Shopping at Big Lots is better than watching TV. The staff generally doesnt know where anything is， but everything is so affordable its alright. The clientele is a gang of rascals， me included I suppose. One time I was in there this lady cut everyone off in checkout because she had a cab running outside. So nothing is terrible. Its just like an extended twilight zone episode with great deals. A cashier recently tried to get me to go get another item because she over rang it and she was too lazy to void it. Classic. But Im not trying to deter anyone. I shop there all the time and will continue to do so

They had everything that I was looking for for my new place AND it was all reasonably priced. The crew that was working were great! Very helpful and kinda hilarious. I love humor. Keep it up guys!

Aisles are open and comfortable. Good prices on anything for the house. Some name and others not. Even a good selection of food.

The kids are bummed out about the lack of toys. There were some toys but the pickins were slim. Same with shoes, often finding one of a pair and the other nowhere to be found. We did find stranger things, mickey mouse, star wars, Beatles themed tshirts for 8 bucks each. Found small childrens recliners that was cute and made decently strong. The womens clothing selection was not up to date, very basic which makes your local family dollar look like the mall in comparison. The cashiers were lovely, nice ladies. They were Sociable and really informative. A nice chit chat visit.

They didnt have any backpacks small enough for step daughter

Went there on 12-24-20 around noon. I purchased a 65 in black entertainment stand for my TV. Price wasnt bad at all-which was $169 (not including tax). The man that rung me up was very helpful and he told me about the rewards club there in which I signed up for. And the young gentleman that helped me load my box up onto the truck was a good spirited young man. He was respectful and funny. Thanks guys!

The store was a little chaotic but they are rearranging. From what I seen it looked like they had a bettet selection of items. The staff was very friendly. The pricing wasnt bad either.

Walked in and asked if they had masks for the public and the older lady said yes over there so we grabbed a pack and all 5 of us put them on and put the pack in our cart. The lady followed us down each isle of the store until my 9 yr old said why is that old lady following us . I said Im not sure and we got too the checkout and I asked if the young native worker if they have masks for the public and he said sure we have them right here, i told him what the old lady said and how she followed us around the store and he was so apologetic that i will go try their store again

I am trying to understand this stores purpose in a world with Walmart. It reminds me of Kmart, only not as useful believe it or not.

Management is horrible. David does not treat his associates nicely at all. He cuts peoples hours when he don’t like them. He was gonna fire me because I called out 1 day because I was sick. I had to quit because David was not treating me with respect & was telling every associate n manager that he was going to fire me. I am a very good worker n didn’t do nothing wrong. Hope all is well for big lots.🤷🏽‍♀️

Love going to Big Lots for great deals

Very Dissatisfied!! This was our 2nd bad experience in their furniture department. The first experience was a sofa that we paid for but they could never get it in. The second experience was a fireplace display we paid for but were later told it was promised to another party waiting for this fireplace to come in the store which became out of stock. They then offered the display to the first party after we had paid for it!

Cheap stuff with some selections u cant find anywhere else in the city.. Friendly staff! Especially love DEE. She goes the extra mile to help out the customers!

This is the Big Lots in South Bismarck, ND.I shop there every week, for deals on most of my boring, mundane, everyday things.Shampoo & Conditioner, (Im a long hair country boy, so thats important to me), dog and cat food, reading glasses (I break or lose at least a pair a month!).Food, (my favorite section, full of US, and International brands, spices, sauces, cookies, pickles, canned meats, whatever!... Its always worth a look to see what they have!Holiday decorations, Furniture ( both inside and outside types), Garden supplies, Bedding, Kitchen, OTC medicine, Slippers or sandals ( Im a big fan of both, depending on the season), the list just goes on, and on, and on.Small selections, but at great discounts!Ive been shopping there for nearly 20 years, and have learned when you find something unusual, better buy more than one!Thats the only downside to Big Lots, steady supply is not a reality.If you buy a great (US, or International) food, better get back and buy some more, cause their stock is thin.All the better, though, they always have something new to discover, for cheap!

Whenever we visit Bismarck we make sure to shop here before returning home. They have great deals on food items we enjoy. Dried fruit, nuts and canned goods. Weve also found super deals on things like slippers and scarves. Clearance items are abundant after Christmas, beginning of spring and autumn.

We found exactly what we were looking for (patio furniture), and the customer service we received pertaining to the furniture was great! With a sale going and the weather being nice, they could have used more cashiers. The lines were long and the front of the store got congested, but well be back. They were doing the best they could.

When we walked in we were greeted and they offer us a cart and asked if we needed help. Throughout the time we were shopping different people offered to help us if we needed it the whole experience there was really good. We enjoy the shopping experience

Any place that sells good quality toilet paper and paper towels for under $5.00 a pop for a nice sized package has my business!!!. For me, spending over $10 dollars for a pack of TP or paper towel s is well, flushing good money down the toilet or throwing in the trash. There is other money wise goods to be had there . Keep up the good work Big Lots!!

A lot of their prices are higher than in the regular strores..they never seem to have much of a selection...The employees are very nice, though

Great prices for what you need. They had everything we had on our list. Everything was easy to find. Pleasently surprised and satisfied!

Everyone around here loves shopping for bargains. Big Lots is not considered an upscale sort of place like Ross or Gordmans but if you come in here and poke around you can find some really nice surprises like a big jar of all-natural sauerkraut with no artificial preservatives for just $2.50. Like I probably wouldnt buy any tech items here, but its worth trolling through here on a regular basis to remember exactly what you can save on by buying here - like toothbrushes and stuff.

I BOUGHT A POP UP SUN SHELTER TENT FOR $169.99. IT WAS SO FLIMSY THAT THE THIN METALFRAME BROKE WHEN I WENT TO POP UP THE CENTER . PLEASE DONT WAIST UR MONEY.

Got a couch from them.. 3 weeks later we noticed the zipper on a cushion is popped open so the cushion is being revealed! What seemed like such a good deal on price of the couch, has now turned to be disappointing!We bought the warranty thats nothing but a joke! We are being told since the cushion doesnt come off, we have to haul the couch into the store, keep in mind we have a 2 door car!, for replacement. Which is all good, Im glad we can get a replacement. But what a pain in the butt!!!!!! A 3 week old couch and its already having defects!
