In the Spring of 2018, we hired Affordable Kitchens and Baths to remodel our bathroom. The work was done by Tracy Lauzon (the owners son) and subcontractors. Tracy promised the remodel would be done within 4 weeks, it took 9 weeks. He did not complete the work as described in the contract - a radiator was to be moved but he couldn’t find a plumber to do it. And he left some work incomplete. The wall and trim should have had another coat of paint, and a hole was cut into our kitchen ceiling to fix a leak in the tub but he did not finish repairing the hole. Tracy installed the vanity, top, sink and toilet himself. The drawer faces do not line up, the vanity top is not even (one side has a 1/2” overhang, the other has a 1 1/2” overhang), the sink plunger mechanism doesn’t work, and the toilet leaked two weeks after the work was finally completed, thats when we discovered the shut-off value was broken. We had to pay a plumber $200 to fix it. Tracy also hung the towel rack without using anchors and it was crooked. It ended up coming out of the wall, so we rehung it ourselves. All in all, I would never recommend working with Tracy or Affordable Kitchens and Baths.

Affordable Kitchens and Baths did an excellent job on our kitchen renovation. Its a family business, and Gil Lauzon and his son Tracy do most of the installation as well as the scheduling of other suppliers, the electrician, the plumber, etc., eliminating the need for a separate contractor, which is often required if you buy your cabinets from other retail outlets. Gil was very helpful when a separate business that I had hired had some problems with some substandard materials that could have delayed the time-table. But with Gils flexibility it all came together on the time-frame he originally gave us.

Gil did a great job on our new shower, would highly recommend him to anyone and Charlie is an asset to the business, just take him biscuits and he loves it!!!!!!

Spending lots of money with our cabinets although a few years ago, well some of the cabinets began to warp and within 6 months I went to the shop and spoke to mr. Lauzon, than a month later I saw Mrs. Lauzon, and after a month I saw Tracy and wouldnt you know it no one ever came over not even to look at it not even a phone call. If I wouldnt love my kitchen I definately wouldve given a 1 star very poor customer service, needless to say I send no one there!

Dont go anywhere else for a kitchen! This is the place!

I needed an outdated part for my drawer and they were extremely helpful! I am going to go with Gil and Tracy for my vanity top!
