I have been taking my heads and blocks to this particular place since 2010. They range from Kias, to Acuras, to Ford 302, and I admire the work of Allen ( foreman ) and his crew. I like how the crew always shows me when there is a problem, and how they going to go on about it to fix the problem. A very long time ago, they short blocked a B18 Acura and that car ran forever and even drove it back and forth to Miami FL a whole bunch of times. I dont know what I and a lot of people would do if they ever retired and closed the doors. The only thing I would say to a prospective customer is to call ahead as they are always slammed packed, or make sure you have a spare car until they can fix you up, because it can set you back ( time ) a little bit. But call Allen first. Other than that, their work is flawless and they have never let me down. Good job Allen and Crew you guys are the best in Birmingham and cant beat those prices!!

I give 2 stars because they did eventually replace what they broke on my cylinder head.They are cheap, not thorough and 2k miles of driving later my chain tensioner snapped because these fellas didnt find it necessary to mention anything. They kept my head for months and basically tried to tell me I brought the head in with all the plastics parts broke. Use at your own risk! Costly mistake!
