Positives: Great selection of boots (except women’s work boots); clean storeNegatives: Very poor customer service. The poor woman getting boots for everyone in the back looked harried as she had 6-8 customers waiting on her to get boots for them. Meanwhile the two workers at the front desk, who had no line, didn’t seem to care to help. I came to return some women’s steel toe boots and get a pair in a different size. They had four options to choose from, none of which in my size (9.5), despite the website saying otherwise. I gave up on getting boots and went to return my ill-fitting ones, which I wore for ONE day. (I tried them on and they felt OK. After one day it was clear they weren’t going to work for me.) They had a tiny amount of dirt on one boot and the woman at the desk was extremely rude and patronizing about how she couldn’t possibly put that boot back on the shelf and why did I think it was OK to bring them back after wearing them. I asked how else I was supposed to know if the boot fit and her comment was that I was supposed to try them out inside my house. I left the store nearly in tears because she made me feel so inadequate. I cleaned the dirt off and returned them online.I have had incredible experiences with boot barns in TX and using the website. This particular store was extremely disappointing.

Great Job! First visit for me & I got there about 30 mins before closing time. I had a hard time deciding on what pair of boots I wanted, they stayed late & didnt rush me, the guys were very professional! I will be back for my next purchase, I was in the trussville location the store was clean & very impressive, be prepared to spend some money but your paying for quality! Keep up the good work and please stock more 11.5 shoes moving forward lol thanks guys! JM

So I went in because I was in the market for some new ariats. I saw their billboards and I was close by anyways. Went in and no one was in the front of the store and we got a hello from the back unable to tell where. The organization of the boots was hard to figure out. I finally tracked down the one employee that was there. She showed me the boots I was looking for. They were higher priced than field and stream but i looked around anyways. Tried on about 10 different pair and decided to go with the house brand cody james. I had a question about them and had to track her down again. There were several other customers she was helping also. She was very knowledgeable about boots in general and their products. She helped me find a pair of jeans to go with also. I would have given it five stars if they had enough folks to run the store in there. Speaking as an ex police officer, theres no way she could assist customers in the back and deter theft from the front at the same time. She did well despite being the only employee there and I bought extra products due to her help and product knowledge. I will return for sure. Get Sam some help in there!!!!! Love my new cody james boots and Jeans though!

The return and exchange process was so easy I always get my boots from boot barns. Im on my 3rd pair of Georgia boots in 3 years and I still have my previous pair that I use for working in and my newest pair I use as my nice pair

I’ve had nothing but great experiences at the Boot Barn in Trussville. I recently bought a pair of Dan Post Ostrich skin boots there. I checked online to see if I could find them cheaper first and I found them $70 cheaper on Walmart’s online and they price matched them for me. They didn’t have to do that but they did and for that they will keep my business.

I was looking for a pair of boots and had plan to drive about 40 mins to a long time favorite, but decided to stop into Boot Barn. One pair of boots turned into two. Then I turned around and ordered two hats. Thanks Ms. Rita for your assistance.

No one offered to help us, they were all to busy laughing and joking. They advertised Miss Me jeans and I couldnt find one pair. They may have had them but without being able to ask someone I couldnt find them. I will not be back.

Awesome Sauce service and Staff

The staff was friendly and helpful. They had a fairly good amount of boots to choose from in mens, womens, and kids. However, the brands are lower quality. Theyre definitely more of a commercial chain store than a quality western wear store.

I’ve been to many boot barns in TX and I know I shouldn’t have been expecting that. However, I did look online to make sure they had a few different styles in my size before I drove and hour to try them on. When I got there I was early so I had to wait for them to open. One of the ladies who works there parked right next me in the very front then once she was let in she was on her phone. I walked in straight to the boots and this lady pushes her way in front of me as I am reaching for a pair of boots (still on her phone) doesn’t say a word just keeps talking on her phone. They had ONE pair of women’s work boots in my size (7). Online it shows this store to carry at least 4 different styles in that size. I did have one lady try to explain why they didn’t have anymore. But after that everyone disappeared. We walked around for over 30 minutes without seeing a single employee. I could have walked out with boots, a hat and a whole new outfit without anyone stopping me. The only reason I am even giving it one star is bc I liked the regular boots they had. Don’t expect help when visiting this store. I was going to be purchasing three pairs of boots this morning but after that lady pushed her way around me I quickly decided this store doesn’t care about the customer.

Called to ask if they had a certain brand of boots in stock before driving to store. Girl asked if I had an item number. No I just asked if you carried a certain brand of boots in the store so my son could try them on. She says I dont think so. So you are not even going to look or try to find out? This store obviously doesnt need anyones business. Guess I will see if our local boot store can order it. Since they definitely know what customer service is. Roses boots in Oneonta will definitely do their best to take care of you.

I wish there was a way to not even give them one star. I bought a pair of Cody James brand boots back 7 months ago at the trussville location and they are falling to pieces. I was told when bought by sales person that they had a 1 year defect warranty. Now they’re saying it’s just normal wear and tear even though the insoles are completely gone and top half of the boot is coming to pieces. Manager said he couldn’t do anything and said he could give me 10% off a new pair. 10% off a $250 dollar pair of boots is $25 dollars. Wow now that’s standing behind your product. I am now on my way to CAVENDER’S to give them my business because Boot Barn in Trussville doesn’t deserve my business. Or anyone’s.

It was good but the cashier had her back to us and was on her cell phone, I guess she had to finish her texting. Still, we love the boot barn.

Great place to shop for all western wear. Good prices and customer service. And if youre having a hard time finding toddler cowboy hats and a real toddler belt with a nice buckle, this is the place to go.

I like the choices of work boots, but no one to help find what I needed. Took over an hour to find the right ones. The sizes are a lot different. I went in looking for 7 1/2 but now wear 8 /2s.

Very Friendly staff and helpful in making decisions for gifts. Prices were fair and overall a good deal. Look for the hidden sale tags and you can save some $$$

Little pricey on some things, but they have a lot of good products and the staff is super friendly and helpful. I bought a Justin belt and a really nice interchangeable belt buckle that are awesome. Very satisfied and will go back in the future.

Great selection and service. I put some clothes behind the counter while I continued shopping and they did not give me all of them at check out. They called me after I left and asked if I would like for them to hold the items until I could come get them. I felt like that was a step beyond normal customer service. They have a great selection of work clothes and shoes. Best selection in the Trussville area by far. Highly recommend.

The staff was super helpful in finding the right fit. Their system crashed while we were shopping and werent able to purchase the items, however they ordered them online for us with a discount for our trouble and had them shipped to me promptly. Very nice people and clean store.

Drove over an hour to the store because they sell 64 different boots in a women’s 12. Got to the store and they don’t carry 1 pair of women’s 12’s. Told me I could buy them online and if they didn’t fit return them. Before I’m dropping $200 on a pair of boots I’d like to try them on but thanks; I’ll look for a different store. Smh.

Went to Boot Barn today and had a very nice experience. Met the manager and a couple of sales associates they were very helpful and nice. Excellent selection of merchandise! Will definitely be stopping in again!

Left a cowboy hat to be cleaned and shaped, they had it for 6 days, said it was ready for pickup, they did absolutely NOTHING to the hat. I know it’s free for the service and maybe that’s why they did NOTHING, but I drove 80 miles to their store and spent almost a $100, very disappointing... LOVE the merchandise I bought!!!

I went in to find boots. The girl that helped me kept giving me work boots to try on without steel toe and I kept telling her I needed steel toe. I wanted a specific boot that they didnt have in stock and was going to order it to be shipped to store but decided to look elsewhere to see if I could find them that day. I couldnt find any so I called the store back and the girl said they had the boot I wanted in stock. I went back and they did not have the boot nor were they able to order it to the store because the order to store option was locked due to the holiday (this information was not given to me until I was going to order the boots) completely wasted mine and my familys time. The place was very clean and had a big selection. I felt the boots were overpriced but they do price match, or at least thats what they said. Who knows, that may have been something else I was informed improperly about. Will not be returning

Went into this store ronight, was welcomed by young lady at the front. Nice store, was ready to spend some money but as we were walking around the store we noticed we were being followed around by a man that worked there. We felt very uncomfortable. Left without making a purchase.

Went into the boot barn to look at boots after spending time on their website. Bought a pair at what I thought was a good price. Sales people were friendly and helpful, of course the man followed me around, thats kind of his job isnt it?The young lady there, well, she was nice, and funny and helpful. Management should LOVE her because she tries to upsell you on every accessory in the store. Had me put on the boots and walk around in them, which I would have done anyway. While I was gone she put a pair of insoles in my boots and made them terribly uncomfortable when I changed back to them. She also was kind of pushy about the Cody James boot socks..and the hooks...and the boot tree......I asked her if shed ever considered selling used cars. She just laughed.I bought the boots because I liked them, they were priced where I was ok with, but I sure wasnt expecting to have a used car lot type sales pressure experience in a western store.....
