A good experience overall, and the rocky mountain oysters were surprisingly good. The service was excellent and the rest of the food was definitely above average. The decor was nice and this is a pretty good spot for families, albeit a bit expensive. If I was ever in the area again, I would come back.
Great food. Staff was very easNt for it being a busy night and kept us informed on who long for food. Kinda wish I would have tried the ribs...looked delish but the pasta Alfredo was awesome with huge beautiful mushrooms!!! Thanks...job well done!

My friends and I had dinner at Bull Mountain grille on Saturday night. They were busy which was good to see. By the time we ordered it had slowed down. We waited and waited for our dinner and the waitress kept apologizing for the wait. Finally she brought our dinner and said she would pay because of the delay. That was honorable on her part but it was not her fault. We certainly hope that the restaurant comped us and not the waitress. I always love going there and the food is always good.

If you are looking for comfort food they have a nice menu. Service was good. Did not have steak this time which is their specialty.

Known for their steaks including the 78 oz challenge and also their chicken fried steak. I tried the chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and a salad being a bit after lunchtime. Steak was not soggy like some places that have chicken fried steak and the cream peppercorn gravy had a nice flavor to it. I chose the wild berry vinaigrette for salad dressing and was a nice balance of vinegar, oil, and berry flavor. Will definitely come back on my next road trip to Seattle at dinner time to try a steak.
This place was absolutely amazing. The food was so good. Im drooling thinking about it the next day. And the waitress we had Nicole was beyond amazing. Probably the best one Ive ever had. Thank you Nicole for an awesome night with our super large family tables.
Great food and good portion sizes. But we went around 7:30pm and the mashed potatoes & gravy were cold and the ribs were a bit dry as they were cooked earlier in the day. Server was very friendly and helpful although drinks took a long time as the server couldnt deliver them to the table due to age restrictions. Overall a good choice for dinner though!
The steak was delicious but everything else was just ok. Things seemed microwaved and reheated. I got the cowboy cut ribeye and it was seasoned to perfection.
The brisket burger was unbelievable!! Best burger in America!! The Rocky Mountain Oysters were pretty good too and the Hostess was a very cool young lady and made us feel right at home!! If Im ever back in the area Ill be back...
We decided on eating here after reading good reviews of the place and I have to say we were very disappointed with both the food and the service. We waited 20 minutes before getting our drinks, our server never checked on us until the very end of our meal, my husband wanted sour cream for his baked potato and didnt get it. I think for the price you should get good service and food. I had the huckleberry mimosa and all I could taste was the wine not the huckleberry flavoring. The salad and the roll was the best thing we had. We thought this would be a place we would be returning too but sadly with this experience we would rather go elsewhere.

Came here for a Graduation Lunch, best ribeye in town, great service and server. Huckleberry Lemonade was also a wonderful addition to the meal. Will go back next time in town!
This is a great place with wonderful food cooked per your order. I’ve eaten here probably 8 times and would stop more often if I didn’t live in Colorado. Your treated well by the staff and the man grilling steaks is spot on. Great food and great people is hard to find and we were thanked for coming in each an every time. You don’t leave here hungry like many other places. Treat yourself and your friends by stopping in to eat here.
Good selection on the menu I have the salmon fantastic my guest had the ribs they were great they claimed and the people were fantastic that waited on us and they really care about the veterans
Have eaten there many times and the food has always been excellent but my last trip was very disappointing. There were three of us all eating the filet. Had no flavor and was very tough I’m not sure I will go back.

Service was really good, James was awesome. But the food is definitely not worth the price. Everything is frozen, doesnt taste anything. I am sorry but living in a state like Montana you should serve fresh meat directly from the local ranchers. That ribeye was really not good at all.
It was my first time going there with a friend he spent 20 a piece and the chicken fried steak was okay but thay and some mash potatoes and fries is definitely not worth 20 a plate. Mine was okay but not the best my buddys on the other hand had a super small chicken fried steak and the potatoes were cold. Like really. I wont be going there again not worth it.
We hadnt been in for over a year. The pot roast was salty, grilled chicken dry. The bread they put on our plates was dried out and hard. They did bring new bread that was as it should be. No problem with the chicken fried steak. The bread pudding was good as usual. They removed items from the bill. I hope what ever the problems were in the kitchen they get taken care of. We have always liked to eat here.
Stopped by there for dessert. The strawberry shortcake was absolutely delicious. It came in a mason jar. The decor was very nice
First time customer...Seating was a little slow, although we were the second party in.But the attentive service more than made up for that. My order (16oz filet) was done to perfection, and I didnt leave hungry! The food quality overall was great. I will certainly go back!

The food and service are average. I did not have anything that made me think we need to come here again. I ordered the blackend chicken and salmon special. The meat was cooked very well but was lacking anything in the way of blackened flavor. Everything was over priced for what we recieved. I will give them a second chance at some point just not soon.

The service was slow and the portion of chicken breast was small and we were overcharged because we were told the prices on the menu should have been changed.
We had a great experience here. The wait staff is friendly, she fixed some errors made without asking. The food was good, we had a lot of space, it was clean. I like this place. If I ate out more, I would visit here more often.

My family had a good experience there. The staff was pleasant and helpful. The atmosphere was pleasing. Unfortunately the food I ordered tasted like it was taken right off the Sysco truck and warmed over. I dont know whether to give it another chance or not.

It took a while to get food, our app was given to someone else, so they remade it and comp it, so that was nice. My husband kept being offered refills and I had to ask for my drinks to be filled up.
Prompt greeting when we walked in. Server was very polite and explained everything in detail in regards to the lunch specials. Food was out in a short order and delivered as ordered.

Food tasted good, but 3 out of 4 of us had stomach upset after dinner, may need to clean the grill better.Didnt give up on you all tho, went back a couple weeks ago, and everything was outstanding. Tried the fried pickles, what a treat, but not as outstanding as your bread pudding with Irish cream. That is one of those couple time of year treats where I forget calories and just feel the bliss of eating it.

Was told they have the best stake in Billings . Dont have anywhere else to compare with, but I was not disappointed. Server James made sure I was well taken care of.

If I could have given 6 stars I would have. Although in an obscure out of the way location, Bull Mountain Grille is well worth the drive. Outstanding food. Melt in your mouth pot roast and even the carrots were top notch. Bread pudding better than Grandmas!!

The filet minon my husband ordered was under cooked, the bacon was rubbery, no sear on it at all. My steak had no sear and the king salmon my son ordered was very bland. The potatoes, bull skin and Rocky mountain oysters were great. It was over priced and outback is better.

It was a spur-of-the-moment stop, and a pleasant surprise. So good. Not inexpensive. But probably the best food I have had in Billings in a long time. I am so looking forward to going back.
Ordered uber 20oz ribeye with a side of sweet potatoe friesh and also rocky mountain oysters order showed up with a close to well done steak.... literally 4 sweet potato fries in the box called in to see why and the manager on shift had nothing much to say other than to call tomorrow not impressed to say the least.
Honestly the food is not great for being over priced. Baked potato is small mac and cheese was cold when served. The waitress on the other hand we had no problems with.
Reviews were good and my family had been there before and enjoyed it, but something has clearly drastically changed in the quality of food. All frozen/fake food that makes Applebees seem gourmet. Pink goo chicken nugget wings, and dry canned beef with my watery stroganoff. Didnt finish appetizers and sent back my entree for a refund and didnt order anything to replace. Staff was apologetic and very friendly, hope they can turn things around, but right now its really bad school lunch for fine dining prices.

The food seemed kinda greasy and it was hard to get a hold of our server even though there wasnt anyone else really there. She was still very nice though. I really love the prairie seasoning they put on steaks. I believe it tastes like some sort of peppercorn melange with other herbs mixed in, but it makes the steak very flavourful.

Wow, this place is one of the best restaurants I have been to in Montana. The food was absolutely amazing. Best chicken fried steak I have had in almost 10 years. The bull skins were amazing and the pulled pork was exquisite. The service was phenomenal and atmosphere to match. I cant wait to have another amazing meal there.

We stopped in for lunch and both ordered burgers. The waitress asked how we would like them cooked, but Im not sure why, as they are definitely not cooked to order.Our food arrived in under five minutes and our requested medium-rare burgers were well done. There is absolutely no way to cook a well-done burger in under five minutes (taking into account when our order was taken and the fact it was prepped & delivered), so they are basically reheating already cooked food.Maybe our experience was unique, but Im betting it isnt.

Ordered on Uber eats tonight I ordered bacon and extra cheese and didn’t get it. The patty itself tasted good but it had a lot of gristle in it. The strawberry shortcake was generic, too sweet and just gross. Very expensive, very low quality meal.

Flew in from Hawaii to visit family and found this spot. I ordered the 78 ounce steak and didn’t dare try to eat the whole thing. I was pleasantly surprised that the steak was cooked to perfection and was amazingly delicious ! Easily On of the best steak I’ve ever had in my life. The steak was huge and mashed potatoes, greens and rolls where not skimped on either . The staff was great and super friendly. Anyone visiting Billings HAS to stop here and eat, if not your missing out.
