You couldnt ask for a more welcoming environment for those getting into tabletop or card games. Between the friendly staff and the friendly atmosphere they encourage its easy to just meet and learn from anybody there. Due to the small volume ordering can be a little tricky, but the staff always goes out of their way to not only try and get in whatever you want, but at a great price too! Easily my go-to place for anything 40k and Pokemon related, both of which Im hoping they continue to expand on in the future!

I drive 100 miles just to stop at Parallax. Friendly staff and fantastic community atmosphere. Definitely recommend for all your gaming needs.

I drive 80 miles almost every weekend to play warhammer 40k here, Staff is knowledgeable about questions, easy to approach and very straight forward about custom orders in this time of troubled shipping and limited stock, while still fostering a great community of war gaming and table top players and a thriving MTG and Yu-Gi-Oh crowd.

Nice folks...... all levels of players. Still has the problem of letting people eat in the store. That should not be allowed. But other than that really nice place.

Parallax games was kind of disappointing. There was hardly anything in the store, the staff however was extremely friendly.

Fantastic game store located in downtown Bismarck. Their selection of Warhammer 40K minis blew me away, and their prices were great. The staff was really friendly, and super knowledgeable. I wish that I lived ~500 miles closer, if I did they would absolutely be by go-to gaming store.

Sadly what I am sure is the only card shop in Bismark, the staff is amazing, the store is really cool for how small it is. And they offer a lot of help for those learning magic.

As far as game stores in the Bismarck Mandan area this is easily the best option. With a decent size selection of both strategy and party games of high quality you are bound to find something you will enjoy. The staff members are both friendly and knowledgeable and happy to help you find what you are looking for. Also the community of players that shows up for tournament that are run by the store are also friendly and welcoming to new players.

Awesome store, they have a big game room you can sit down and play with friends or make friends. They also have the new releases in cards early which is cool.

Every time I stop in Bismarck, and Im looking for new game to play this is where I stop. Never once left here without a smile. Staff is chill, knowledgeable, and helpful. Its nice to make a purchase and have no doubts about what your getting and where your money is going. Theyve got a really nice area in the back to sit down and play the board games youve bought or brought.

Way better stocked than either shop in Minot, and the owner was awesome

There are some employees that seem tightenit, exclusive, and when you talk with them during their group conversation its disruptive.Like theyre waiting for you to leave, providing quick answers to your questions (almost dismissive).Rather than engaging, its awkward, as theyre some that are impatient/aggravated waiting for you to make up your mind.But there is a good open minded, enjoyable, employee there.

Last time I visited, they were still at their old location which was much smaller. Despite that, they managed to pack the place with as much content as possible.Their new location is even better than the old store -- now they have ample space to keep all their stuff, plus they have all kinds of new stuff in stock that wasnt there last time.Definitely stop in if youre into D&D, MTG, or similar nerdy content. Theyre sure to have something youll be interested in.

Nice little shop, went in with a couple friends and just browsed without cash on hand, had a nice time looking around and the staff was super nice and cool despite us not buying our first time around. Will definitely come back for some dice and figures!

Everyone is really friendly and it has a great atmosphere. I was in Bismarck for a day for work and I happened to find this place. I stopped in and was greeted very warmly by the staff and I had no trouble joining the games that were being played by the customers. I will be back next time Im in Bismarck.

Players who dropped early got their choice in promo but those who stayed for the whole thing get stuck with a random draw... How messed up is that. Reward the drop and punish the finishers. Most stores dont give promo to anyone who leaves early. I wont be back.

Solid local game shop with ample room to play. Board game night happens every wed starting at 630. They have other events throughout the week as well.

Has quite a few items that you would have a tough time finding elsewhere also they lowered the price of MTG cards (and possibly others) so that the cost with tax was $4.00 which I thought was cool. My only complaints are very minor and cant be fixed anyways.

The people here are very knowledgeable and friendly and willing to help and answer questions.

This place has awful customer service. They treat every customer like a thief and wont let you look at anything without staring at you. Then, they tell you that you cant touch certain items in the store because you might shoplift something. The guy who works here most of the time (I dont know his name) is extremely rude as well. Mostly everything in this store is overpriced. If you dont like being judged and called a thief, I would suggest to shop elsewhere.

If youre a nerd and love to collect board games or cards of Magic the Gathering or Yu-Gi-Oh or Pokemon this is the best place for you they also do tournaments I would go and check it out if I was you

Great owner and will order what you need if they dont have it. Playing magic there can be a little off putting as there is no official judge and my experience is that the players on fnm are adamant on rules that are inaccurate

A nice little board/card gaming shop with a nice space for people to place. Last time I was there they were having a Magic the Gathering tournament.

There is so many nice people like i went to a yugioh tourniment on saterday and i lost all four rounds i went there with 2 decks and left with enough cards to make about 4 to 5 decks fun and worth the money i go there all the time if i need help
