This location is my favorite. They are friendly and extremely helpful. Even when theres a long line they dont rush you, they are thorough in making sure you have everything you need and are all set.
This Sherwin Williams provides good customer service and has a helpful staff. They are great in matching paint colors and providing answers to general paint questions.
The guys working there are knowledgeable and offered me great advice on the type of stain and color choice
The store was easy to find and the assistance I received was great.
Greeted as soon as I entered the sales rep was very polite and took care of my request within minutes. Very impressed and I love the paint color I chose.
We recently ordered wallpaper from this location. Tyler was helpful, courteous, and efficient throughout the transaction.
The Birmingham location offered curbside pickpup of all the supplies that I needed during COVID-19. The individual I spoke to on the phone was very nice and helped me think through all my needs to get my home project completed.
I really wish that i can give this store 0 starsReally don’t know how to deals with customersBeen customer with Sherwin Williams for the past 5 years and have my contractor account with them, never had a issue with all stores except that one in BirminghamThis is my second issueFirst issue that i had they gave me unsealed gallon and spilt all over in my front seat and floor and the store floor because I thought gallon was sealed 100% and I didn’t want to make a big dealThats my second issue today at the store with Loura (the manager) we had a problem that we purchased with the supplies and went to swap she didn’t want to do it.Really wanted to share because of the attitude...:
The store was filthy inside. Leaves were all over the floor and piled outside the front entrance. Small pieces of paper were also spread around on the floor. The wallpaper books were not organized and the area was also a mess. I looked into the back room and saw another mess. Boxes and paint cans allover with some cans on the floor. It was definitely a safety hazard back there with an accident waiting to happen. I spoke to the female manager about the condition of the store. She said nothing. Im sorry I didnt get her name, I would have if I had known I would get this inquire. I was there January 6 Monday afternoon. Management definately needs to visit this store.
Abiding by all the Covid guidelines!
Been coming to this store for the past week, they only have one employee that works the store and she is slow on top of it. Never get greeted or acknowledged, just gotta wait and hope. Doesnt seem to be much care at this store in a prime location. Seems very poor management for a store that Im sure has very high rent in Birmingham. Huge miss Sherwin!
Great service
Walked in the store, no one greeted me. Which is one of my pet peeves, but I usually let it go. When I stand at the counter and there are three people standing in the back, just staring at me like I don’t exist, then it kinda becomes an issue. I finally end up up waving my hand in a “ uhm hello, I’m here” manner, only to have one of the men point to someone else who I guess will be with me when he feels like it. Turns out only two of the guys in back actually worked there and the other gentleman who gestured must have been a long time customer, because the conversations they were having were all much more important than what I came in for. I realized that the younger man who actually worked there was taking care of a different customer that must have walked in while I was looking at paint samples prior to me stepping up to the counter. Even so, he did see me. Just standing there obviously waiting, and said nothing. He was mixing paint and having a random conversation with the previously mention long time customer, no recognition of “ I’ll be right with you” or “sorry for the wait”. Finally I told him what I was looking for and he got what I needed quickly. The whole time I felt like was interrupting his conversation with the other long time customer. I’d ask a question, he’d answer, then turn his back right towards the other guy, talking about people they knew in common, or whatever it was. I was a second thought and an interruption. I don’t usually post things, but seriously. Very poor customer service. He did answer my questions, and get what I needed, but not handled well and did not make me as the customer feel comfortable. I’ll stick to the royal oak store. (Not that the Birmingham store will really care or read this and care).
Quick and friendly service. Knowledgeable staff.
I signed up and paid for an in-home color consultation for September 3rd from 6p-7:30p. Never recieved a phone call from the consultant and she never showed up for the appt.
I recommend the Sherwin-Williams in Birmingham. Quick, friendly service.

Good selection but was out of stock of a few items that I was interested in.
The paint is great and the service is also great
Very professional and helpful staff. Great products.
Was at this store to buy paints. I was in the store for 20 mins looking at various paints and colors. Even though there was only one other customer, none of the staff spoke a word. Very poor customer service. Walked out with out buying anything.
Great service, knowledgeable staff
