Just got my computer back. I had it serviced for virus removal. It runs so smooth now. The owner Jason was very helpful.
I hate to see small, independent businesses go under, but thats exactly what will happen to this one unless its owner makes some drastic changes. My laptop went in for a repair that was never made due to a part on back order. That was only the backdrop of the frustration in dealing with this vendor. Communication was poor (I had to call them on days when I told my laptop would be ready--no calls were ever made to me). Promised finish dates were blown three times. And the kicker? When I finally went in to pick up my unrepaired laptop, I found the shop locked and empty at noon (hours are 10-7). No sign. I returned again (on my way back from an appointment, found a sign that said, On bank run. Back at 2:30). It was 2:26, then 2:35 and so on all the way to 3 p.m. I was finally rescued by the owner of the laundry next door, who called Jason, the owner. No apologies. No attempts to make up for the poor service. Is this business technically competent? Ill never know.
