I’m more than happy with my experience @ eckroth. Arnold has been pleasant and helpful with regards to my guitar choice and I’m glad he suggested the Eastman guitar, loving the quality of it and isn’t as expensive as the top end guitars out there but certainly can match with the best of them, sound wise.

I went in looking for a piece of recording gear a couple months ago that I didnt know much about. I was helped by Arnold who not only was engaging and friendly, but also very knowledgeable about what I needed. This little music shop has a lot more in it than you first suspect. Very knowledgeable staff, they take the time to help you find exactly what will fit your need, and will demo anything you need. The staff will even work with the non-musically inclined to walk them through the experience. Very happy and will be back!!

Really helpful employees that want to make sure you get the right instrument and the right equipment. Very knowledgeable people. We came in looking for a piano and the options available were plenty and the employee spent time going through the differences but understood what we knew about the pianos and gave us the necessary information to help us make our purchase.

For quality its a great instrument find. But not a bargain find. SHOP around I found percussion kits for kiddos are found at a better price else where. Also the people working here seem to have a Im a better musician than you attitude. Not a good sales pitch.

I had a violin rented from here. The bow frog was completely black from the oil of the previous owner touching the area too much. It shouldnt be too much to ask for at least a working instrument,

A little expensive but you get what you pay for, and the quality is second to none. Just wish they would carry B.C. Rich guitars. Maybe one day, until then they still get 5 stars for the amazing service and selection. Ill give them ten stars if they get some B.C.s!! 😀

Bob was very knowledgeable and experienced in what he does. Took my new bass in for a set up and he looked at it for no more than 5 seconds and let me know of a big defect in it from the factory, let me know that he would try his best but it would most likely need to be replaced. Luckily Jackson guitars was bought out by Fender and Eckroth is a Fender dealer. Bob handled the warranty claim right away, kept me well up to date on the progress and time frame on my replacement, and called right away when it was done. Overall perfectly handled from start to finish. Oh and he tweaked my replacement to make it just right at no extra charge!

I stopped in on my way through in search of a guitar and left with an amp! I wish I could remember the gentlemans name, but he was very helpful and very knowledgeable. A nice selection of guitars and amps as well as other instruments and sheet music.

I recently purchased a Cannonball Tenor Sax from Eckroth Music in Bismarck, and the experience was absolutely sublime.While I went into the store with a rough idea of what I wanted, the sales people really helped in my selection process. They let me demo pretty much any horn I wanted to in the store for as long as I wanted to, and when you are putting down $2500+ for a horn, its reassuring to have at least had an hour or two with it to know youll be comfortable with it.It was an easy experience and it felt like the staff cared about my selection as much as I did.

Helpful, and seemingly fair priced services. Bob had a great sense of humor. Always appreciate a clerk with humor.

Every instrument that I get from here I end up hating. The $200 acoustic electric ukulele that I bought from them had so many issues and they would not give me a refund or switch it out with another one. They just said they would fix it and I let them. Three days later it’s having the same issue.

Always accommodating with fast repairs, needed greatly by a band student like myself.
