Everything is overpriced, or the quality of some food items are awful. I understand that because of Covid all of the retailers are jacking up prices, but this is ridiculous. Shredded cheese cost 16.99 for a 24 oz. bag. They are in a food desert, I guess thats why they treat their neighbors as they do.

They have good food and they are constantly cleaning and rotating everything giving the old food to less price, and the knew looks wonderful 🍆🥦🥑🥬

I have been a patron of Torres Supermarket since it came into business and I never ever had an issue with food quality... Until I decided to try their Menudo. It’s one thing if I myself thought it was disgusting but myself and 5 additional family members?! I’m sorry but this was beyond edible, for starters it was cold upon serving. I’m assuming Fresh Menudo should be nice and hot.It did not taste like authentic menudo, it was like eating raw. meat in tomato sauce. Absolutely disgusting, please save yourself the anguish and possible trip to the hospital after eating this not to mention the money because you won’t get it back. I ordered a gallon and a half thinking that it would be of excellent taste, and boy was I wrong. So an hour later I returned back to the store with the unopened gallon and the half of gallon that we did open to eat. It was ridiculous the fact that I had to argue with the supervisor for 45 minutes about getting my money back. To make a long story short I never got my back, I got store credit and only for a gallon and not the rest. Supervisor said that I could dispute this with the store manager Lorena on the following day. I tried calling her and she could never come to the phone, I left messages and they were never returned.My advise if you want to be a valued customer do not come here as far as the Menudo eat at your own risk.Best Wishes

I love their take out chili rellenos warm served with a sauce.The best!I even order them for Christmas home party.

One of my must go places when I am around berwyn. Must try there white conchas they are absolutely amazing every since I try theirs I cant go anywhere else to get them. Good job!

I vesited the taqueria. Their sopes and gorditas were great, the tacos were spa so. Ill have more on my next visit just to verify.

Usually we go to Torres in Cicero to purchase Menudo, but being late they sold out came to the one in Berwyn...and trust me is bad unless they tried to serve me the remaining so they didnt have to trow it to the garbage... 1st and last time we buy from here .2 stars due to store looks clean

I love coming here for all my groceries. food is great, place is clean, and I always find what I need. Sadly, customer service is horrible!The cashiers either need to be trained, or the owner should consider hiring friendlier staff that have no problem doing their job without an attitude.

The customer service is very nice. Their meat selection is very good. The prices on their meat is decent. They have a wide variety of produce and it all seems fresh. They have a selection of beans and other things that you cant find anywhere else.

Satisfied with my visit there, unfortunately they do not offer all the items that other stores carry as they carry only specific items. Compared to the stores on the north side of Chicago this store is pretty good. They have most of what youll need and they are excellent for a quick stop visit.

This is a neighborhood grocery store with an att level type of mentality.Family owned and managed so it’s a real shame they don’t take the time to know their everyday patrons...Particularly manage (Alma) very rude and short towards patrons which rubs off to everyone else.Go somewhere else more FRIENDLY would be my recommendation!

Good service. You can find lots of Latin grocery in here. They have a restaurant (which I havent tried) and they make their own ice cream and green smoothies.

1st time and I had a great experience...very clean, and organized. Ate at the taqueria and it was also great... The flavor and the sizes are reasonable.

High prices... wanted a baguette but they packed them while they are still hot... so I asked a lady if they had some that hadnt been packed warm.... she didnt even bother to see inside...

Please dont go on Sat. And not even think to go in Sunday!You will get there forever.Please dont take all the kids on your neighborhood they just on the way.

So happy to see the good reviews / scores here. Yelp had some bad reviews that I dont feel are reflective of this place.I really like this place! I usually need to go to a few stores. They dont have a HUGE selection and my parents like more American food (like TV dinners, siiigh). However, I love Torres for Mexican staples (fresh produce, the ready to eat now avocados, the deli or any other hard to find Mexican items). They even have beer! My husband makes the grocery runs here more often than not, but I come here quite often too. This is a super convenient place to stop for hot food (tamales) or fresh bolillos (yummy sandwich rolls). Its never very crowded either, so its great to pop in after work to pick something up and get in and out quickly. Glad we have it in Berwyn!

Common Mexican grocery store WITH a restaurant inside. They serve great food - I especially like their enchiladas and tortas.

Prices are a little high for some things but for the most part good prices for quality produce. Their hot meal are superb! Menudo and barbacoa on Sundays are the best!

Took my son to eat at the restaurant I had to clean the table because it was dirty the waitress - cook comes over to take the order and spills the hot sauce on my coat, last bite of the torta and it had a huge hair I tell the waitress-cook and she says she’s sorry and still charges me for the torta I will never go there again 👎🏼

Be careful when ordering meat. We went to complain to the manager that their butcher messed up our meat order and they would not come out and talk to us. Get your steak somewhere else.

When I first came here everything looked cleaned and organized, so I was like OK this is my new favorite grocery store. But after numerous visits I noticed that product wasnt in correct place. They put product behind lower prices so when you go to check out and dont pay attention they over charge you to correct price. And they wont honor the price thats shown on shelf. To me they are false advertising. This happened to me twice. So if you do decide to shop there pay attention to cashier scanning your items.
