Good communication during the sales process. Had the exact machine I was looking for, for the right price. Everyone that I interacted with while there was really cool and friendly. Doc fee and service dept fees were both slightly higher than originally stated. Had to wait around a while even though I had an appointment, drove 2 hours to get there, and paid in cash. I was told they were going to wash the bike for me, but they never even so much as wiped it down.. it was dusty/dirty. All in all I had a mostly good experience.

I had such a great experience at this shop! Starting with our sales person, Ellen. She found the scooter that I was looking for and kept me updated through the process. Brad was also very knowledgeable about warranty’s and wasn’t pushy at all. Also, Brad is one funny dude and made our experience here a lot more fun! The icing on the cake though was Ryan. He answered all of my questions about the scooter. I didn’t feel rushed at all. Ryan helped load and tie down the scooter in the back of our truck. We were worried about getting the scooter out of the truck once we got it home, because we don’t own a ramp. Ryan was kind enough to loan us his own ramp that he keeps in his jeep. Thank you Ryan for making our experience as stress free as possible. 128 Cycle has a great staff and I will definitely return for all of our outdoor needs!

I called and explained that I needed a tire mounted for my bike as I was leaving for vacation and I couldn’t get the tire on myself. I spoke to Mike Hunter who advised me to bring it in and he would have it ready the next day. When I arrived at Cycles 128 I spoke with Ray Demerchant and Mike who were so friendly from the start. Mike told me they would mount the tire for me right away even though they were very busy. I bought my 1994 Yamaha V-Max at Parkway Cycles brand new and still have it. I lived closer to Cycles 128 so I took my bike there for storage, tune ups, repairs and when I was in an accident in 1995, Cycles 128 fixed it. I dealt with Dave Nugent (former service manager) for years and developed a great relationship with him. At the beginning of this spring, I called for a large service order. I wanted a tune up, oil change, ALL hydraulic fluid change, new spark plugs, fuel filter, final gear fluid change and a complete coolant flush. The service writer at the time (Ray) was very nice and apologized to me, saying that they don’t do bikes that are as old as mine. Now, Last year, they took my bike with no problem and serviced it. So, I asked if Dave Nugent was there and the service writer(Ray) went to tell him. He came back on the phone and said that Dave Nugent said that I was a long time loyal customer and that they would take my bike and service it, which they did. (My bike is in mint condition) The bill was well over 700 dollars, which I expected and was more than happy to pay because of the great service I always received from Cycles 128. So, today, I was going for a ride and discovered that my clutch slave cylinder was defective and had to pump my clutch hydraulics to get it to shift. I called Cycles 128 and Ray answered. He, as usual, was very nice and professional. After I explained what happened, he told me that he would get the new service manager. After a few minutes the service manager came on the phone. I explained my problem to him and he said he wouldn’t be able to get to it till mid August because “we’re too busy and we don’t take old bikes, we’re moving away from them”. I then said that I can just leave it and I wasn’t in a rush, still, the answer was no. Now. I understand that parts are hard to find for older bikes but never had this problem with the V-Max because of the long production history. I then asked for Dave and he told me that he retired which surprised me, because the last time I talked to him he said he was going to try to do a couple more years. But I’m glad Dave finally did it. I explained to him, again, that I am a 27 year customer and asked if there was anything he could do. He said no. I then asked for a suggestion of how I could get my bike serviced, he didn’t offer valid suggestions. I ended up taking my bike to another dealer and they took me with absolutely no issues. I am extremely disappointed at Cycles 128 which USED to be my favorite dealership. This new service manager was very disappointing. I am buying a Rocket 3 at the end of this riding season and I was going to buy it there, but now, I WILL be taking my business to someone else. Thank you for your previous service but I will not be patronizing your establishment again. Really sad about this and it pains me to write this review.

After several long months and a few frustrating weeks I finally took delivery on the highly elusive 21 Honda CRF300L Rally! COVID has really slowed deliveries to a crawl, so the delays and frustrations were no fault of Cycles. This is not a friendly place even though some individuals are very nice. After years of so-so responsiveness and unimpressive prices I have avoided 128 cycles since a couple years ago when I went in for my yearly massachusetts inspection sticker and the repair shop manager said I failed because my auxiliary lights were not connected to my high beam switch. He said they needed to turn off automatically when the high beam is turned on. I looked up what massachusetts requires, there is a world of difference between fog lights and auxiliary lights and I was compliant. I went straight down the street to the Indian dealer and got a sticker. Between small shops and online Ive avoided dealing with this shop and the others owned by this price fixing Boston dealer conglomerate.

I have had several great experiences with Cycles with both purchases and repair service. Most recently I had a bike in trying to track down a vibration issue. With this sort of problem they could have easily offered do a number of things that would have racked up charges without solving the problem. Instead they had someone who owns the same bike take it out for a test drive. Based on their experience riding my bike they were able to determine that the vibration was a result of some recent changes I had made to the bike and not a mechanical issue.

I have purchased two brand new bikes in under a year from Cycles 128. The dealer was in my new hometown, so I wanted to support them as well as capitalize on the convenience of their proximity to where I live. The first bike was a brand new 2017 Kawasaki Versys X, but it was at their sister dealership in Arlington (Cycles128 doesnt sell Kawasaki). My salesman at the time was Billy, and he was able to have the bike transferred from Arlington to Beverly for me, and I hadnt even put a deposit down on it. yet. This was based on a phone call I had made while on vacation in Costa Rica. Convenient! The whole process was easy, painless, and very relaxed. There was never any pressure or upselling, and it never felt predatory as vehicle sales so often are.Fast forward to just under a year later, and I decided to upgrade to a Suzuki VStrom 650. This time I had the great pleasure of dealing with Ellen Petrilli and Rick Brandano. Yet another chill, great experience. I told them right up front what I was looking for, and with that knowledge, they showed me other alternatives to consider but never discouraging me from my original goal. Their inventory is incredibly vast and a virtual candy store, and I was glad for the other options that were shown to me. I had my heart set on the VStrom, so we got down to business. Worth noting was a little hiccup on Suzukis part, as their manufacturer website claimed that there were certain accessories included with the bike that turned out not to be. Not a concern because Rick and C128 were on the case and miraculously got Suzuki to make good on their claim. They didnt have to do that, because most dealerships would predictably claim their hands were tied and just shrug it off. But not these guys. They totally prevailed and saved the day. That I will never forget. The numbers part of the operation was handled by Brad, with whom I had worked with on my prior purchase as well. Another great asset to the company.I now half-expect people to yell Norm! when I walk into the place now because I dealt with a lot of people and theyre just a warm bunch. Just awesome.

EDIT: I left a review on their website and a sales manager contacted me. He apologized for the situation and gave me store credit. Very happy with his professionalism in a bad situation.__________________Awesome place to look around, but don’t buy parts here.I ordered a set of front and rear bearings for my triumph Daytona. After receiving them I realized that they gave me 4 front bearings instead of 2 front and 2 rear. When I call to tell them this, the person helping me insisted that I got all of the correct parts because he said that for my bike there was no difference between the bearings.I knew something was off so I looked at the parts map on bike bandit and confirmed that I got the wrong parts. I called Cycles 128 back and the same person who insisted I got the correct parts told me that now, all of a sudden, things changed in their system and he could see that I indeed did get the wrong parts. There’s a very small chance that he was telling me the truth, especially considering they had to take my VIN to order the parts. So I’m not sure how “things changed”. Second, he was unwilling to exchange the bearings that they gave me in the first place and made me pay for the new bearings, EVEN THOUGH THEY CLEARLY MADE THE MISTAKE. I asked to speak to the boss and he said that he was the boss. Although he realized they made a mistake, he said there was nothing they could do about it. I would’ve gotten the parts elsewhere, but there aren’t too many triumph dealers around. If you have the chance to shop elsewhere, you should! Don’t bother shopping in a place where the management is unwilling to accept their own mistakes and act arrogantly towards their customers.

I was riding A few weeks ago in the Beverly area and my bike broke down. I contacted 128 cycles and they immediately sent a turbo to recover my bike. The tow truck operator was friendly and helpful. He told me to call 128 cycles in an hour or so and they should be able to give me an update on the status of my bike. I called approximately two hours later and was told my bike was fine and I could pick it up at any time. I went to 128 cycles to retrieve my bike and was told there was a $25 fee, but the good news was nothing at all was found wrong with my bike when they inspected it prior to my arrival. I happily paid the cost associated with towing my bike and happily jumped off and was heading home. My bike broke down about 10 minutes later and 1 mile away from 128 cycles. I push the bike the mile went into the service department and explain what had just happened. They apologized and told me to leave the bike out front with the keys in it and they will have someone immediately look at it. I then called my friend for ride home.I called approximately five hours later and the person that answered the phone told me he had no work order for my bike. I guess it was just sitting out in front of the dealership with the keys in it for five hours.I call the following day for an update. The service department answer the phone I identified myself and said good morning I’m calling about my bike. I was told what do you want we are very busy !! I explain my situation once again and was told they will call me after they get a chance to look at it.I called them back the following day. I was told they would not be able to look at it for at least 10 to 14 days. I called again after about 14 days. I was told it was a battery cable and also needed a new battery. I asked when the bike would be ready so I could pick it up. I was told maybe another seven days they had to order the battery cable. I called again after another seven days and was told the parts are all in, but no one has worked on it yet. I asked when would it be ready. I was not given a straight answer. I’ve been waiting for three weeks to get my bike back. I am not very happy and I cannot see how it takes three weeks for a battery cable and a battery. I think this is the last time I go to 128 cycles.

Turns out I paid for them to mail it in and wait weeks for me to get. Then was told it was my insurance that was holding the whole deal up for being able to register the trailer. I felt like the middle man talking to both parties with a disconnect between them which some how seemed like my fault, Left numerous messages that were unanswered. I finally got a call back saying I was ready to pick it up and it was all set and ready to ride. I ended up paying for them to deliver it.(used part of the runner fee to cover it) when it was finally delivered I could not find the registration for the ski. How to begin...bought a brand new Triumph, sight-unseen, all done over the phone, paid in cash. Should have been the easiest sale of the year but some how I spent days getting the runaround. Then, after the bike was delivered, I discovered the Bluetooth module doesn’t work, a windscreen support bar was installed upside-down, resulting in a part connected to it breaking. And the cowl behind the windscreen that covers the electronics is missing, never installed. For $17,500 it is unfathomable that there would be so many issues. And now it’s been nearly two weeks trying to get these problems addressed without any progress. I’m so sick of poor service everywhere I go. Now, everyone’s excuse is COVID-19. Unless the guy assembling the bike was blind with fever then there is no reason there should be all these problems; and even after the problems have been identified, why is it nearly two weeks later and I still have a broken bike?

I have been coming to 128 for a few years now for service on my various metric cruisers. They have been servicing my current bike for 3 years now. Being a believer in preventative maintenance and being a LITTLE specific about how I like things done, I have never felt marginalized. Mike, Dave and Frank (service managers) have never tossed aside my questions or requests and have always taken the time to converse with me. Between aftermarket parts, diagnosis, etc. they always have taken care of me in a patient and professional manner. A mechanic you trust is tough to come by. Having been to other shops before, the work repair orders, attention to detail and overall passion for the trade is definitely in lack. Although Tyler doesn’t always get to work on my bike, it is obvious when he does. There are always paragraphs full of details of his findings and the work done on my machine. He has stayed late to test fit custom handlebars for me, held on to parts for me for a couple of days when I didn’t have transportation and has even emailed me updates via email including pictures of the progress on my bike when it’s in the shop. Tyler is a true gearhead and has a passion for what he does. He treatsmy machine like I know he treats his. I will continue to be a satisfied customer of 128 and Tyler will always be my mechanic as long as he stays in the game.

Had a great experience! Roger answered ALL my questions weeks before I even made a decision to buy a bike. During the sales process he was Great, and during the final transaction Danielle helped me with questions and helping me with getting my stamped RMV1 form from my insurance. Great group of proffesionals who are also great people. Made me feel like part of the family. Lets also not forget my awesome tech Dominick who went over my entire bike with me before I rode off into the sunset!

A great dealership. I wasnt sure exactly what I wanted and they were very patient showing me everything as well as letting me try out a few bikes to help me make my decision. Rob C. and Rick were great and they gave me a really good deal on a new Honda. I would recommend this dealership to anyone who wants a new or good used vehicle. They have a selection of vehicles that ought to meet the needs of anyone that wants a motorcycle.

Just bought a new Triumph from these guys and the process could not have been easier. Very polite and helpful staff, everyone was willing to chat, help out and not put any pressure on me for a decision. Only wrinkle was during the closing of the sale, I was pushed a little bit on taking the extended service warranties, after a polite No thanks from me I was asked if I was sure, was I really sure. Its a small thing, but put a little bit of a sour ending to what had been a really really pleasant process. Having said that, I would recommend them to anyone and gladly buy another bike from them again.

Just picked up a beautiful 2017 Triumph T120 at Cycles 128. The team spent lots of time with us. Best price. Attention to detail. Super friendly. The way it should be. Highly recommend.

Do not even attempt to purchase a bike from these guys. After meeting with a salesmen and looking over the inventory. I decided to call it a day and headed home. The next day, after making a decision I called them back and put in an offer on a bike. They never bothered to respond. Cycles 128 has lost yet another customers business.

Frustrating at best! After browsing their website I found a bike priced amazing. I knew I was taking a risk waiting a day or two until I could get there, then I saw the bike posted on a Motorcycle sales site. The bike was still there, sweet! Or is it? I grab cash and race there.... sorry, that bike sold a few weeks ago. Well it was listed on your website and a sales website just posted this morning. Well, I have some similar bikes for 3 times the price Ill be thrilled to show you. Bait and switch? Terrible web guy? I buy a lot of bikes and I would be hard pressed to go back.

Salesman tried to SCAM me. What an awful experience. I go in, looking for a bike, the salesman seems tired with me from the start and lazily shows me a few bikes that are not to my liking. I finally land on one bike and tell him honestly that the price is overvalued, he says show me the NADA average price for the bike and I did. About $1600 less than what they have it bumped up at.Now, keep in mind when he said they are offering $1 OFF EVERY CC on the motorcycle. This was a 599cc bike, so he would give me $599 off the price of the bike correct? No, he says The price will be off the before price. WHAT??? Not off the price of the bike?!?! I happily walked away as he was very unprofessionally screaming around other customers to my face. Are you freaking kidding me? I know I can sleep at night knowing I didnt give this scum my money - but the question is how do they sleep at night trying to run scams with people?

I went to Cycles 128 for the motorcycle school and ended up purchasing my R6 there. I passed on other dealership which is closer to where I live. The staff is friendly and attentive, every single one of them (we would be walking around or waiting and they made sure I was being helped). My rep was Jeremy, a cool, friendly guy. He answered all my erratic questions calmly and was very patient when I was taking the time to make my decisions. On a side Story, he let a customer test ride his bike because it was the same model, and I dont think most people would let a stranger on their bike.I particularly liked Cycles 128 because they werent pushy and were willing to earn my business. Rob Therriault, the sales manager, even showed me his screen to ensure me that I was getting a great deal. I was getting my own finance and I appreciate Robs help and guidance on the process.I highly recommend Cycles 128 knowing that I got the best deal from them. In the future, I will pass up on other nearby dealerships and drive up there every time and will urge my friends and family to do the same.

My 17 year old son and I went to purchase his first motorcycle. Rick Brandano did a superb job of helping him really understand his options and the difference between styles. Instead of being sold, I felt like he was getting custom fitted for the bike that was best for him. It couldnt been a more pleasant experience. My son absolutely loves his Honda CB 500 XJ!

I had never even ridden a motorcycle before let alone know what kind of helmet to buy so I decided to go into cycles 128 despite the reviews. After being politely greeted I told the young women I had no idea where to start. I tried on maybe 6-7 helmets that she got from out back all while having a smile on her face. She was incredibly patient, kind, informative and knowledgable on the brands and even the materials used in the helmets and gloves. This young women provided a level of customer service that is so hard to come by these days. I ended up purchasing both and I will absolutely be back again.

Cycles 128 was a great experience..i started off looking into financing a street bike just for the hell of it...rick and brad were great and took me seriously every step of the way..and in the end i walked away with a beautiful street bike...but instead of getting one that was used...brad set me up with a brand new one of same model for even less money then the used one....such a great experience!!

Contacted Triumph 128 recently to have my 2006 Triumph Sprint repaired. It will not start. I am a prior customer. They told me that they would not look at my bike until the fall. I called National Power Sports and they fit me in. In 30 minutes they diagnosed a bad starter. I hate to drive all the way to New Hampshire but Triumph 128 just lost a customer

Similar to a prior review, my experience is that the service is poor. There has been damage to the motorcycles rim, in a situation that easily could have resulted in an accident (consider what the labor costs to replace a rim, never mind the price of the part; and what the trade-in value of a motorcycle tends to be, if you do not know these things). Though the shop made concessions to regain trust after that, the bike needed other costly repairs pursuant to the follow-up appointment, evidently because it was left outside AND prior Chain service appeared to never have been done adequately per the opinion of a technician at a different local shop (He said he would take it back to them). These things probably should be pursued in the court system, but it might not be worth the time or effort to file a small claim(s), and there was no Low side, High side, or collision. Still, I can not give two stars.

Ive never in my life felt I like I needed to go home and write a bad review online until I get burned by this place three times. The sales staff and the new general manager are cool. I cant say that with the service department. The service department guy who works up front is a straight up masshole and should leave if he doesnt care about servicing customers motorcycles. Parts are grossly over expensive. I had to find a triumph dealer in Pennsylvania who got me new pair of cut/ chipped keys for my tiger xc for $45. Cycles 128 wanted $150 each and I had to buy two plus $100 to program. I paid a $1000 for a 12k service and they didnt make any notes on my valve check, were they too tight, too loose how is the engine breaking in? Was everything in spec? The service dept doesnt know? I was never notified that my bike was ready for pickup both times I had motorcycles serviced there. Get some fresh people in the service department and this place could be solid.

Recently purchased a Triumph America LT from Cycles 128. My salesman, Doug B, was very friendly and a pleasure to work with. He was attentive and answered all my questions. At no point did I feel pressured to make a purchase which I appreciated (much different than the whole car buying experience). Luis in finance was also easy to work with and explained things clearly so there werent any surprises. The entire process was what buying a motorcycle should be, enjoyable! Only thing left to do now is ride.

Great service station. My handle bars were taking longer than expected to arrive. I called and they had ones next day shipped to me for free, which cost them $75.They were installed next day and ready to pick up. I had a few adjustment issues and had to go back twice that day. Both times the service man frank helped me instantly. If you want good help make sure you ask for frank. He followed through and made sure I was happy every step.
