Came in looking for any pokemon related cards for the kids birthday. Gentleman at the counter made it seem like it was an inconvenience that I was even asking.Another customer which was probably a regular asks basically the same question and he goes into detail and laughs.Decided to take the kid elsewhere.

Older male at the counter (Who I assume is the owner judging from the reviews from others) during the height of the pandemic was sitting at his desk watching videos with no mask on. Keep in mind, this is during the height of the pandemic back in November/December when there was no vaccine. He also did not have a sign up on his shop saying mask required, so he obviously does not care about his own safety, let alone safety of his customers that keep his business afloat.We were going to go into the store, but judging by how annoyed he looked and how he was not wearing a mask, it made us very uncomfortable, so we decided not to even go in. He did not seem to be happy to be there at all. I think its time for him to retire.

I hate to give bad reviews but Ive never had a good experience with this store. Never really stocked and most of the time if they did have product i wouldnt buy from here cause the customer service is so bad. its never inviting and dont dare ask for anything cause youll feel like your being inconvenient for trying to buy something. I wanted to love this store cause its so close to my work. if you want a good store go to table top tournaments or rising star or punchout gaming.

This place smelled so horrific that I had to leave early so my friend could puke in the parking lot. It was a terrible experience for both my eyes and my nose. I can’t even describe the ungodly smell that was presented to me upon entry. It was as if the owner had dead animals in the back room or something. I will never come back here again. My nose simply won’t let me. Also there were basically NO comics here whatsoever. I can’t believe a place like this is allowed to be open.

Was a fun place to play. Prize support was above fare for the modern Saturday games.Nice store lots to choose from. Wish they had more cards in display case to see

Awesome place.The owner helped me pick up some MTG booster packs for my younger brother. I had no idea what was out there but he was very informative and friendly. I will be coming back

Try to stop for paints during business hours only to be told theyre closed. Very inconvenient and unprofessional.

Came in and was impressed with selection and friendliness of the cute old man behind the counter. Excited to make this my new card spot.

New to the area looking for a good card shop and this one is not it! Stopped in to check it out, look over singles, etc. Older guy who I assume is the owner sitting at the counter watching videos on his computer barely looked up to greet me, and I was the only customer there. I spent some time at the counter trying to peer at singles - would have been great for him to offer help at looking at binders, but he was too interested in his videos. I felt like I was bothering him in his store. Not much of a selection for sealed product and no supplies.Still decided to give it another shot on a weekend and see if its any better. Went in with about six people in the store total. Same old dude working the counter just watching his computer. One customer asked if he had some specific MTG singles from Ixalan, but slightly mispronounced the name. The owner pretended like he had no idea what he was saying as they went back and forth and then loudly exclaims Oh, Ixalan, you were saying it wrong! when anyone could clearly tell exactly what he meant. The customer looked embarrassed and quickly left. That was enough for me - terrible customer service and very little product (seriously, Target has a better selection of sealed product and at better prices) makes this place a no-go. Hopefully a better spot opens up in the area.

Wonderful Game Store. Plenty of selections and events. Magic the Gathering events every weekend, comics to sort through, board games and plenty of fun for the whole family.

This guy is great. And so many tables! Selection is a little low right now, but he is stocking up quick. This is definitely my new go to game store.

I have been to this location two times now. Both times I have no idea what I am doing. Just a lady picking up good stuff for my nephew and son. The gentleman behind the counter has been so nice both times. He is helpful and is able to translate game talk to lady who has no clue talk. This place has been helpful in getting gifts for my family members that I dont even know what are.

Opened 45 minutes late. I asked about a current set of MTG. Said he had none I was looking at a full box of that set. Overall seemed very put off that we even came in and had questions.

I was at first put off by a sense of empty space when I walked in; however, the selection of games for sale was good and kept my attention as I looked through. The gaming events schedule was prominently displayed and current. The gaming tables occupied the majority of the store. Overall, it seems like a great place to host or join an RPG or tabletop event, and the store had a decent selection.

Bottom line: support this business!Hes got a small business with huge potential.Also hes a North burbs gaming hub. No need to drive down to St Paul etc for those of you in Blaine, Brooklyn center, fridley, coon rapids etc.Ill start off with the bad.They have less games than the book store directly next to them in this shady little strip mall.They also have very little insofar as painting materials and miniatures.If I were the owner, Id simply not waste monry on that inventory at all and concentrate on something else.The good.Super awesome place to game!!He has a ton of tables and is very welcoming. The owner is a Marine Corps vet and also a giant game geek.If you play magic, hes got a ton of inventory for this.If you like sitting through comics, hes got bins and bins of them.The prices are reasonable.Hes like a really old school Source Games. Hes happy to fudge the hours to keep a good game going for good people, and hes all about making gaming awesome for gamers.

Support your local nerd store; please dont buy your games, dice and books at the big national book retailer next door when you can get them at OP2K.

They have a LOT of minis if thats your jam (its mine!) An extremely limited selection of comic books that all seemed to be newer releases, and a couple of shelves of board games of various stripes. I might need to go back for Golden Girls Clue. The person working there tends to sit in the back of the store play room area and it never feels super welcoming, but I just figure its awkward nerd shyness all around.

We love this local shop to purchase our board games from and play Magic the Gathering. My boyfriend has been playing FNM here for about 7-10 years and we love the community that has formed here. We also play board games here with our friends, making it a great hangout. Supporting local business is important in our lives and we are so happy to have found this place. I love it here, they have tons of magic the gathering cards and their prices seem sorta low. Also, the staff here are really friendly and helpful. In addition to magic the gathering cards they have games, comic books, and more. They have some tables set up for people to play games at but, the only negative here is that there was a lot of swearing coming from people playing games at the tables.

Came by looking for Tarot sleeves to fit boosters. Didnt have it. Stock was pretty low overall of items. Just nothing exciting for a comic and games store. Nothing worth coming back to. A nice place to come hangout with friends and play cards but really that is it.

Horrible first time experience. Went in for yugioh cards and had close to nothing and also pretty much ignored me and my friends. Wanted to look at Pokémon cards also and ask but he struggled us off. Spend the time to go to other shops. Not worth the drive guys and gals.

Owner may seem a bit gruff but hes actually really nice. You can bring in outside food but no drinks. Good gaming, tabletop and tournament location, lots of space. Doesnt keep a lot of Comic/Board game inventory at location but will cut you a deal if you order through them.

Cute little card store!! Found what we needed! Staff was helpful and nice! Fun seeing the games going while we looked through all the cards they had there!

Awful customer service. One guy tells you “yeah you can return the game after 30 days” even if I open it and don’t like it? “Yeah” come in a few days later to try and return $150 worth of games and a different guy says “no you can’t return these because they’re open.” Don’t buy a game if You’re just trying out new games. Only buy it if you know you’ll like it for sure. What’s the point of even buying it from here then? Don’t listen to what they tell you. They just try and get you to buy the games. Very annoyed.

Amazing back issue comic collection, always a dollar. Love supporting this hole in the wall. Its my shop. Smaller selection than The Source obviously, yet infinitely better prices.

Grate place to play cards and buy as will been going over 3 years now and been treated right from day one the owner is a way cool it is my fnm spot and will be for Manny more years

This is a good sized facility with lots of space for the role playing gamer. They also host game tournaments. They have a very large selection of comics, some role playing figures, and cards for Magic and the such. Overall a good place to go.

Its a decent game store. Not a huge selection but enough to cover many gamers needs. It might be a good place to play a d&d game.

Great place for D&D merch and plenty of room to play as well.

Went in for comics, almost no selection of current books, had to listen to the one person working watch TV (way too loud), while he never once greeted or spoke to me or the two other customers who came in after me. I wont be back.

I came here with my son and was told what we were looking for isnt made anymore. (It is. Found it at Table Top Tournaments in Crystal.) So our trip wasnt a waste, we looked for other card merchandise. The stock was very low so we left empty handed. Customer service was really unhelpful and gave us bad/false info on merchandise.

This place has a really friendly Weiss Schwarz crowd on Thursday and Sunday nights. I bought my first deck there about four months previously from this review, and a staff member was highly helpful and eager to help me build it. All in all, the staff is really friendly and helpful, and I always have a great time there.

Super fun wide open lots of gaming tables friendly staff knowledgeable staff which is always good you can talk to them about D&D Warhammer Pokemon Yu-Gi-Oh pretty much anything and they can either help you with it or they can get a another person within the store that is knowledgeable and will help you

No trades or hard covers. No real comic selection. Why advertise as a comic shop? Its a game store. Probably fine for that.

Very nice place to go play Magic or their other events on calendar. A few mtg cards for sale. Laid back. Not much of a game selection, just some of the most popular stuff. Has some good WH40k tables, plenty of WH40k paint, and some basic models. Also has some comics.

A good hobby shop that has some of everything. I enjoyed my visit, and will be back.

This place is the best! They have the biggest shop/play area around, the biggest MTG crowds, and friendly staff. I wouldnt go anywhere else to buy or play magic. Singles selection is hit or miss.

Very roomy game store with plenty of room for DnD, warhammer and card games. The owner is knowledgeable and can get almost anything you need.

Spent over 20 mins in the front of the store with noone attending or even acknowledging me. When I finally approached and grabbed the attention of one of the two employees to look at a binder, which I briskly flipped through, I then waited around a few minutes even asking to look through another few books looking to spend some money while I was in town and after realizing how much more important their conversation was I left. I would not reccomend this establishment. Lack of service and goods. Appears to have a big play area if you have no ware else to go however.

Well i would have given 4 stars cause its a local shop, and sometimes they price match tcg prices... the card selection and organization isnt the greatest... but its the local shop ya know? However after calling and describing a popular new card from q magic set that I wanted, the person on the phone couldnt be bothered to check if it was in stock, even though I described the name and the set it was in... new rares are usually in one of two binders... but no they wouldnt check, so I suppose Ill just buy online - its cheaper. I go to physical stores to get items faster, and for the service, and personal touch you get with a retail location... but if Im not getting that service, why give them my business?

All in all I wont shop here if I can help it. The staff isnt friendly and usually disinterested in helping the customers at all. The also dont have an easy way of looking up the rares and mythics when it comes to mtg, so youre forced to interact with the employee to ask for a rarebook. I wont say its the worst shopping experience to shop here, but its not an enjoyable experience either. The only time I go here is when my other card shop doesnt have a particular card I need.

Decent prize support than other stores. 7pm FNM is great. Calling during the day you might find it frusterating since the attendant has a hard time answering your questions.

Cant say that Im interested in shopping here for any reason. Theyve got a terrible selection of rare MTG cards, no real organization. If youre looking for out of standard commons and uncommons theyve got those in boxes galor so maybe its not bad there. But Ive never liked it here.
