To be honest the shop as well as the baked goods and coffee are great. However customer service truly was a disgrace today. I am not a young man and was needing to use the bathroom urgently. The person behind the counter informed me that is was for customers only. I told him as soon as I use he washroom I will return and order what I wanted. He would not trust me and refused to allow me the use of the mens room. So lets be honest if you want to profile me, I am white, mid-sixties, and dressed in nice attire. What a inconsiderate young man behind the counter. I hope if one of his parents needed to use the urinal they also are made to feel like a bum on the street.

Pastries and coffee just like in Italy. Great quality. Here you can find typical mignon pastries which are staples of italian pasticceria tradition, e.g. baba au rhum, chocolate flames, cannoli etc. Among the cakes, crostate, and some gluten free options. Espresso done like in Italy. Highly recommended. I will be back.

All I had was an elephant ear. It was fine. The shop is comfortable. Staff was just acceptable. Clean and well kept, as expected for the location.

I have just experienced the most unacceptable behavior from the owner of the coffee shop. he was so disrespectful and arrogant. we came in very politely and I was talking over the phone and unconsciously was leaning back on the the chair and out of sudden the owner/Italian guy was telling me to stand up with his hands pointing at me disrespectfully. and said you should sit like a human being is that even acceptable to come out of his mouth!! I would never ever come back to this place. and he should apologize to me.

Finally good coffee in the United States! I find the flavors of an Italian coffee and accompanied by fresh morning pastries. A simple but effective decor, a slight Italian music and servers of great kindness.

The best Italian coffees in California. Finally a real ristreto (and its rare)! Unfortunately the pastries are still not that .. the croissants and choco breads are the hardest I have ever tasted (despite their beautiful mouths)
