She is amazing! I needed a dress to be made out of my mothers Wedding dress and she came through. I cant wait to see it! Way cheaper than buying a new dress or going to any other place to get it done. I am so blessed to have found Dottie within this crazy time with the pandemic going on.

Dot altered my wedding gown and also made a beautiful veil from scratch that matched it perfectly! My dress was pretty unique and had a lot of layers so I knew it was going to be tricky but wow! Dot did a fantastic job! I also loved coming in for fittings because Dot & I got along so well. She is a real sweetheart and has a passion for her trade. 5 stars all around!!!

Dottie is amazing! She made my custom wedding dress for my wedding this past weekend. I came to her with an unconventional idea, and not only did she draw up the design exactly how I wanted it, but her job on the creation of the dress was impeccable. Each fitting was a fantastic experience- she became almost like a part of my family. The experience itself was one of the highlights of the entire wedding planning process. The dress was absolutely beautiful, completed on time, and I couldnt be happier. If you need any sort of alterations done, or a completely custom creation do not hesitate to meet with Dottie- it will be an unforgettable experience with an absolutely fabulous result.

The absolute BEST tailor I have worked with !!! I went to 3 tailors who quoted me a much higher price, and who also did a terrible job with planning on how to bustle my wedding dress and I refused to ruin my dress the way they wanted to change it. She did an amazing job, went above and beyond all my expectations. And on top of that she is incredibly sweet and thoughtful.

Absolutely phenomenal work. Attention to detail is excellent and she cares very deeply about her customers.

Dottie is the BEST! I am a MOH in a wedding and I brought her my dress 3 weeks prior to the wedding. She is doing EVERYTHING and beyond to make sure I am going to look top notch. I would highly recommend using her for any and all alterations. Her attention to detail is superb.

She seemed to be a Great Seamstress for the Non-Colored Folk. I went to her on two separate occasions, both had some reason that she could not service me. But not before giving me a price over $1200 for a pant suit design. WTH? She didnt Want MY business. Cash is Cash!

The Berkley Robotics Team wants to thank Peggendot Design Studio for their sponsorship of our bowling fundraiser. With their help we were able to raise $3500 toward funding our engineering dreams.It is hard for students to approach businesses, but the owner of Peggendot was friendly when our students came in and listened to them patiently and with interest. It was so nice of her to take the time out of her busy work day to talk with our students. It is businesses like this that make Berkley such a great community to live in.On a personal note, Peggendot was able to alter a 1960s vintage gown for me and I love the way it fits!

After almost $500 in work, my dress, veil, bra, and slip were still incomplete. Due date was even extended by 3 weeks.Work done was good, but was incomplete. Owner was rude when I confronted about incomplete work and I was told, Sorry. Well, have fun.Super bummed out to be unable to help this local business.
