Today, my daughter and I went and this Target like we do all the time we LOVE this store! But when, we was checking out at the register on number “ 18” older lady had really bad attitude and was really rude. She didn’t acknowledge us when we walked up on her line or, didn’t say anything the whole time we was standing there. My daughter and I said “thank you” and you have an nice day! And we got nothing back!!!

This target is never crowded, which is great if you have disabilities. It offers variety in clothes, home accessories, and groceries. I always enjoy seeing different brands I don’t see in other stores. It’s a little pricier, but it pays off through the cleaner environment and good customer service. Walmart is a better option if you’re looking for cheaper prices and more variety in sporting goods, automotives, and crafts.

Good place to shop! I love making Target runs. It is a fun activity I do to get my things and enjoy the atmosphere of the store.

The employees are always extremely nice and quick. If there is ever a slight delay they always apologize for the delay even though there has never been more than a few minutes. I appreciate the employees at my local Target. Its a tough time and kindness really goes a long way. Target in Hoover, Alabama is always a clean store. The employees are always friendly and helpful. I always enjoy my shopping experience. I seem to find new and interesting products to try each time I go in.

Great selection and helpful employees in all departments except for being out of a few of the products Id went for. Terrible attitude by customers for the majority, even when smiled at and given a friendly greeting--its truly irritating when other customers see that you dont look a certain way, etc. and they act superior to others as if everyone else is an inconvenience to them--This is the only reason I wont be returning on account of not wanting to be treated by fellow civilians as less than them.WE ARE ALL EQUAL SO START BEHAVING THAT WAY.

Just went in to buy some items advertised online as being available in the store. They would not sell them to me as they were not supposed to be out yet. WHAT?!?!

I specifically shop Target for sales. I dont do my regular shopping at Target. Many items wring up incorrectly. You have to look at your receipt carefully. Even items marked on sale have been charged as regular price. Produce frequently rings up wrong in Targets favor.

The shelves are always stocked, the associates are friendly and the stores are always clean and in order.

Just left Target getting groceries. After I was done I wanted to order a pan pizza for lunch. A guy came from the back saw me standing there and made a B line to the Caucasian guy and serviced him without even asking had I been helped. When he was done I asked him why he had passed me up and he stated I thought you were looking at the menu. News flash thats what you do before you place an order. My first mind was to return everything I purchased from them and take my business elsewhere but I decided not to and just never return. He never said who was next or anything of the sort. I am a nurse who was on her lunch break. I didnt order lunch because of this. Thanks Target for making your essential workers feel so great.

If you want a safe shopping experience youre better off going to the Publix down the road which actually enforces mask-wearing. On my last visit to Target, half of the store was maskless and the employees watched as those customers walked in and did nothing to remedy the issue. I have loved shopping here for years but am disgusted with how careless the establishment has become.

I shop at Target just about every other day. There is a location close to my home and I always find more than I went in for however, my experience was HORRIBLE last night and very frustrating as a long time and loyal Target shopper. Alice at customer service was neither empathetic or in any hurry to help me and when I swallowed my frustration and told her thank her for her time when the transaction was finally made, she said your not welcome under her breathe. I could not believe it and I will go to the Target 2 exits down for a while. The GROVE Target has not management/ training that is up to the other Targets I have visited. Thank you for this survey to express concerns. - someone who has spent A LOT of $ at Target.

I always find what I need at this Target. Staff are kind, and store is clean.

Guest Services employees at the Target location in Hoover need hospitality retail training immediately! The male employee that was working at the desk on the evening shift of 12/27/2020 was very incompetent and thats disappointing. We will never shop here again!

Better than wal-mart

Drive up is so convenient and quick. I almost feel guilty not walking in for pickup.

I was there Saturday night, and they had employees by the door making sure everyone had a mask on and if they didn’t they would politely ask them to put one on, so mad probs to them. Love this Target.

Tons of great workers keeping everything well organized and tidy. Theyre also especially nice to guests, always asking if they can help. During my most recent visit, I was asked if I needed help finding something as soon as I walked in. It was probably because I walked in ten minutes before closing and they wanted me out, but its the thought that counts. Im just going to believe that they asked me that out of the kindness in their heart.

Ordering on line and picking up in store has been very efficient for me at Target. The employee was very helpful and then walked me to the candle section I was looking for. Even on a busy day one week before Christmas the employees were all cheerful. I observed them helping another customer with a problem and they handled it to her satisfaction.

Not one cashier in sight. I was forced to use self checkout. When I needed assistance I had to walk the other side of the store to find someone who could help me. After ten minutes of this, I was finally able to check out. Then I proceed to get ice from Starbucks and the cashier was rude to me.Im believing its because Im black. I asked him could he give me a cup ice. He said when I get done doing what Im doing. I responded I asked could you and he changed his response and I left without the ice.Target, this is the worst experience Ive ever had from this store and I will not do business with you all again.Its a sad world we live in where the customer has to help themselves.

Super fast and convenient! Drive up Order was placed and ready to pick up in 10 minutes on a Saturday! Ive never had to wait longer than 3 minutes for them to come out with my items once I arrive.

My fiancé went to this store today before closing and they would not let him in. I have Covid symptoms and we have nothing in this house to eat. When I called to speak to a manager, Jill hung up on me. I informed her that since they won’t let my POSTAL WORKER GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEE in to shop, I will have to leave the house for the first time in seven days and do the shopping myself. I’m not responsible for anything that happens while I’m shopping after a Manager HUNG UP ON ME.

I have had it with so called fresh items from this location. Bread will last 2 days if youre lucky. Fruit and bakery items have a nice layer of mold on them sitting right on the shelves. We always have to make multiple trips because grocery items are never fresh. Ive been a Target shopper for years, but after giving this location chance upon chance, I have to shop elsewhere.

So a lot of people give target a bad review for lack of cashiers. The problem isn’t the store. They don’t have cashiers because the corporation won’t give the store hours. It’s payroll and anyone who’s worked should know that. The employees there work incredibly hard. They have a thousand things going on and people stopping to yell about having to wait an extra couple of minutes is pathetic really. They’re doing the best they can. The managers there have nothing to do with it. Call corporate and complain about them not having hours for payroll if you want something done. I’m proud of the workers they have. It’s a strong team.

This Target used to be great, but over the past several months, it has gone downhill quickly. There are very rarely more than three or four checkouts open, outside of the self checkouts, despite the lines being 6-8 people long, and often more. I used to only do my grocery shopping here, but I don’t anymore, because it’s just not worth it to wait that long then still have to ring up a cart full of groceries. On the plus side, it’s a very clean store, and outside of the customer service desk, the employees are almost always friendly.

My experience at Target is always a great one, and this visit is no exception. Billy helped me find a few items quickly which put time back into my day. Brittany (I think was her name) who was working self-checkout was super nice and made me laugh...which I needed being that I was in a rush and stressed from a long day. This Target trip really helped me snap out of being in a bad mood. Thanks, Target- Hoover!

Good store overall. However, this was my first time doing online in-store pick-up, and it was not a good experience. In my opinion, it would be nice if there were separate counter for online order pick-ups.

So sick of having to check expiration dates at this target. I bought this horseradish sauce on December 23rd. It expired October 8th. Last time I had an issue where the yogurt was over 2 months expired.

First time I have ordered online and picked up in the store! A pleasant experience and will be doing this more and more.

Anna in the makeup section is AMAZING!!! I had a list of at least 5 different products and she helped me find each one and educated me on each one!! Ive never had someone engage in conversation with me so genuinely. I used to shop at ulta and they usually would never tell me anything other than where I might could find products I was looking for so this was a great experience. Target has products I use and good discounts with cartwheel, coupons and redcard. Self checkout is reliable, and help is nearby if needed. Electronic items are very competitive. I like that products are seasonally up to date, the store is always clean and the service desk is well staffed.

Good selection from food to clothes to furniture. As with any of these large stores they seem to always be one or two people short at the registers. The staff are friendly and helpful when you do need them.

This is the best store of this type in the area. In particular, I felt that the staff here were friendlier here than at the Walmart down the road. One of the staff members helped me shop for some presents for me kids, and seemed more than happy to talk. Great service!

I hate the fact I called in advance for an item. I was told I could come and I was going to be able to buy it even though it was only in display item. So drove 30 miles for it. Once there we were told no, then some guy said let me see if I can get it approved. The guy approved it set around and got the item! At last minute were told no again! Thanks for making us go out of of way and wasting our time! Learned never to call and ask about anything!!!! If you don’t just see it in a store order online. Thank goodness for Amazon. Cause this Target and the one in Alabaster is pointless when it come product information and policy.

I shop Target frequently and have never been disappointed. All of the associates have been both friendly and helpful.

Felt very uncomfortable during checkout. Dude was just doing his job but I won’t return if I’m going to be treated like a shop lifter just because I’m buying a lot of stuff. I didn’t like that. At all. Very disrespectful of Target. I think an employee might have falsely tipped him off. Either way, I hate feeling bad while I shop by being stared at. I complained and was told it was policy with large orders but that’s insane and an excellent way to lose business.

Love this Target. The associates are always (mostly) friendly and are eager to help. The cleaning section needs more choices, as there are some things you can get at regular Targets that you cant get here. Target is always a breath of fresh air after going to a Walmart. My one small gripe is sometimes their price labels are off, and of course, I dont realize this until after I get home. This seems to happen a lot here.

I liked it better before the self checkout limited the number of cashiers. Self checkout cannot accept more than one 12 pack of sodas without causing an error. Otherwise, they have lots of stuff.
