The menu is so diverse! Wish I could have had several things! I did settle on the cauliflower crust pizza, chicken pesto. So fresh tasting and amazing. Super loud inside and busy! We enjoyed the picnic tables outside. Heaters on one side of patio. Apple shine and apple cranberry ale tart and refreshing. Perfect spot for after the Ham Lake disc golf park. Looking forward to a return trip to try the EL π Added a pilsner glass from Invictus to our collection. Even if you are not a beer fan, its a fantastic spot!
Was quite excited to finally get a chance to visit here. Quite popular and a great partnership with Tipsy Steer for food. Really enjoyed th Hanleys Cold Pressed Coffee Porter. Robust coffee flavor and full body without being overly heavy and filling. Gimme That Razz Sour had an EXCELLENT raspberry finish and the tartness helped to balance the sweet berries. Really enjoyed our lunch too! Lots of different brews to choose from and match with your food. Great sense of humor in the brew names too. Cant wait to come back!
Delicious, great space, clean and friendly atmosphere. You feel welcomed and there is a personal touch to everything. I had a great time and will be back.
Have visited here a few times before and thought it was really good, so last night we took our daughter and son-in-law there for their anniversary. The evening started out with us going to the bar to order 4 beer flights. At which point the bartender said Oh just what every bartender wants to hear . How rude. Isnt that his job!! The food was good but there was a fly doing the backstroke in my daughters beer.
Rode our bikes to @invictusbrewingco and got another stamp from our @pubpassmsp @pubpass great beer, great outdoor atmosphere and friendly bar tenders! We tend to run into rude bartenders at a few places so it was a welcome surprise when they were super nice to us today (7/29 at about 2:30) we had a great time and will be back!
Very good food, beer was ok. The beers I tried were decent but nothing blew me away. They were out of a lot due to covid supply issues. Had the bacon pop/skewer things which had a great sauce but the bacon was squishy for me, I prefer crispy. The milkshake is like the most decadent dessert thing ever so beware. The pizza was good and came out fast and the outdoor seating had a nice setup. I also didnt enjoy the ordering with the QR code thing, order online, then someone brings your beer. Kinda weird.
Since I cant speak on their other brews, Im going just below middle of the road since Ive only now just tried the seltzer. Definitely not good. It has natural flavor (according to the packaging) which reminds me exactly of the flavors I used to get when I made e-juice back in the day. Its very flowery. It doesnt taste natural at all, plus the added sugar isnt the best choice in my opinion. I wont be trying the seltzer again, but if I come across a good hoppy brew, Ill give it a try and update.
Awesome place! Lots of good beer, and great food right inside the same building :)We sampled a good portion of the beers they had available, nothing bad, but our favorites were the Blonde, the Irish Red, and the Amber. All of them were delicious.Really cool setting too, looking forward to coming back!
First time! Pros and cons. 1. BLAT- too much money for little plate. Barely any tomato or avocado. Bread was hard. The building and atmosphere was cool. Had a flight - 3 of the 4 were good. Onion rings were gross, you cant taste the onion ring. Fries were ok, nothing to crave for.Cool concept of how to order. I will go back to try something else.
I had never been to this place before, but I needed a charge on my car and this place popped up as having Tesla destination chargers so I gave it a shot. The food was excellent! We had burgers and tacos, and both were top notch. Not much of a beer drinker so I cant speak to that but just the food and EV charging alone is worth the visit. Thanks for the charging! :)
Went when there when soccer matches going on, big mistake. It was so loud inside you couldnt carry on a conversation and the atmosphere felt like the school lunchroom. Went out to the patio and that was a little better. Menu board to order beer was small and confusing and I felt I was holding up the line because I didnt know what I wanted. Would be nice to have a list at the table. Ordered pizza $15 and was very good. Ordered onion rings to share and for $9 I got 4. Very disappointed in the quantity for the price but the quality was very good.
This is a perfect location if youre nearby at the SuperRink or Sports Center, but otherwise its not worth the out-of-the-way drive (also, getting to the taproom is difficult if you are headed east as their is no left turn available, you have to brave your U turn skills in front of on-coming traffic). Beer is below average for a craft brewery, so much that the rest of the experience is tainted. There is a fundamental lack of kids beverages available at the bar (theres only water), although the room restaurant does have more options, but you have to wait in a separate line, which is inconvenient. The ambiance is nice and theres plenty of parking. There also is food present. Service was friendly but slow and inattentive. There are electric car charging stations.
Great beers and seltzers. I really like that they have a wide variety of drinks on tap as well as for sale in Growlers/Crowlers. They may not always have the same beer on tap but its nice to be able to have variety and to try something new!
Really fun spot that had both great beer and great food! You cant beat that... They dont just have beer, they also have cider and seltzer. And on the food side they have burgers, sandwiches, pizzas, tacos, etc etc and UNIQUE appetizers - which I personally really appreciate because sometimes you need something new and different!
The Sour Razz beer was awesome not to sour and just right! We ended up heading home with a growler.
Great food and beer here. Fun indoor and outdoor seating choices. I sampled the Buzz Blonde and Hazy IPA....both delicious.
Finally! A unique destination in Blaine. And its definitely a destination. Both the beer and food are excellent. Hubby and I both got a porter. Nice, dark, but not too chewy. Ill probably try the amber next time. The Tipsy Steer has hit upscale bar food right on the nose. The burgers are perfect. The patties are hand made, without too many frills. Whatever they do, I hope they keep making the burgers this way. Excellent quality beef on a nice bun, good cheese, tasty bacon, and a good barbecue sauce. The roasted asparagus pizza was very nommable, with a surprising flavor and a great crust. Well be back, for sure!
Our son suggested this new venue. We ate at the Tipsy Steer which in this brewery. The roads difficult with construction. We enjoyed Bang bang shrimp, Bavarian pretzel with melted Gouda cheese, shortrib grilled cheese, pastrami sandwich (my husband said was too spicey,) stars & Stripes pizza, raspberry chic sandwich, hazy sunrise sandwich and a chocolate dream malt with cupcake and brownie garnish. You order/ pay and they deliver to table. Flo who took our order was great! So Informative. Great personality. Parking lot busy but large eating area. The guys got the beers only 4 to choose from. Also Pepsi products. Fast service, great food
Great brewery with solid beers! Prefect location with the AMAZING FOOD!
We love Invictus! We have been coming since shortly after opening on May 22, 2018. It has been awesome to watch them release more and more beers. They have a good size selection now and often have limited releases. Good deals and host lots of events, mondays are half off growlers! Havent left disappointed, the beer and staff are always awesome and helpful.
Good beer, really interested in the ciders and sours, but was a little disappointed in the hazy and IPAs. Loved that you could order from the table and get food too.
Before you come here you must know. *Seat yourself* Stand in line to get drink* and *Stand in line and order your food* They only bring the food to you after you order. ITS A BREWERY!!!For being as busy as it was last night the lines were short. Food line is always going to be longer than the drink line. Staff was very nice, polite and knowledge in case you didnt know what you wanted or had the taste for. I was impressed. We ordered the pizza and it was ok although the tomatoes look like they had gone bad but they put them on the pizza anyways...
9 weeks late...We LOVE this place. And are sorry it took us 9 weeks of quarantine to get great tap beer.Their beer π€€π - I have not really been disappointed with any of it. Not a huge IPA guy but am a big fan of their citrus IPA; their kΓΆlsch and blonds are great and their Amber is one of he best Ive ever had. Finally ordered takeout of a crowler each of their amber and their new and improved Apple ale - both incredible. On top of great beer, incredibly friendly owners and staff.Pease give this place your business, especially now! You wont be disappointed and youll be supporting a local business during this difficult time.
Great service, beer, and atmosphere. Best burger I have ever hadππΌ
Theyre increasing their variety of craft brews. I was thoroughly impressed with their new Mango Brew
This was a first time visit to a well recommended, via word of mouth, brewery. Walking up it had a full lot and great layout. Must have been 13 TVs all with various sports. The brewery boasts an in house kitchen which makes everything from apps, pizza, burgers to malts. Kid friendly and open. Only criticism is that, in comparison to other breweries, the beers/seltzers didnt wow me. Overall, great place to get a decent drink, good meal and enjoy a sports bar like atmosphere without the other local bar flavor.
In between Hockey games some of the Hockey families stop here for lunch. The food is amazing and service was great. Highly recommend Bang Bang Shrimp and Armadillo Egg appetizers. Well definitely be going back again when were in the area.
Great brews as well as great food from Tipsy Steer. Following all COVID-19 protocols from what observed, be sure you get a reservation though.!Definitely a good place to check out if youβre into IPAs and Hazyβs.
Curbside pickup is very easy. I was able to order online, select the time I would be there, and has awesome beers delivered to my car almost as soon as I pulled up by friendly staff.
Rented the private area with my family tonight. Great service, good beer. Loved your West Coast IPA, the hazy was pretty flat flavor wise; expected more juicy/tropical flavors. Overall a great night. Probably the best beer youβll get in the area, but could certainly use some friendly competition.
The outdoor patio is nice and the beer was good. Food from tipsy steer was also great. Friendly staff from both places.
Was very sad to find out they are no longer selling the hard seltzerβs on tap. Wonβt be coming back. Very disappointing
We had our rehearsal dinner at Invictus in July of 2019 with food from Tipsy Steer. Our guests loved the food, beer, and atmosphere! We were amazed by the teams incredible customer service and how welcoming everyone was. It felt like the staff was truly excited for us to be getting married the next day! We are so glad we selected Invictus and Tipsy Steer for this special day and we would highly recommend them for any event!
Yes! This place is awesome. Great beer, awesome atmosphere, kid-friendly, and Tipsy Steer serves amazing food right there! I had the Sunny Po Boy (yes, made with sunfish), and highly recommend! Staff were friendly and the place was clean and well decorated. Such a fun date night
A nice place for a meal and some good beer. We stopped in and had a quick meal. The small plates were great to share and they were awesome. You order at the register and then find yourself a seat. It seems quite kid friendly. There were high chairs and a kids menu and board games, etc to play. We sat at the bar and the staff was nice and helpful. There are a few televisions so it can also be a place to catch a game too. I also used the Tesla chargers out front which is a nice opportunity if you need it.
This place has excellent service as well as tasty food. One of the best restaurant around town. The food served quick and the rates are reasonable. Highly recommended.
It was really good. I only had 2 of theirs beers, both were good. The short rib grilled cheese sandwich was really tasty. The order yourself, we will bring food system worked great. It was quick and hassle free. Recommend
Food and beer was good, cider the best!
We have been here about 6-7 times already, every single time the food has been excellent! Very unique menu with some very creative offerings. Highly recommended!
Great beer selection, something for everyone. The Hazy Pale Ale is a personal favorite. The accompanying restaurant (Tipsy Steer) features amazing meat in their food selections. Great brick oven pizza. Tons of space, casual dining atmosphere, very friendly staff, even the brewing crew is very personable. Has a great beer hall vibe. Definitely one of the best brewery experiences in the Twin Cities.Recommend this to every craft beer drinker and meat lover.
The beer is good, but the food. Wow. The food is the reason this place is amazing. Our entire table loved everything they got. Good atmosphere and a nice patio as well. It can be very busy if there is any kind of tournament going on at the Sports Center so be prepared to wait for a table. We will absolutely be coming back.
This was our 154th brewery me and my wife has been to. Food was good, sad that you cant do flights, I like the dΓ©cor and the building, people were nice. They had the football game on tv.
Great beer and delicious food!!!! I would recommend the bang bang shrimp. So yummy! The beer is really good and they change the beer menu. They also have games to play, and amazing shakes. I would definitely recommend trying this place out.
Saw the raspberry chicken sandwich on the menu, sounded amazing. Ate it, infinitely better than expected. Beer was cold and flavorful. Staff was absolutely amazing! This might be the new spot!Edit: 1 year later the food is amazing and the staff is even better. Make sure you get to know Jordan. Hes hilarious.
The place has a nice vibe, standard industrial decor which is common in brewpubs. Very roomy, beer hall feel to it. Big bonus for having food on premises. But the point of brewpubs (at least for me) is the beer, and it does not stand out...yet. Some brewpubs figure it out as they go and improve along the way, and my hope is this place can do the same, as they have a lot of potential. Ill try it again down the road in hopes they step up their beer game.
I have a confession, I am a beer geek; so when I went to Invictus I was expecting a beer that was pretty good for a brew pub. I couldnt have been more wrong. I have had a better Farmhouse before, but in Fort Collins. I have had a better Belgian Strong before, but in the San Diego area. I have had a Barleywine before, but well, you get the point. The beer was outstanding and yet still approachable for the non-super beer nerd. Long story short, this is one of the best breweries in the state and yet somehow my fellow beer dork friends never clued me in to it.Side note, the burger from Tipsy was outstanding as well.
Great beer, great food, great atmosphere. I have had a lot of beer in my life and have been to many breweries and this place will not disappoint. A must go if you are a beer lover. We went back the next day after our first visit on a two day visit to Minnesota. We for sure will come again the next time we come to Minnesota.
Great beers, food, and atmosphere. Love their dedication to environmentally-friendly solutions from plentiful charging for electric vehicles down to their paper straws. Gastronomic innovation and class.
A wonderful family friendly brewery with great beer and delicious food.
Quick service, amazing homemade specialty type food. Kid friendly. Even sat on the patio and could let him run around. Been here a few times and love it! Canβt wait for another shake. They are wild!!
Really liked there food selection! Milk shakes were fun!! Cool spot to meet up with a group and chill.
Beer was surprisingly decent for a new brewery! Food was great though shouldnt be associated with the brewery since it is leased out. Food was pretty good and the steak we had was very tender and delicious. Not the best beer overall but will return to see how they mature!
Nice building. Good beers..good food
Went here for my twin sister and my 21st, and were very impressed! Good variety of beers, quick service, and awesome food from tipsy steer as well. The prices are very fair for a brewery too! Thanks for a fun night on the town!
We had an extraordinary time at this spot. We enjoyed the nice atmosphere and the menu. The waiters are very personal. Iβm glad we ultimately managed to visit this spot.
Some solid beer, nice enough space to socialize with a big group.Myself and basically everyone in our party were hoping for more approachable beer and not just ipas. The Amber was the best we tried. The kolsch was sold out. I think this says something guys... Make more easily drinkable beer! Get ahead of the trend thats coming around again.
They have a great deal on beer flights and burgers are a bit above average. Definitely worth stopping by the for the pretzel and cheese appetizer.I forgot to close my tab and was able to do so over the phone and received a text confirmation immediately. Excellent service.
Brought my hubby here for date night. First time here, and it wont be our last. The beer was amazing, the food was great, and the service was top notch! Angie and Jordan did a great job working behind the bar - made great recommendations on both beer and food. So happy to have a brewery / restaurant of this caliber in our neck of the woods!
Cool place, beer was good. Prices were not ridiculous like some other tap houses. Did not have enough time to try the food but it looked good also. Will have to go back.
Frank the Tanks honest review.Invictus has an incredible location in the north metro. Their taproom and food options make this a great location from a date to a family gathering. Kids and games are a plus as well. They are consistently busy by appearances no their parking lot butWhen it comes to beer, they are in their infancy. Today was the third time coming since they opened and they are already showing signs of maturation. I believe with time we will see great things from this place. Do not let the lack of options on their beer menu deter you from this place, its already getting better. Tried a saison tonight that blew me away, and Im not even a Belgian guy.Give it a shot. It gets 4 stars for now but barely as a 5 star brewery is in the making with great food, great staff and a great atmosphere.
Friendly staff, delicious beer, food was excellent, I recommend the armadillo eggs and the milk shakes. Cool atmosphere. Parking can be tricky if they are busy, same with getting a table as they are first come first serve. Bathroom was clean. Looking forward to visiting in the warmer weather to experience with the outdoor portion.
Good beer, great food from Tipsy Steer and friendly staff. Great stop.
Brews were average nothing outstanding of the six we tried. Left with a growler of the Amber Ale. We are not into IPAs so maybe those beers are better. Food was good especially their shakes. Nice place otherwise. If you have to go to soccer center, it is a good place to stop for food but not the best brewery.
Amazing IPAs! There were so many choices. Great atmosphere with lots of natural light and also very family friendly. Food from The Tipsy Steer all looked so delicious. I had the chips and Gouda cheese, they were delicious. Highly recommend overall.
Ive been here twice now this summer (summer of 2019). Both times I had a great experience. Im a person of habit so both times I had the Stars and Stripes pizza (pepperoni and sausage) and it was delicious. My beer of choice was, Everything in Its Right Place. Its a perfectly balanced hoppy beer. I highly recommend it if you like hoppy beers. Both times I visited this place the food came out quickly and I had no issues getting a beer at the bar despite it being somewhat busy both times. This has become one of my favorite spots to eat in Blaine. Good food. Good service. Good beer. Good atmosphere. What more can you ask for?
Awesome space, very nice, enthusiastic bartenders but the beer is simply terrible. We ordered a flight as well as a full pour and couldnβt even choke them down. I really hope the brewers can up their game because the location is super cool.
Great environment and the couple beers we had were good! 4/5 only because of service when ordering a beer. Bartender was chatting to someone while I was standing there and didnβt acknowledge me. Instead, chose to keep talking. Then the other bartender decides to help but just waves me around to a different area without speaking. It was kind of rude and somewhat confusing. I donβt want to feel like Iβm lucky to spend $7/beer. Customer service goes a long way, especially with the number of breweries people have to choose from.
Cool place. Good beer. The Ale was good. They also have food which is nice. I recommend the onion rings!
Friendly staff, interesting menu with lots to try, good beer... whats not to like!
Great brewery. Oatbusters pale ale was a real treat. Came back and had some #1 beers. The Sound to Superior IPA was fantastic. The James Brown Ale is one of the best brown ales Ive had. The staff is great and very friendly.
Good stuff! A little more seating space would be great! Great beer selection z good food and kids are welcome. The bar is big and fashionable, clean restrooms and seating area. Lots of parking spaces available, even electric charging ports available, with preferential parking. Very friendly, knowledgable staff. Keep up the good work. More seating will earn you a 5 star rating.
The food came really fast, especially considering it was busy. My coworkers and I greatly enjoyed the food.
Just visited with the family for a quick bite and a beer. The gluten free pizza crust was delicious and the Thai chili wings had fantastic flavor. Blaine it on the rain was a really solid Amber beer, perfect for a early summer day. Happy to have a family friendly place with great food and beer in Blaine!
Craft beer plus food. Im not big into craft beer but I liked the flavor I tried. Not a lot of flavors. Had the pizza and it was very good. Ate on the patio in the evening. Noise from planes flying over. Prices a little high but I reall was impressed with the food as was my guest. The food made it 5 stars for me.
Great beer, great service. Love the T-rex Stout! They need to keep it on year round!!! Tipsy Steer is here, too! Good selections, decent pricing, great food! All the best of a food truck... but indoors!
Loved this place! Clean, well made beer. Not a lot of variety yet but someone told us that more is on the way. The building is very open with lots of seating and there is a restaurant attached that had awesome food. I would highly reccomend this brewery!
