This pharmacy is the best! When you have a question and need to call them, the phone is answered quickly and by a PERSON! No annoying robot who gives all sorts of info I dont need, or press this button, then that button, to only be put on hold forever. Blacksburg Pharmacy has plenty of friendly staff on hand, and are very anxious to help. I am so glad we switched. It is always a plus to be able to supporting a local business that cares about our community.Wish I could give more stars, like ten or twenty, they deserve them.

I have been getting my prescriptions for about 5 years after my daughter recommend them. The staff is so friendly and a pharmacist is always there to help if you have a question, even when theyre busy. I would definitely recommend them!

What can I say about this local business that would do it justice! Probably nothing, but here is a try. The people who work here are amazingly friendly and service oriented. The business is locally owned. They are helping our city to immunize thousands of people against COVID. They care about their neighbors. I mean, the really care. It’s not just a letterhead slogan. To be clear, I’m just a guy that picks up a prescription from the pharmacy once a month. I don’t have any other affiliation with this business. But they have made such an impression on me during my time in Blacksburg (8 years) that I felt compelled to leave this review.

I came in from out of town and stopped at the drive through to pick up a prescription for my mom. The pharmacist recognized the name & came over to the drive through window for a friendly chat (wow), then dropped everything to help me handle a refill I needed for myself when I asked him what to do about the way every Rite Aid in this part of the country has permanently closed. Normally my mom gets per prescriptions delivered and just raves about this place, all I know is the good vibes and stressless service here are definitely contributing to people’s health and well-being.

They are all amazing and answer questions I have and also deliver is amazing. THEY ARE SO MUCH BETTER THEN OTHERS I HAD. IM SO GLAD I SWITCHED TO BLACKSBURG PHARMACY. I cannot say enough great things about the people at this pharmacy and the wonderful customer service. For example, I had a prescription filled late by vet one evening and the pharmacist rushed to complete it and even offered to stay after closing if I couldnt get there. Everyone I have spoken too and worked with have been so kind and go above and beyond. I try to pick up other items that I need while I am there to support this local business!

Excellent Pharmacy AND Service. They go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. Id always used grocery store pharmacies - and the pharmacists were great. But, when I switched physicians to Direct Primary Care, they recommended I try Blacksburg Pharmacy. Im so glad I did. Not only are the prices fair, but I always try to go there for any non-prescription items they carry. They even took care of my Flu shot! My wife loves the fact that they deliver. I just picked up some medicine there and had some questions about it. They handled them with ease. I was extremely impressed with their professionalism. Highly recommended.

I visited yesterday and had a great experience. One of the workers saw me hanging around the nasal sprays for a couple minutes and asked if I needed help, which I did. I never knew there were so many kinds of nasal sprays! He then grabbed one of the pharmacists to answer all of my questions. She was great; she even ordered one of the medicines I needed that they did not carry in stock.

Everyone is always so pleasant, nice and helpful. Just recently, they didn’t have my prescription at the Blacksburg location so they said they could order it and have it tomorrow or, if their Christiansburg location had it, then they offered to have it sent over and said it would take about 20-30 minutes to have it sent over. I popped into the grocery store to kill some time and get a few things, wandered back over 15 minutes later, knowing I was early and figured I would just wait until it came. But, when I walked in, they waved me over because it was already there and waiting for me. You definitely don’t get that level of service everyday. You guys are great!!

What a great pharmacy. I needed a personal fax sent for a job, they were willing to send the fax out for me. No, trouble and no questions asked. Also you cant beat the impeccable service!

The gentleman who started this pharmacy is amazing, and the community is richer now that he’s training his employees to follow in his footsteps. I’ve heard him catch dosing errors, seen him scramble to find coupons and discounts for pensioners on new and expensive meds, he’s a strong advocate of preventative health in the community, with his contactless drive thru during COVID before anyone else seemed to think it was a big deal. Sen and the Blacksburg Pharmacy team are awesome and Blacksburg is lucky to have them!Plus they do compounding, which is cool.

I have not personally been in here. However, I accidentally mixed this pharmacy up with a different one in town, and they were still so wonderful with helping me. I am so shocked and disappointed.. I read alot the reviews before I came here today. I am not a established customer so they wouldnt fill my pain medication. Its for the current customers only. Said they called and left a message with the Dr about my prescription being denied but didnt speak with anyone. I called before I came here to make sure they had it in stock and where I was a patient at. They told me that they only had 62 of the 90 that I needed, but would order it and it would be here tommowI gave them my information and she told me to bring my prescription card when I came. I am so upset.

There are many reasons I love this place.I started going there because I wanted to support a local small business.I keep going there because the owner is awesome, friendly, and remembers me. I switched from Rite Aid to Blacksburg Pharmacy after Sen left. He is by far the best pharmacist around. He knows the medications and interactions and always takes time to answer my questions. He looks for coupons to help offset the cost of the medication. The rest of the staff are friendly and competent.

I have a lot of experience with pharmacies. Ive lived and dealt with pharmacies in Florida, California, D.C., and New York City. I never thought Id find the best pharmacy ever in Blacksburg, Virginia. The staff at Blacksburg Pharmacy is friendly, kind, and so fast; Ive never stayed in there longer than fifteen minutes, and my usual wait time is about five minutes. I used to have trouble finding one of my medications and nearly had a panic attack every time I had to fill a prescription for it, but since I found Blacksburg Pharmacy, that anxiety has disappeared. The pharmacist keeps track of what I take and always keeps my medications in stock. You can tell that he runs the business well; his customers are happy, the store is always clean and neat, and his pharmacy techs dont seem harried and annoyed the way techs do at CVS and other chain pharmacies. They treat you like youre a person, which shouldnt be something I have to note in a review as a superlative, but at most pharmacies youre just another problem someone has to deal with. At Blacksburg Pharmacy, youre a patient with legitimate needs that the staff really cares about fulfilling. Theyll answer questions in person and over the phone in as much detail as you need, order toiletries for you personally, and deliver prescriptions to your house. And you can feel good about supporting a solid local business. Ive never had a better pharmacy experience, and Ill be sad when I graduate, move, and have to switch to another place.

Blacksburg has long needed a professional pharmacy. Sen has provided that facility.I have practiced retail, professional, hospital and vet clinic pharmacy.I wish that I was young enough to join him and his staff as they provide attentive, capable care for our community.

This is by far the best pharmacy I have ever been to. Incredibly kind, helpful people- ALL of them! Ive never had such a wonderful experience with a pharmacy. Ever. After the frustration of dealing with Kroger and CVS, I decided to give them a try- and I will never use another pharmacy as long as I have access to Blacksburg Pharmacy, because they are incredible. Fast, kind, extremely knowledgeable... everything you could possibly ask for. And this is every single visit (and generally go once or twice a month) for two years. Got my flu shot there this year, it was completely painless. I cannot recommend these guys enough!!

This is what a pharmacy should be! Staff that knows what they are doing and cares for their customers! I can only use a certain brand of one type medication and they went above and beyond to make sure they had it for me. They also deliver to my grandmother who can no longer drive. I will never use another pharmacy!

Blacksburg Pharmacy is without a doubt the best pharmacy that I have ever been a regular customer of. I only go in once every two months and it is unbelievable that the staff remembers who I am. When I needed to update my insurance information it took about 5 minutes and I was all set up. When my girlfriend or I just have a common cold or something similar we feel comfortable going there and simply asking what they recommend. As a student I always went to CVS or Walgreens because that was where my parents would go back home...now that I have lived in the Blacksburg community for much longer, this is far and a away the best place to go. I almost never review a business but seriously cut out the big chains and go here if you are a new member of the Blacksburg community, you will not be let down.

This pharmacy has set high standards for pharmacies! The best customer service I have had for the 2.5 years we have been in the Blacksburgs area. I am so sad we are moving! It is hard to find people that remember your name and the name of your child as easily as the staff here. We are military and leaving the area but honestly, this pharmacy was our go to from the start when my daughter needed compounded anti reflux meds at 2 months. They hold a special place in my heart!

Simply put, this pharmacy defines what it takes to receive 5 stars. My family visited from Kansas a few weeks ago and we had quite the medical emergency. Sen and his staff were more than happy to sit down with us, talk through the medicines, and cover the likely symptoms more thoroughly than the doctors we had already seen throughout the NRV area. They even followed up after my family returned home to be certain we were still receiving good care. This was going way above and beyond what Id ever seen at a pharmacy!I can absolutely attest that while d never gone to this pharmacy before the accident, I will never go anywhere else. The staff is extremely kind, helpful, and knowledgeable - something you will not receive from other pharmacies in the area. Parents, if youre sending your children off to college for the first time, tell them to go here and they will absolutely be treated with the care every person deserves!

While head pharmacist at Rite-Aid, Sen caught an error in a prescription-renewal from the doc (just an off-hand oh, I see your Dr. upped your dose, eh? What? No!). It wouldve been a major issue, if not caught. He and his staff are consistently friendly and professional. And since I live near that N.Main FoodLion mall, going here is a no-brainer for me.

Ive lived in Blacksburg for almost 30 years, and the service that Sen and his staff offer is hands-down the best Ive expereinced during my time in SWVA. Genuine, caring, and informed are just a few adjectives I would use to characterize Sen. He actually takes the time to get to know your name, your particular medical needs, and provides suggestions/insights that complement your doctors course of action. On top of the caring service, as others have noted Bburg Pharmacy is a local startup. Give them a try, ask your doctor about them, theyll all say the same thing: They are great people over there.

I dont often write reviews but Blacksburg Pharmacy is wonderful. Im a Virginia tech student and Im only here for another year so I was hesitant to switch from CVS but I really wanted to support some local business here. Every time I have gone they have been kind and answered all of my questions. Its clean and they have almost everything you would find at a big chain pharmacy. Its also right next to Maple Ridge, Colligate, and a lot of the other student housing neighborhoods which makes it super convenient. The parking is also much easier than the CVS at university mall and they are open on sundays.

Excellent service. Saved me a ton of money by going out of their way and finding coupons.
