Most unprofessional shop I have ever dealt with I Dropped my car off to get fixed after waiting a month for my appointment. Just to find out that after almost a week and a half of having my car they have done no work to it at all they never called me once I had to call them. And asked if I would like to come get it because there paint and body man is unavailable and dont know when he will be available.not even offering to at least replace my broken windshield so the car is drivable without getting a ticket they said they will at least do the windshield we will see and after this I will never do business with them again.

The body work looks good, but they didnt make sure the taillight was properly working so when I picked up the truck, I realized later, I didnt have a turn signal or break light on driver side. It was inconvenient and irritating. I let them know immediately (after close) and they followed up promptly the following morning. They apologized and I was able to take it in at any time as to not inconvenience me any further. That was appreciated. All in all, it was a good experience. Next time I will insist on a walk thru with them, so we can be sure we check everything prior to leaving. (Before and after pics)

Had relatively minor damage under the passenger side doors from a trailer backing into it. Brought it to Gerber Collision in Big Rapids and had the work performed, upon pickup the workmanship looked great and I had good piece of mind. Fast forward to the following morning after pickup, I began loading my fishing gear into my truck and removed some of the belongings from under my back seat, and behold a previously unopened box of 22lr was open and more than half was gone, this isn’t the only thing to go astray while in the possession of Gerber Collision.

We needed work done on our truck as a result of an accident. We took the truck to Gerber on the advice of our insurance company, it was a good decision.. The manager, Jeff, was professional and courteous, the work was done well and ahead of the tentative schedule. I’d recommend them highly

My vehicle was repaired by Gerber in Big Rapids as a progressive insurance authorized shop. The repair was completed in a timely manner, and their communication was decent. The people were friendly. Why 3 stars? They broke off my hood release latch. They apparently locked themselves out of my vehicle, and rather than call me (I live a mile away) for a second key, they jimmied the door, leaving a 1 long chipped paint, torn foam door surround, scratched plastic trim, and a scratch on the back of the handle. I will update this review if possible after they have an opportunity to correct it, but it should be on record as it shouldnt have been like that to begin with.Edit: As promised, Gerber made good on their commitment to make things right. They corrected the issues that I addressed with them, and the vehicle is in top form once again. I appreciate their honesty and willingness to correct these issues. I am happy with the results. I changed my review from 3 stars to 4.

Their work is absolutely gorgeous. They have gone out of their way to take care of my vehicle and my personal obligations every time. They know what theyre doing and whats important to you becomes important to them.

Progressive insurance claim...first off there is a reason you get low rates from Progressive, its because they wont fix anything that you cant see with the naked eye.Dont get me wrong car looks okay but heres what they wouldnt fix that was caused by the accident...-radio-stabilitrak-check engine light!?!?-god only know what else

They so helpful and even got me a rental while my car was being worked on. My car looks amazing with complete detail inside and out. Gerber is amazing Russ was so helpful.

Great service,they will fix or replace anything that they have fixed on your vehicle for the life of your vehicle. The people there are friendly and very helpful.

Excellent service, speedy to get my car back, excellent paint and finish ln my truck. My only slight complaint was that they forgot to plug in my license plate lights and towing hookup. It was a friday night though and was kind of rushing them because i needed my truck for the weekend.

Not only would they not wave the $100 deductible, they created a crack in the hood, huge gap in the skirting, water already in the headlight, and they scratched it, and tried to cover it up, and now want us to drive 45 minutes just to look at it...yall paying for gas?...looks like finger paint!

Went to the local car dealership, they said they didnt do repairs. I asked them who they recommend, they said Scotts body shop south of town and warned me about Gerber collision. I got a quote from Scotts and went to Gerber because I wanted to double check before I spent a lot of money. The first time they were closed during the hours they said they were open, then when someone was finally there they were extremely rude, and very sketchy about not giving me a written quote. Couldnt even bother to look at my car, clearly they dont want business if this is how they act. Wouldnt trust my car with them regardless of price. They have family and friends leave reviews? Should have listened to the car dealership and not even wasted my time.

The turn around time for my vehicle was great. Excellent communication between Service personnel and myself.

I went to Gerber for an estimate on my car and they seemed friendly. The guy doing the estimate on my car seemed more interested in me then the car, and kept going on about how the business is really busy. After taking pictures of my car and writing in his notebook he told me the written estimate was going to take an hour and hed email me the estimate. I went home and waited 27 hours. In that time I called twice to check on the process of my estimate and all they could say is we are really busy.After I received the estimate I noticed everything was wrong. They had the wrong side to be repaired and parts that didnt need to be removed were getting removed. I had an appointment and instead of taking care of me and doing the estimate properly they took care of other people and rushed my problem. Im just glad I didnt take my car to them, you cant rush fixing a car and expect it to run and look the way it did before.
