The Apple Store at The Summit is a great place. The staff is really friendly and very helpful. They have every Apple product that you could want. The staff is knowledgeable and willing to help you with your problems or concerns. Please be aware that you could have to wait two hours or more to get helped. We bought our last phones here.

I had a terrible experience last night with an extremely rude employee. Back story.. after a couple replacement phones I couldn’t get my Apple Watch connected. The Apple Support App said I would have to come into the store. I came in last night about 7:30pm. A young, friendly gentleman was helping me but couldn’t get my issues resolved. A seemingly more tenured lady employee came over to offer support. We troubleshooted the issue for 20 minutes or so before she asked me where I got the watch, told me I was lying about where I got it, told me it was locked to an account, treated me like a thief, was extremely rude and unprofessional ultimately kicking me out of the store after keeping me for an hour with a still unresolved issue feeling disgraced. Very disappointed.

If you want to spend hundreds on protection plans for them to do everything in their power NOT to fix your device, go here. If you want them to do $800 worth of repairs to an $800 phone instead of swapping it out and make you miss a full day of work, go here. Even the texting apple service said I should have refused to leave the store. Absolute joke. I’ve got screen shots the Apple Store LOVED.

Our family has 3 AirPods all with the same issue. One of the ear pieces don’t work. I made a appointment but was told they can’t help me with all 3. I have to make appointments for each device. With the exact same issue. They state they are too busy. As I walk out the door, 5 associates are just standing around helping no one.

Horrible Place, very rude, I was harassed buy an employee and a summit rent a cop because of my refusal to wear a mask due to the fact I cant breath through it, I voiced my problem and concerns to the employee, I felt like I was being harassed and not listen to because of my medical reasons. They violated my medical rights.

We went in for my sons iphone. We had great service and was waited on at our appointment time. The staff was very professional and we were in and out in about 20 mins. Im on a cane now and they even brought me a chair, I really appreciate that. I highly recommend this store. Thanks Genius Bar.

I love Apple Products. The Apple Store at the Summit used to be much better. They won’t let you into the store without an appointment despite being summertime and everything else open.I have had the manager speak rudely to me in the past. I believe this store needs to be better managed. Some of the employees are better then others. Usually if u can get an appt at the genus bar they are awesome.I brought a broken Mac in once and they told me to buy a new one instead of fixing mine. This is noted in other reviews as well.Someone from corporate should come in there and find a new manager. If employees are rude it is generally coming from the top.

Took my computer to be serviced and Apple store employees told me that my warranty was no longer valid due to water damage (of which I have no knowledge). They informed me that it would cost upwards of $1000 to fix my laptop and suggested that instead of fixing the issue, I should purchase an entirely new one for a similar price. A local third party service provider fixed my laptop for $50 two days later.About a year prior, the exact same scenario occurred with my iPhone.Long story short, dont get scammed into buying a new product by this store and their employees, and take your Apple products ANYWHERE else.

Great selection if you like everything Apple. They sell iPhones, iPads, Macs, HomePod mini, AirPods, Apple TV 4K, and Apple Watch etc. They also have exclusive items only at Apple. Nothing goes on sale price hardly ever which is the reason for 4 not 5 star as you can get it cheaper at bestbuy most of the time. But Apple has the environment for learning about their products and experience it in person is the main difference. Great customer service too.

So came to the store to get my phone replaced bc it was broken and they ordered me a new phone. So when I came to pick up the phone they had already gotten rid of it. That’s my fault bc I showed up later than I was supposed to so I made an appointment and when I came to replace my phone they didn’t order a new one. The staff isn’t helpful at all neither is the manager. Never coming here again. Can’t even walk in without a mask as of 08/11/21. I’ve taken 3 days off work and still don’t have a replacement for my broken phone

Went in at 3:30 to get my phone fixed (I have apple care). They told me I could change my phone out and they would send my phone to be fixed . Instead what they did was take my phone to the back and could not fix it. I did not get a replacement phone until 7:30 . My SIM card is still not working. They gave me a loaner phone (iPhone 8) I have an iPhone X . They do not care about your time as a customer, this took over four hours and no one seemed to care. Please reach out to this store and help them

Scheduled an appointment today and drove an hour and half . Just to be told they didn’t have the product. 🤔 . When I made the appointment I told them what I wanted. UPDATE: I went back and the staff was extremely nice.The Apple Specialist really don’t know what they are doing. They just sit around and talk to each other before helping a customer. My AirPod Pros got sent to the wrong address because of the Apple Specialist so now I have no AirPods that I gave them to repair. Try to avoid this store! They just bark orders at you if you aren’t wearing your mask or at the right spot. No one is friendly at all.

Do not use this store. I spoke to Apple Care online and the Regional Apple Office and both confirmed I could purchase a battery from an local store for self install on a legacy MacBook Pro (mid-2012 model), no longer serviced my Apple. I contact this store after the regional store confirmed they still had my battery model in stock (You cannot order legacy parts online). This store said they are unable to sell batteries, or any other components, they only perform maintenance services. I told them what the main Apple Care said and the regional office but I was told they don’t know store policy and they cannot do that.

Horrible customer service they don’t care about their customers my phone won’t activate because manufacture defect they refuse to give me a replacement device where i have to wait 5 days I explained to them that i’m traveling in a few days if they can expedite it but they didn’t care and whats worst i asked to speak to a supervisor maybe he can help me but sadly when the supervisor showed up she was talking to me like she didn’t care about my situation and asked me if i want to Reschedule in a different day or leave it for five business days, ☹️ Sadly This will be my last time dealing with this store even if its the closest one to me 👎

Make an appointment! Apple Genius was very knowledgeable. He checked my iPhone battery; moved around some things to free up space, did an update and even drew this Senior Citizen a picture to explain the iCloud! I didn’t need the picture; but I had fun watching him draw it!

The first step is admitting you have a problem lol...and have probably 20 more devices amongst the family at home. Got help syncing all my tech finally! If you had to evacuate from a hurricane (I live on 30a) make the best of a Genius Bar close by. No matter how imperfect some aspects may be from Reading reviews I promise you if your closest store was four and a half hours away they wouldn’t matter in the least! Good service to help in a pinch!

It’s too complicated to fix your laptop here, comparing to other locations. I had same battery problem fixed in Ann Arbor, MI within 2 hours. Birmingham location requires 3 visits, with 7-day drop off.Updates: ended up taking only one day to get my laptop fixed after dropping off

Apple stores are always fascinating to me. As an Android phone user its amazing to see the business model that Apple Inc utilizes. Not a lot of options, limited technology offerings, closed ecosystem ect., however the greatest thing about Apple is the tremendous customer loyalty. This particular location is small, made up of your average millennial Apple store employee but they are helpful, at least before covid but have become crazy restrictive since covid-19 you really expect by the way they treat you it would be better for them to be dressed in full hazmat suits. But as covid-19 subsides Im sure theyll return to the type of store they were. Since my entire family is all Apple users I have no choice but to frequent this store!

I had a problem with my phone after I repaired the glass. I stood in line for a few minutes to talk to someone at the Genius Bar, but due to the long wait time, I was put on a call back list. I hung out for a few minutes after and looked at a few models of new iPhones and iPads. The store associates were really friendly and Mark specifically helped me out when comparing my old iPhone to the newer models.

I did everything I was supposed to do...bought my new phone online and scheduled appt go pick it up. The security guard barked orders at everyone from the bench ( he was really mean), the guy who got my phone wasnt nice, he hands me my phone and says nothing. They wont help you or answer questions. He did tell me I needed the new charging cube for my new phone. Gee thanks, jerk. Thats the service you get when you buy a new $1000 phone.

This store is wonderful. I have been to this location twice . I’m very hard of hearing and have hearing aids. Each employee that I talked with had an iPad and they would text questions and answers with it. So my communication with them was perfect. They also know their cellphones and can explain to you what ever you need to know . This store was packed with customers and I was still able to get in and out in less then an hour. Thanks

Drove all the way there and was told I couldnt get help. Mind you, Apple Tier advisors sent me here. When I get back home the Tier 2 advisor stated that I had proper documentation and they were supposed to use this since the buyer was an active duty solider. He was trying to send me the PDF receipt but they denied that and said we needed the physical receipt which is hard when the solider is in another state🤦🏾 Needless to say this Iphone 12 mini hasnt been in use for almost a month. March 2nd will make it an official month.

Short white guy with spiked hair was very rude . Just wanted information regarding how to make an appointment to have phone looked at because it seemed to be hacked. He stated these people have an appointment which I can understand because of COVID, but he completely ignored me and had a security come over to me. Picked up an online Express order; there were about 20 people ahead of me. The security officer directed me where to go, he was apologetic about the line, apparently it had been like that most of the day. I was literally prepared to be there at least an hour.From the moment I got into the line until I walked out of the door was ONLY 17 minutes!!! Talk about surprised!! The Apple employee was very polite and professional, he even sent me an email for my boss with information about a business account.

Everything about apple support is absolutely horrible. I sat on the phone and NEVER SPOKE TO A REAL PERSON. Despite requesting a real person MULTIPLE times. I was never connected to the store personnel which is what I actually wanted. Apple support is an entire effing nightmare.

I went in to get some help fixing my Apple Watch and they are more worried about trying to sell me the newest phone or latest watch instead of trying to solve the issues I was having... their “ Genius“ bar was no help what so ever. I received more help from the online support system then they offered in store.Update: I fixed my watch (with zero help from this Apple store) it works perfectly fine now and I didn’t have to spend the money on a new watch and phone. Personally I would take the extra hour or so to drive to the store in Huntsville.

I went to the store after they reopened from the COVID pandemic. Overall I was very pleased with my visit. I had to come in because my iphone wouldnt turn on. They were able to fit me in even though I didnt have an appointment. Im taking a star off because the person who worked with me at the Genius bar was not too helpful. Im not even sure if he tried everything to fix my phone. The sales person who helped me purchase the new SE was extremely helpful and friendly. If I was coming in just to purchase and only interacted with her, this would be a 5 Star review. Of note they do have new policies in place: 1) Masks are required, 2) They take temps at the door, 3) they only allow a certain number of customers physically in the store the rest need to stay outside. In summary, I would return here again and recommend this apple store to my friends.

I’m from Huntsville so I’ve never been to this one before until yesterday, and let me say I was blown away by the amazing friendliness and customer service i got compared to the Huntsville location at bridge street! These people actually wanted to help me and didn’t shoo me away asap like Huntsville always does. Kya was amazing and so sweet!!! I loved her friendly, positive attitude! Fred was a great helper as well! Very patient and understanding. I definitely will be back whenever I need to!

Great customer service, set me up with a genius appointment amidst Christmas rush within 5 minutes to fix one broken AirPod that was under warranty and instead of making mail it of they replaced both. I was so pleased with the service to follow as well and ended up walking out with with a plan to come back in a week to purchase 2 new iPhone 11 pros through them rather than my service provider because not only was the deal better but the service from the people was to. Kudos to the Apple employees at the summit in Birmingham they are truly amazing no matter how busy and I never once felt rushed!

I went in to purchase a new IPhone 11 Pro and had an overall positive experience. My Apple employee was very kind and answered all of my questions very professionally. I was coming from a Pixel 2, and had been an Android user for years with my last iPhone being the 4S.My negative would be I felt very ignored and looked over upon first entering the store. I had to find an Apple employee and explain my intentions to purchase an iPhone out right.Overall I would recommend this store. I just suggest you make an appointment, or expect to potentially be ignored and not helped.

Need a closer store. Gardendale AL would be a great place to consider. The Summit location is WAY too packed. Not enough seating for those with a handicap who cant stand too long. The wait is a bit long to get help unless you have an appointment already. The staff is knowledgeable and very friendly! Love the diversity here

I was in the store for 20 minutes without anyone welcoming me. I stood by the MacBook Air laptops during this time searching for someone to come over. 10 employees walked by without making eye contact and asking if I was finding everything alright. If you need Apple product you’re better off driving 3.5 hours to the Madison ms location because you won’t make it 3 feet into the store without someone welcoming you. I truly felt like they didn’t care about the satisfaction of everyone who walked in.
