Such a lovely store. The layout/design is wonderful. Just browsing in the store brings joy. (Seems they are better about leaving customers be; a couple of times in the past the checking up became a bit too much. But on most recent visit that wasnt an issue.) Go visit this store--you wont be sorry. Great gifts. And youll be glad theres a place like this in Berkley for a dose of joy.

Great place to find locally made goods, knickknacks and art pieces. Plenty of stuff to make your home feel cozy. They have a great selection of wedding items, baby items, and cards. Very friendly staff and a great atmosphere. There is a comfy chair for those men who are shopping with their ladies. Reasonable prices.

Cute store with so many gift ideas. Went in looking for Detroit/Michigan gifts and was not disappointed. They also have Hi-Chew, if youve never heard of it ... buy it. If you have, this is the place to stock up.

A lot of cute stuff and pretty well organized. A bit pricey. Why ask for email address or FB flyers when social media is untouched? Could give Hallmark a run for its money if more people knew about it and prices were knocked down just a bit. Customer service is a bit overzealous and yet not.

This is my first time visiting. I was hopeful that it would be a pleasant experience since I had heard so many lovely things about it.I went in to find a gift for my daughters birthday. There were many cute things, so I like to hold onto prospective gifts as I look. I put back things I chose to not get. I have to see things together to chose. I guess this is not how the people that run the store like things to go.The ladies that work on Catching Fireflies are very aggressively helpful - asking repeatedly over and over if I wanted things held at the register, if I needed help, if I needed something...... it was very unpleasant and intrusive. It was well over a dozen times in less than 45 min. I feel that one or two polite declinings should be enough for a staff to leave a person alone.I know from years of living with a father in charge of retail loss prevention in a major store that this (a rigorous followind and inquiry) is a way to make sure potential thieves have no opportunity to steal a stores goods. I do not appreciate being a person suspicious of theft. You need to refine your customer service policies.I will not be returning - ever.
