This store has never been opened when I’ve tried to shop there during the week. (Today is Tuesday and attempt 3) Three separate times within a six week period I’ve showed up between 1-3 pm and the gate is always down. I’ve called the store and no one answers. Perhaps it’s closed down? Save some time and go to another location.

Standing out front. 313pm and the gate is down. No sign. Nobody around. How is it just closed in the middle of the day? Lights are on and sign is in hallway but nothing. Been back twice now over the course of 30 mins and still no one is around.

I don’t think customer service exists anymore this location has the worst customer service in the world. They forgot that customer service is so important to their establishment. Every time I come to this location they are rude and not helpful at all. They are more mad that you came in to there store. They literally ignored me so I just walked out. I will never shop at lids anymore.

Staff was rude and inconsiderate. Spent the entire time typing on the cash register with no customer checking out. When asked about products he barely looked up while answering whatever we have is already out. I will not return to this location. The Mall of America location is full of helpful friendly staff.

I have never liked this place. Too much of a bro vibe. Not a lot of product selection. I get that this is a hat store, but please give more variety than just ball caps, with sports logos... it would be nice to see some other styles of hat and more variety in your store for a change.

Went to the Northtown lids, 11:15 am the whole mall is open except for lids. No sign, no answer on the phone. Website says they are open but I guess someone had a rough Saturday night cause its a ghost town.

Awful customer service, employee was very rude and making personal calls while we were in the store. Right after we left he closed the gates at 11:30 am. Will never go back to this location. Came back the next day to return the items that didnt meet out standards and its closed in the middle of the day too.

Hang up the phone on you. Very short and rude with people. Closed early multiple times after telling people they close at 6.

Great place to get a hat personalized. Reasonable, staff needs more training for sewing on a hat. Hat turned out great. Took a long long time.

Came to the mall just to come here. Lights on, cage closed, nobody answers the phone. Was between 4 and 5 pm on a Tuesday. Why?

Purchased a gift card with cash and the asssociate did not appear to know how to complete this type of transaction. She gave me a refund and attempted to do it a second time. She said I was good to go. When I asked her if there was money on the card she confirmed yes. Fast forward a week later and the person I gifted it to went to pay for his hat and lids said there was no money on it.

Great selection of product and was able to get some great gifts there for the family. Had great service and the prices were great too!!

Good high quality hats. Be sure its the right one because the return policy there is like getting a root canal and a enama at the same time. The store its self is clean and orderly and they seem to have a large inventory. There is plenty of parking in the large mall parking lot.

My best friend bought a hat for her hubbys birthday. They were awesome and basically recreated a hat he had when they first started dating.

Absolutely horrible!!!!!. The so called Manager Tyler was extremely unprofessional and unproductive. He took many smoke breaks throughout his shift in which he closed the store down for hours at a time. I bought two hats from the store which I wanted embroidery. At the time of purchase he was very rude and disrespectful rushing me out the store before even getting clear directions on what I wanted. Tyler told me my hats would be done in a hour or 2. I returned to the store 5 hours later to find he shut the store down to smoke a cigarette there was at least 4 customers outside the store waiting. When he returned my hats had not even been started! In fact it took him 10 min to find my hats because he misplaced them. He then told me he’ll get them done tomorrow. I politely said no thank you I’ll take my hats back. He gave me the two bags with my hats. To make matters worse he left the ink security pin on one of the hats!! I’m extremely disappointed with how this stores being operated and will get to the bottom of it.

I tried going to 2 different Lids locations in MN. One at the Rosedale Mall, the other at the Northtown Mall. At Rosedale, the cage was shut and a sign was posted reading Be back at 6 PM. I didnt want to wait, so the next day I went to Northtown Mall at 11:30 AM and there was a sign that read, At Lunch. Be back in 30 minutes. I ended up waiting for close to an hour and no one returned. I asked a woman working at a kiosk and she said that no one had been there all day (she also said it wasnt the first time this had happened....what a joke. I have always taken my cap business to Lids, but whoever is running this place is a joke.
