Great place to bring the kids to pick out there fav toy...nice and clean..

Well, I wouldnt say that it was a horrible experience- just an okay one. The cashier did not know how to use my gift card for Toys R Us and needed 2 other cashiers help. Although, the toys werent that expensive at the time Id come and I was very happy with them. So, I actually would recommend coming here. Service was a little slow, but after the wait, the cashier apologized twice and thanked me for being so patient. Was a good time. Definitely come here.

I have come to the Bloomingdale Toys R Us for the past 20+ yrs. Im here to say that today (03 Jan 2018) my wife and I received the best customer service weve ever had experienced from this store. A shout out to Zack and Kaitlyn for your outstanding customer service and going above and beyond. Thank you.

I normally dont shop at toy stores much anymore, its easier to shop online and cheaper too. That being said I came to this store looking for toys I wanted to touch and feel. I wanted something durable for my grand daughter. There prices are ridiculous. They have a serious markup on prices compared to target or Wal-Mart. Expect a 20 to 50 percent price difference on the exact same toys. My complaint on the other hand is the lack of assistance they dont offer. I had to wait 30 minutes to get someone to verify a price on a sale item. A sale item that wasnt on sale even though it had a sign on it. Their customer service is Horrible. Will not be going back there. My suggestion would be to shop online. Youll get better service than talking to a body at toys r us. PS. I love the fake blank reviews with 5 starts but no comment to keep the low rating from getting to low. Obviously from management at that store, pathetic

Huge lines and cashier was unsure how to use gift cards, and how to use reward r us coupons. I understand people are new but they gave no one to help her out and guide her. Waited 10 minutes for someone to come help. Saw so many associates just standing on aisles gabbing with each other. But they do have great toy selections.

This toys r us location is my favorite! Mike the manager is always kind and always willing to help. Each time I walk in I am greeted usually by Roopmala who is also extremely kind and helpful as well! I will always come back to the Bloomingdale location. Thanks toys r us crew.

Hate to see it go... I have been a toys r us kid for 20+ years 😂Workers are still just as kind and helpful! Considering that they wont have a job soon. I love toys r us/babies r us, been shopping here since i had my first kid. This store however, has one lady that HATES her job! Her life! Humanity! The world! She always has an attitude, always makes it mission impossible to solve a simple problem one could have, and to top it off shes on the customer service desk! Like, dont these managers see her attitude? She needs to be in a different department, or the back, but definitely not dealing with people.

The workers are very rude and disrespectful... I asked for help and the guy who helped me literally laughed at me because I told him that the sign had a different price than the price he gave me.. They should be more responsible on how they mark the prices or at least on how they stock the merchandise

I went in to buy several items to find all of the registers were shut down. The service desk had numerous people waiting with returns, so I waited by the electronics register, and then the first register near it. A worker walked by and did not acknowledge me. After about ten minutes I put the merchandise back on the shelf and left. Later I called the store to let them know what happened, the manager would only say I had to go to customer service and wait in the return line. I went elsewhere to buy the items in the end. The Downers Grove location is a lot better.

My mother and I just went in yesterday to purchase some birthday gifts for my daughter. There was a young man name Kris bryja ( I only know his last name because I specifically asked him to write this review) he was so extremely helpful and very nice. He offered to carry all the heavy items to the car ( car seat and new bike ) and he even came outside and helped make it fit so we didnt have to make a second trip. He was very patient with us and my 2 year old even though she was terrorizing the store. LolThank you to this young man for making our experience easy.

Horrible experience!! And this was last November, almost 5 months before they announced they are closing every store permanently!! It was the dirtiest, most disorganized, short staffed, holiday mess of a store I might have ever experienced!! We went for 2 simple things and were able to get no assistance from anyone working there! We walked the store for nearly 2 hours asking for help, we even had other customers helping us and because the place was such a disaster area it was impossible to find anything we needed. We ended up going online to another company and having it delivered. If it wasnt closing for good Id say dont ever go there, but they are so I dont have to!!

Store closing. Very little left and prices not as good as one would hope. We will miss the store though.

Huge sales going on right now since theyre all closing down. Sad, I used to love these places, used to feel like I was going to an amusement park or something, lol.

My wife was picking up a order she placed online. when she arrived a young man came to help her, asked what do you want she said to pick up an order, he went and retrieved it, then said show me your license no please, no manners at all. Very rude from the beginning to the end. canceling the other online orders and will purchase elsewhere moving forward.

Kris Bryja - I think thats his name. A very courteous young man who helped throughout our shopping with my great niece Gabby pick her first car Minnie Kris have perfect customer service and rare to encounter in sales. Im a medical professional with great customer services I think but this young man was perfect, you beat me Kris! . This location is very bad. Had a situation where i needed a manager to call me back and that never happened. Called corpoarte to be given a case number and nobody ever called me either. Over priced toys. Stuff all in the wrong spots, stuff priced wrong. Only one cashier and shes horrible and rude and goes very slow.

This is a toys r us combined with a babies r us. Its a little cramped but they have a decent selection for cramping two stores into one. The staff had always been friendly and I frequent this location.

Disgusting look. Unclean. Unorganized. Definitely doesnt constitute the price for the product on the shelf.

Checked in to pickup a order. I asked customer service where to get the order, they told me to go wait in the back that it would be right out and I waited 20 min. Only to find out it was in customer service they had taken it up there.

This has to be one of the worst Toys R Us stores. The staff is incredibly rude and disrespectful. If you try to return something here, best of luck. I waited for an hour to be treated horrifically.

I went here on Thursday thansgiving 2015 for there opening @ 5 p.m.. I was there at 1:30! p.m I was first in line to get in an when i got in the item i went there for was not on shelf!! I ask for help they scanned the code for my item an tell me there completly out of stock! I was sooo frustrated with this news i waited so long to be told they were completely out when i was first to come in I dont get that at all!!! Very unhappy left empty handed! Will never ever go to this location again !!

This store is disorganized and they never answer calls, I though it was just because they were busy or something, but when I was there the cashiers phone started to ring and she never answered
