The older gentleman behind the counter made what should’ve been a very simple order complicated. I left irritated and will never return.Customer Service is a skill set as well as an art and anyone with a business should have themselves/employees trained in customer service when dealing with the public.The exchange is more than just the product and one’s money but the service from the beginning to the end.

Service is nice but I wouldn’t recommend the ice creams, there were flies in it. Just get soft served from the machine.

I was there seven days ago after an interview, and the employees were not wearing masks behind the counter. One employee told me they were vaccinated, but it should be a requirement indoors to wear a mask when dealing with peoples food.

This is the BEST Carvel in Northern NJ. We’re celebrating my daughter’s 16th birthday. Being that we’re in a pandemic, we’re scrambling & trying to make this a birthday my daughter will always remember. So on short notice I needed a custom ice cream cake with my daughters favorite colors. Went there on a Friday evening and placed the order, picked my cake up early Saturday afternoon. I would like to thank the staff there for being friendly, understanding & the GREAT service they were able to provide me on such short notice. I’d also like to thank them for the AMAZING job they did on the cake. My daughter absolutely LOVED it!!!

A great, local, neighborhood ice cream shop. Walking distance from my house. I LOVE the Cookies and Cream Carvelance! Ive ordered three of them within the past week. Nicole always does an awesome job making each one!

I love the new layout and management. The owner is so nice and professional. New flavors that you cant find in most Carvel shops and great customer service.

I purchased two chocolate milkshakes last night and they were the best milkshakes I’ve had in my life. They were made very well by Ferriven. The milkshakes tasted even better because of Ferriven’s warm personality and hospitality. I will return again because of Ferriven. I will purchase more milkshakes because of Ferriven. Carvel will make more money because of Ferriven. Carvel should take care of Ferriven because she is a wonderful human being who makes money for Carvel.

One of my favorite stops to make is here at the Carvel. I grew up loving Carvel cakes and to be able to go to the store and enjoy the different treats is awesome. Hussein, Desiree and other team members have been phenomenal, friendly and professional every time we go. I like that they sell small containers of the crunchies since that is one of the best parts of an ice cream cake. The waffle bowls are made fresh at the store. There are specials Monday- Friday. Definitely go visit this store.

Ferriven had Great customer service !

Last monday morning (on Halloween) I went to get a milk shake and I love how the girl made my day! I forgot the girls name but she looked Hispanic. Great customer service!

I just want to say that as someone in the customer service profession, this place was a JOY to visit. The owner Mr. Hameed was very warm and kind to my 11 year old daughter, was patient while she looked over the selection, and offered up several samples and suggestions to her. I remember Carvels birthday cakes fondly from my childhood, and this place with Mr. Hameed as well as his daughter Maryam with their hospitality reminded that those nice places still exist. Go treat yourself and have a cone.

Horrible customer service the new owner or whatever she wants to be is so rude why would I only buy a number 2 candles for my 21st birthday this makes no sense never again will I ever do business there ... theyre so unorganized and have major attitude problems Im so infuriated 😠😡 and the cake is so ugly like smh this is ridiculous they ruined everything

Indian lady was rude and nasty rushing saying hurry up we closing. We left immediately! Didnt want to spend my money here. She was very unprofessional!!! Dont go to this Carvel!!!!
