Absolute pleasure to deal with. Rob came out measured the job spent over and hour and half going over the job with my wife and I to make sure it was exactly what we wanted. Carl’s was very accommodating with scheduling worked around our schedule.Even when the install began the installers went over the job with us again to make sure everything was still as we wanted. The installers were by far the most courteous workers we have had perform work at our home. When completed it was if no one was even on site.Thank you

They have all the supplies you need. A little more expensive than home depot / lowes but its good to support a local business. They respond fast. Good customer support

08/25/2020 - I have a wooden stockade fence that needed replacing. Over the years, I’ve always wanted a custom gate with a pergola. We visited several fence companies in Nassau County. We were more than willing to pay the extra cost for custom work, but unless we wanted a vinyl fence, no one would even speak with us. Then we went to Carl’s Fence in Bethpage. We spoke with the sales rep Tom and explained wanted we wanted. He understood and said that Carl’s can easily make the custom gate and pergola we wanted.Today, Sean and Steve installed our fence, gate and pergola. It looks Great! Sean and Steve arrived on time and got to work. They’re professionals. When they were done, they took all the debris. I would recommend Carl’s Fence and use them again.

I chose Carls Fence for the installation of a cedar fence at my home. It was installed neatly and exactly to my specifications. I am a shopper and their prices were better than the competition. On May 2nd of this year I had a plastic fence installed around my property. ( Full backyard) 4 men wearing masks, came and started taking my old cedar fence down. They did such a great job! Rob, the sales person for residential sales has been terrific! He is clearly an expert in his field. He knows the best products to use, has great ideas and is very easy to work with. The quality of their materials along with the expert workmanship and fair prices make Carls one of the few really good businesses around. They are honest, reliable and offer support after the sale. When I called this company the manager Robert came to my hose on the same day and gave me a reasonable estimate on the new 6ft x 40ft fence installation. The 2 installers arrived at the promised time and started to do the work immediately. They installed 40ft of vinyl fence, the posts were installed in concrete in less then 2Hrs. The fence was perfectly leveled and looks great! They left the worksite very clean & leveled the dirt. I was extremely impressed with this crew. I would never hesitate to recommend this company to any of my friends and relatives!

This was the 2nd time we used Carls Fence and both jobs were top notch. The white PVC fence looks clean, tight, and beautiful and its low to the ground to keep our 2 dogs safe. Carls Fence was willing to do a small job for us. It consisted of moving a post and replacing an oversize gate (installed years ago by another company) with one that would align properly with our walkway. If there were 6 stars available, I would rate Carls Fence that! I couldnt be more pleased. My fence wasnt easy - the front of my property slopes down slightly on one side, but I wanted the fence to be as low to the ground as possible because I have a small dog I did not want to escape under it. I didnt like the idea of a fence that had steps going up or down, nor did I want a fence that sloped, nor one with boards on the bottom to bring it flush to the ground. I had seen all these solutions on fences in my neighborhood. Carls fence understood my needs and came up with a perfect solution - somehow they customized the board sections of the fence so it is PERFECT!! The whole operation was wonderful, from Robert who took my order - listened to my requests and solved my issues - to the fine workmen who installed the fence perfectly, neatly and quickly. I could not ask for a better outcome! Do yourself a favor and go with this company. You wont be sorry.

2 yrs ago i moved to Wantagh & I needed a fence. i called Carls Fence & had an appointment immediately. Robert was the Salesman..This guy is great !! He definetly knows his job !! The installers were terrific also. Very Very Neat. As a result of Roberts knowledge & ease to deal with I had him go to my Sons house & he was given the job to put his fence in as well. There is no job too small or big that he cant handle. Great to know that there are still a few honest & nice people in the working world. Pleasure to do business with him.

Robert, the salesman, was very polite, and attentive. Carls installed my aluminum railing. Their workmen were careful and did a great job. I recommend them highly.

We have used Carls Fence for all of our PVC fences on our property. Michael Biggin has been the most helpful and kind professional that anyone can ask for throughout the ten years of working together. I would recommend them to anyone looking to add a fence.

I would go lower than 1 star if possible. The person who came out for the estimate screwed up and caused a major screw up that should have been a clue as to the way the job was going to go. Because of his error we all know it flows down hill. The installers became less friendlier than when they cameJob was supposed to be Monday and Tuesday. Mid day Tuesday they said we will be back Friday to finish. They put up make shift gates as we have a large dog. Well a good breeze came and temporary gate fell and almost lost the dog. They also cut a metel fence post from old fence above ground that the dog could step in and get hurt. After having recent back surgery I had to fill in the post. If they would have said could we come the following week as all gate material isnt ready that would be the acceptable and right business decision. Two neighbors recommend the company and they cant believe the work and apologized for the recommendation. I would rather pay another company more money than what they are charging. With all these issues ( pictures were shown to manager in their office all they want to do is take $200 off bill. That doesnt even cover a gate! Shame on your people and next rating goes to BBB.

Made an appointment and the agent who I supposed to meet called to cancel, because its raining. I then offer to meet at a later time when the rain is not so heavy, the guy said he will get back to me and he never did.

Called up to get an estimate and the guy who picked up the phone was extremely rude. Basically told me to stop talking if I want an estimate. Worst customer service I’ve ever seen

Had 3 different times for the guy to come and give me and all times either didnt show, was an hour late or no call. When you call there no one picks up the phone.
