The quarter machines at the self fill-up are always broken. I have wasted many quarters and not gotten any water.
Much better water stations around town to use... Pioneer over charges for their water, they dont keep up their machines and water area, and the most frustrating part is they force you to buy a minimum amount of water... Takes 3 quarters just to start the damn machine... This means you cant top off your tank without wasting quarters and money.
I use my own tank for hauling and have really dislike using the place on weekends. Most afternoons on weekends the coinboxes are full so you have just wasted a trip... during the week is usually fine. It has seemed to be better lately
Great place to get water for cheap.
They have 2 spouts to fill from and are property maintained.
I regret not listening to the other negative reviews listed here. I figured that since I was simply filling a personal water tank I wouldnt have much issue. I typically get water in Laurel, where the going rate is $0.25 per 50 gallons ($2.25 to fill my 450gal tank). I assumed I would get something at least a little comparable at Pioneer when I was getting water for a friend near Shepherd, but I was wrong. After putting seven quarters in, I received just shy of 150 gallons (so $0.25 per 20 gallons), which isnt even half of what I normally get. Stay away from this place, and get your water in Lockwood.
Dont get water from this place. Very expressive. Owner is not nice.
If you have to haul your water this is a great place to go. Price is reasonable and there usually isnt a wait to get loaded.
Their delivery prices are ridiculous and if they need to use a longer hose, heaven forbid, they charge you an additional $30. Hauling your own water is far less of a headache than trying to deal with them.
I agree with other Poster. Newer Owners seem to think they are a gift to the public. Have come home soaked because tied together rope used to drop pipes instead of cable, snagged, causing pipes to separate. Pay money to make money is LOST on this Place. Dont bother with them any longer..
Ordered water and twice they have not filled it all the way when i called they hung up what happened to the day your word ment something as this is in my opinion i,m sure i,m not the only one needless to say i.ll find someone dependable and although maybe rumor but aren,t they owned by fisher water as well
Horrible place to get water. Total rip off. The owner sucks and doesnt care about over charging. Wont refund money. Go to Lockwood Water.
Stole about 7 dollars and still didnt get a full tank. This Place is the biggest rip off. 75 cents for 100 gallons. Done this more than once to us and to anyone weve talked to. Wouldnt waste your time or money here.
Water costs too much. Station is always broken or eating quarters... I prefer lockwood water.
Pumps dont always work right
