Its a corporate store not your local quilt shop prices are fair selection is good knowledge is decent

My daughter in law wants some curtains made for their entry door side lights. She found fabric she liked at the store in Rosedale and found out the store in Bismarck had it available. So I was able to just walk in to the store in Bismarck and ask for it by the product number. They brought it to me, I had it cut and out of the store in minutes! Great customer service!

OhMyGawd is this THE spot! A crafty crafters paradise! Prices a little above my SAHM budget BUT those clearance/sale items....BOMB Bro BOMB definitely my new go to place to eye candy all the craft stuff :) & the staff? Hands down top 5 best in town!!

This afternoon I made a trip to JoAnn Fabrics looking for fabric for my quilting group. I was not disappointed. The fabric I found was 50% off and I got more then I needed. All the ladies working their today were great.

Social interaction with the checkout girl made up for the picked through diamond art selection. Good sale on the dots. Unable to find any help when we had questions, though.

Great sales and product. The only thing that is lacking is customer service. Example, I want to shop for fabric for a star quilt. I got all my fabric ready. I bring it up to get cut and there were three ladies helping at the cutting station. A manager was on the left, Wanda middle, and another lady. Wanda was very grumpy and had poor attitude. The other lady went to h help a customer and had a remark thats why we put out up top so that you dont climb up there.

I come from a city that has multiple Joann locations. It was such a heartbreak to move to a place with only one location, and to have the employees at that location be an absolute nightmare. I sent my husband to pick up an item for me. Unsure, he asked if the store associate would speak with me on the phone. She did. Our call was crystal clear, no interference. I asked for a specific item by name, price and item number. She then proceeded to try to upsell me a model that was $20 more. I politely declined and continued with the model I wanted. She told me they had TWO in stock and would have the manager bring it up. Moments later I see our card charged for the more expensive model! I called my husband and spoke with a different associate. She was just plain rude, exclaiming that they did not have that model in stock. I attempted to explain that I had LITERALLY just spoke with a different associate who said you actually had TWO in stock. She constantly spoke over me. I finally told her, well then my husband should have been told he was being forced to buy the more expensive one. She then yelled, WELL I CAN RETURN IT, BUT I CANT GIVE YOU IT FOR 89.99! I had never, not once, asked her to discount the item in any way, shape, or form. She is damn lucky I was not there in person, had she yelled at me like that in person... Corporate phone call here I come.Sad that a company employs such horrific people. I guess that good help IS truly hard to find these days.

Got exactly what I was looking for, quickly and efficiently and everything was on sale or I had a coupon. Love when that happens.....

Messy, empty shelves, where did craft supplies go? - now I see premade items and decorations instead, do have material, everything is on sale because regular prices are high otherwise, coupons online can use in store on phone

Very helpful people and they had exactly what I wanted.

I found it lacking and hard to find anything. Everything is squished in there. Need to reduce and open it up more.. Lower shelving would be a start... Not warm and inviting. Staff was effecient and friendly.

The 2 stars is because of good store inventory. Politeness and courtesy of staff would take it down to negative stars

Very nice, clean and organized inside. The employees keep to themselves unless you have a question. Its very quiet in the store and not very busy.

They have a great selection of material. I love that they have outdoor fabrics. I do a lot of crafts. If I had more time, I would start another hobby. Not enough time to get what I have now.

They went the extra mile with us after we had to put down our 16 year old dog. They had taken care of her for the last five or six years and they all ways treat u like family. Hats off. More vets should do the same.

Will NEVER return to this store or spend money with this company. I had the unfortunate experience of hearing THREE employees trash talk education, teachers, and specifically FACS classes/teachers. Ill give you one guess as to what my career is. You have the right to an opinion, but you DONT speak it out in the open at your place of work---especially when I spend school dollars AND personal dollars at your company. Well that ship has now sailed. Those women need to go to a customer service class. Worst part is that the manager on duty was one of the women trash talking my profession---also, in front of a young child. Guess who influenced her in a negative way?! Way to go Joann Fabrics! Way to support teachers and education--get rid of that program if your staff doesnt believe in it or wont follow it. SO disrespectful. Corporate will be called on Monday and I will share my experience with every educator friend I know!

It has grown so much since the old store. They have very helpful staff and they were so personable while they were helping to cut out my fabric. 😁 And having one dressed as a unicorn for Halloween made it even better! 🦄

Great selection of fabrics, but a lot of things are overpriced and can be found cheaper elsewhere.

Caught some great sales and love that I can use my coupons off of the Joann app on my smart phone.

I shop here quite frequently as I am always getting coupons in my email! Often 50% ones. There is always a sale going on and everything I want is always on sale! Sometimes its hard to use coupons because everything in the store is always on sale! They also have sewing and other craft classes through the week for those intrested in learning to sew or quilt!

Great place, great prices, and great selections

Cashier was rude. I came in with my mom. Cashier told my mom to look for a coupon on the app then got an attitude because it was taking awhile. She kept huffing and puffing about it.On a good note the ladies that helped us with the fabric was nice.

Sold me single-sided interfacing instead of double-sided.I specifically asked for double-sided. The employee assured me that was what I was getting.It wasn’t and my project was ruined. Hours of work for nothing.Really mad and disappointed. Never asked the employees here for help, they clearly have no idea what they are doing.

Great store for crafting, fabric and home seasonal decor. I purchase many Cricut items here, beads and Jewlery making supplies. The staff is very friendly.

Overall Our last experience was good. However the staff are can be wishy washy with their attitudes. Some days are good and some are bad.

I love this place because they are open on Sunday, unlike Hobby Lobby. Also, more coupons available online. Great selection of fabrics, some different yarns and things than Hobby Lobby as well. My only beef is they dont carry any Yarnology or Sewology products.

Fantastic. I was in Menards and needed a heavy duty carpet staple remover. Menards didnt have one and Google showed one at JoAnn Fabrics. I had not even thought about the store as a possibility however after thought it did make sense because they have tools and supplies for reupholstery. Absolutely fantastic.

Rude and soooooooo staff. More than once, Ive overheard inappropriate comments and conversations by the staff. With Hobby Lobby right around the corner (and the other fabric store in town closing) youd think theyd up their game a bit. After reading through some of these reviews, I think Ill take a break from JoAnn Fabrics force while.
