Excellent! This location is easy to spot from Army Trail and I decided to stop in as a treat after an appointment. They have a huge selection of ice cream and shakes/sundaes etc. Service was fast and friendly, and my sundae was brought to my table in only a couple minutes. The store was clean, bathroom was clean too. Nice treat on a 91 degree day!

Everytime we visit from Canada we ensure we go to oberweis .. it has now become a ritual.. love their shakes and my kids love the ice cream very much... According to them its the best ice cream in the world they ever had.

This location is AWFUL at night. waited over 25 minutes for a scoop of ice cream and a milkshake. do better. currently watching people on their phone and stretch. not sure what’s going on. ordered just got made at the window? seriously? 30 minutes for 2 things

I like the inside - very clean and has a nostalgic (1950s like) feel to it. Staff was super nice when I brought my little nephew, and gave him his own balloon which he loved. My only complaint is that the ice cream is super pricey. Ordered two single scoops of chocolate and a 2 scoop of two different flavors - paid over $20!

This is the WORST Oberweis store. I have had many issues with this location, but always try to give them the benefit of the doubt. I went tonight and waited between 30-45 minutes for a chocolate shake and a vanilla malt. The vanilla malt was made wrong or something apparently because I had to wait longer at the window for it. When I finally received it, it was like water. It was not frozen whatsoever. To make it even worse, it was chocolate, not vanilla. For how expensive this ice cream is, its just ridiculous to wait this long and then it was wrong. This isnt the first time its happened either. I wanted a refund but couldnt get one. I will not be going back to this location.

Went to a Trump rally a year or so ago, and they were giving the kids free ice cream. Since then, we have vowed to visit this store weekly through the summer months and we love it every time. Great service, especially the black young man who works the drive through. He is always so pleasant and takes pride in his job. Thanks, oberweis!

My pineapple shake was horrible! I was soupy like milk and pineapple juice! Not thick and creamy like $9.00 Shake should be!! I have never had an oberwies shake this bad before!I need a refund!!

Went there with my girlfriend for our special anniversary and were treated to a delicious night snack! Tried one of their ice cream specials and didnt like it, Cris the manager there listened to my story and offered to replace it free of charge! Definitely coming back for the sweet treats and incredible service.

Me and my friend came to this establishment and met a great worker, working in the cold that took our order. He was so friendly and he convinced us to come back when I come home from college again. Oberweis always has extremely friendly service and their desserts are the best! Among my favorites are a cherry shake and many of their holiday favorites. This year they have the Hit Fudge Peppermint Brownie Sundae, and it the best way to have a taste of the holiday season! Always stellar at this location!

They give priority to the drive through customers. I Went inside to get my order and although only 4 customers in line it took 15 min to place my order and another 10 min to get it

Great service and even better milkshakes. Tried the new choc cake shake and lemon blackberry shake. Both were delicious. I love to eat in the shop because its so cute and comfy.

If I buy six 1/2 gallons of lemonade, this store told me that I have to pay extra to have a crate to use to carry it home. This is the only store that has told me that. Other stores that I have been to just give me a crate to use for free if I buy six 1/2 gallons of lemonade.

I am very disappointed in this location. We came across them on Uber Eats and ordered delivery 8 times from there and 3 times from Doordash. The first few orders were perfect- Every time after that, the orders have been wrong! Wrong toppings, missing toppings; 1 time I ordered 4 items and only received 2! I had to call the store and they sent someone out to deliver, and the driver apologized, but no apology from the store. Just tonight I ordered the turtle sundae and put in the notes no hot fudge. What did I receive? Extra Fudge and No caramel sauce. I threw it out! Im so tired of the mistakes; its tasty when its correct, but we may never order from there again due to all of the errors and us, The Customer, being inconvenienced!

The most delicious place out there for ice cream

My first time here. Went to the drive thru and ordered a 2 scoop ice cream sundae in a waffle cone and a vanilla shake. Pulled up to the window and paid $18.04. They gave me the sundae in a cup, so I said I ordered it in a waffle cone. They took it back and said they would correct it. The girl handed me a small cup of whip cream and separately the sundae that was dumped in to a waffle bowl. I guess the whip cream was what was in the original cup. It was a mess- everything was upside down.I guess that one way to do it.

My friend and I went through the drive thru as usual and we were greeted by Chris who took our order. He was standing in the freezing cold taking orders yet still had the best customer service. He told us about their new specials, made us laugh, and even convinced us to return!!

The best ice cream I have ever had! My personal favorite is the coconut chocolate almond. Would highly recommend it for any coconut fans.

Staff is friendly, good service, place is clean. You can come and sit and enjoy your ice cream if you want. There is limited seating because of social distancing rules.

I was having such a hard time picking out which flavor to get, but one Katherine, one of the scoopers there, was so helpful and patiently recommended what flavors she preferred. I ended up getting birthday cake, and I will definitely be back to get some more!

Amazing ice cream and very sweet staff. They care for your business and make sure to get your order right. Ive had the lava cake sundae, the frozen reeses shake and banana split. All are very good choices but my personal favorite is the lava cake. Yum!

The staff was very quick and friendly. The frozen coffee is so good! I wish they were open a bit earlier so I could go before work.

They hand packed it for me. But let it rest for a while after its been in the freezer for a few hours. It was rock hard. But it tasted awesome!

I love this chain, this location!! Ive been coming here off and on for nearly 14 years and I love it as much as I did the very first time I stepped in the door!! For the uninitiated there is something special about the moment you step foot in the door of an Oberweis store! You smell the waffle cones and the various ice cream flavors, it is beyond intoxicating!! I have always enjoyed a few staple items like a Strawberry Malt or a Hot Fudge Sundae and as you sit down and enjoy it with your family the smells overwhelm you with the desire to take more home with you, which I always do!! The Blueberry Pie ice cream is awesome!!!! I recommend this place as highly as possible!!! I love Oberweis!!!!

You cannot get better ice cream than Oberweis. That being said, at this location the service is typically slow so be prepared to wait 5-10 minutes before being served.

I received impeccable service from the staff earlier today. Also, the scary looking guy was really nice. I ordered vanilla with condiments no pickle / Black cherry cherry on top no pickle as well. 5ive / 5ive stars ; The guy with the Mop has probably the same pants size as me for bonus points!

I’d like to start this review by stating as a satisfied customer of Oberwise Dairy that I once again was greeted by a great staff and was served to my satisfaction.however, on the few occasions i’ve been to the this location, my issue really comes from who i can only assume is the manager / store owner. The disrespect shown to his employees is absolutely appalling. this could be chalked up to him having a bad day but i’ve seen this almost every time I’ve come to this store. my heart really goes out to those kids. this management needs to make a change immediately. I’m more then happy to answer any questions if reached out to.

The ice cream is very high quality. And very tasty. However, when I came in one time they gave me an enormous scoop that started to melt on top of the small cone I ordered. I told them to give me a small scoop! Very sad!However I will return as the taste is incredible.And let me tell you about their free water.It takes like a fresh cool drink freedom. I swear there is something about it that I cannot put my finger on. It would make my friend F. Durst very happy! Would recommend!

I went in to this location earlier today and loved it. The store was clean and the staff were organized and got everything out in an orderly fashion. Would 100% go back to this location.

Kavin, Zuzanna, and Michael were very sympathetic to us. My dogs and I havent had ice cream in 40 days, and were going nutty as a fruit cake. My golden retreiver learned how to say synonym. The new flavor cattywampus gave me a new perspective on life.

Kavin was extremely friendly and provided me and my friend and my dog with top quality service that exceeded my dogs high expectations as well as my own. As this was the only ice cream that i was allowed to eat in a 46 day time period, it has expanded my appreciation for life and now, because of kavin, i am living my life to the fullest. My best life has taught me that ice cream can have a marvelous affect on the body, as it bestow a supreme source of joyfulness on the human brain. I also enjoyed the dogfood that was presented to me by the most talented, good humored employee, kavin, because it tasted like whipped cream. Zuanna and Michael did a good job too.

Ridiculous our son had Severe sun burn (blisters) and didn’t have face mask on we were told that he needs face mask and that everyone in building needs one yet people inside at the table didn’t have one. And yet he didn’t tell them to leave and put face mask on. Poor customer service lost our service. How can a child with severe sunburn have mask on????!! Total discrimination, how can he say that everyone requires face mask in the building when people at table didn’t have one!

They were very accommodating for my allergy, they even had an organized binder of what was and wasn’t gluten free

Havent been to an Oberweis for about a year but drove by and really was craving a latte. My husband and I went in and we were the only two people in the restaurant. When we went to order, I asked the associate what flavors they have for a latte because there was so much signage that I couldnt easily find it. Without saying a word, she pointed above her head. I found this to be off-putting but figured it out and ended up ordering a small ice cream instead. When the other associate brought out our order, I thanked her for it and smiled. She just put down our order and walked away without saying a word. I wasnt expecting much however basic human decency and basic customer service would dictate that at least she would say your welcome or enjoy. Unpleasant experience, but glad to say the chocolate ice cream was good.

I came here and specifically asked if the “Peanut Butter Cookie Dough” ice cream had chocolate in it. I am allergic to chocolate and cannot have it. The employee told me no. When I got home ready to eat, I noticed it indeed had chocolate and was actually “Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough.” Upset that I spent so much money for something I cannot have. Very concerning for someone with a worse allergy than mine.

Love Oberweis Ice Cream! Best ice cream weve ever had. We only get to visit town once or twice a year, but we stop for Oberweis every visit, sometimes twice!

Oberweis is by far and away one of the best, if not the best, ice cream shops in the Chicagoland area. I used to goto the one in Tinley Park/Orland Park all the time, but it doesn’t matter, they are all great. Whenever we come to Chicago to visit my dad my kids always have Oberweis on their lists of places to go. Their shakes are awesome. My wife loves their hot fudge sundaes and my kids love everything.
