I am quite late with this review. But last month I set a reservation to get my new sports muffler attached to my car. I am by no means a car expert and I had no experience dealing with exhausts before. So I took my business here as it was recommended by many. I was happily greeted by Shawn who immediately told me what I was dealing with, the time and the cost of the work. He had it done in such good time. I was very nervous when I picked it up since I had no clue what it would look or sound like. When I saw it I was very pleased, keep in mind the new muffler is significantly smaller than my stock, so Shawn took some extra piping to make it look perfect. I then started my car and was incredibly happy, it did and still does sound amazing. All for such an amazing price. I would give Shawn 10 stars if I could and I highly recommend!

Shawn knows his stuff. I needed a bung welded in my header for a WBO2 sensor. He got me taken care of and didnt have an attitude about me asking questions. Always lots of appointments because of his good work.

Really fun guy to talk to. He did a muffler delete on my 4runner today and it sounded exactly how I wanted it to, honestly a little better than I expected. If you set an appointment a day or two in advance he will be done with whatever it is ur doing by at least the end of that day. I’ll definitely be back if I ever mess with anything else on my exhaust.

Very friendly owner who does amazing work. Welds are perfect and he painted the pipes with protective paint for free. I love the sound and he is willing to work with me if I want to change the sound. He let me keep the mufflers if I change my mind. He even worked for an extra 3 hours after closing to finish up my welds. I wouldnt go anywhere else.

He did a great job, took his time with bends to make sure they were right. Everything looked good underneath, symmetrical and level. I highly recommend this shop he does quality work and a reasonable price.

I am so grateful for the Exhaust Shop, Sean took care of my hanging exhaust and when I say took care, great care. Turn around would have been a week, he saw my desperation to get back on the road to continue working and fixed it right then. I would have been in a world of trouble if I had hit just one more bump. Birmingham roads are not the kindest to suspensions. My car no longer has a hanging exhaust and she is reconnected to her mufler and quiet as ever. I have to check to see if she is really running. . I took my car to a different exhaust shop and I was not happy with the work that was done! Then I found this shop!! Took my car told the guy what I wanted and where I just came from, he did everything I wanted and expected and more! Price is absolutely reasonable! Great guy, very knowledgeable about what he does! He took the time made sure I was happy the whole time and even asked if I needed anything while I was there. I have a Honda Civic and it is finally up to my standards and a lot of it has to do with this GREAT SHOP!

I recently took my Dodge Challenger to Shawn to get some exhaust leaks fixed. The car had always had some vibration and noise issues since I picked it up new. The dealer couldnt figure it out and I had just about given up on the car, and was about ready to get rid of it. Shawn discovered the exhaust system was all jacked up, and was resting against the frame rails and the factory X-pipe was hitting the bottom of the floor pan. Shawn took the time to redo and correctly align, level, and repair the factory exhaust. when I picked up the car I could not believe it, its a totally different car, smooth, no vibrations, no rotating noise, no vibrations thru the shoulder harness or shifter handle. This is the fourth car of mine that Shawn has worked on and every single time the work has been outstanding with fair pricing. I highly recommend the Exhaust Shop in Pelham for any Exhaust work you may need!

Had my fiancé leave her mini there to get some custom exhaust work done, he did a professional job from removing parts and keeping them like we asked, to the installation and even the painting over the welds to keep them from corroding, will definitely be going back to get work done on my car in the future.

Great shop. My wife was told at a main shop that the exhaust needed several parts replaced. She went here for the work and was pleasantly surprised by a few quick welds that solved the problem much more cheaply. We will be going here in the future if at all possible.

A lot of shops talk down to you, or act like your questions are dumb. That doesn’t happen here. He did some performance exhaust work on my truck a couple years ago and was so pleased, I went back again today to put new exhaust on my new truck. He stopped working to chat with me, gave me advice, even told me to go pick out whatever I want online and he’ll put it on, because I could probably order it cheaper myself. Scheduled an appt on the spot for next week. Done deal.

Took my 2016 Scatpack Charger to do a muffler delete, lets just say Shawn was very knowledgeable and professional at his work and craftsmanship. Re-worked my entire exhaust, and it took some work. The previous owner of my car put a piece of junk of an exhaust system up with terrible welds. Shawn pieced together a new system for me, custom welding several pieces to make everything fit just right. I have never seen better looking welds then were done by Shawn at the Exhaust Shop. The most amazing exhaust work Ive seen for such reasonable price. I have always had trust issues when it comes to letting people touch or work on my car. I love to detail it on a professional level and want everything on it to be perfect.Shawn has gone above and beyond all my expectations. Not only could he fit my car in for a new exhaust system in that week, he also managed to get it done on the same day! Dont let the outside of the shop fool you. It may be a little dusty here and there, but that is the result of all the beautiful hard work that is put into the exhaust systems. It was a disaster what they did. Not only was it done poorly, it didnt even last a full 3 years.Shawn came to the rescue and fixed all their errors. With his work I received:- Someone who listened to exact customer demands.- A full explanation of what he was going to do.- A quote to which he was really close when done. (Some places end up way over original quotes)- Brand new exhaust brackets that prevent the exhaust from moving or rattling.- Picture perfect welds that are painted over to blend in and prevent corrosion.- An exhaust system that is level at every point (Yes, he proved it with a leveler)- Flat black painted pipes to blend in with the underbody of my car where they are normally exposed.- Weld points on the exhaust tips, on top of the factory bolts, to really secure them and keep them perfectly aligned.For all that, the price he quoted me is by far more than reasonable. I had one already that was done poorly by a previous shop, and I wanted something better, something that sounded better, and something that looked better. Me and the owner spoke the same language when it came to how he would go about making they system, and when all was said and done, the work truly exceeded my expectations. The new sound has made me fall in love with my car all over again. The shop is awesome and clean, the owner is very friendly and will do whatever it takes to satisfy your exhaust needs, and the prices are reasonable for the quality of work. This may not be the cheapest shop out there, but its DEFINITELY the best. I wish I could give him 6 stars!

He makes you feel at home, has good recommendations and was extremely patient with me and the 100 questions I asked.He showed me every size/style tips for my dual Magnaflow exhaust, showed me the muffler prior to installation, and has great communication/update skills.He did work on my 2003 Tundra about 10 years ago, and he did a great job on that as well. GREAT JOB SHAWN!

He double booked me and then made me feel like it was my fault he messed up. Completely unprofessional and no organisational skills. He called me names I cant post online. The bottom line is do NOT use this shop. The owner apparently doesnt want business.

Ive had a flowmaster muffler put on as well as a tip on my last truck. I could tell how much attention to detail was used so on my new truck i had shawn do a full exhaust system. He will do whatever you want and make it better than you could imagine. Ill be going back for EFI live tuning.

Went today and in less than an hour we had my catback to downpipe connection changed from a 2.5 flange to a full 3 welded connection, for just $60. Service was awesome and I will definitely go back if I need anything else!
