I only went in for new eyes and ears but they were very helpful. It also is a well kept store with a wide range of firearms and gear. Kudos.

I went to this store because of the good reviews and found that everything lived up to expectations. The staff was extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and patient. They answered every question I had and never pressured me into a purchase or tried to upsell me.

10-8 Outfitters has a great variety of firearms in stock, and the staff are very courteous and professional. Ive never been made to feel ignorant or talked down to while in the store. I highly recommend them!

Excelent customer care! I am getting ready to transition from the private security world to public service law enforcement. I simply wanted to go in and have a look around to see what they offered with their weapons and uniforms. The staff greeted me with open arms as a new customer and spent the time showing me the rifles and handguns I was interested in.The whole atmosphere was welcoming and even patrons greeted one another and talked to each other about their purchases.While I made the decision to hold off on purchasing a firearm, I decided I was in need for a new set of tactical boots. After spending time speaking with their employees and reviewing the pros and cons of their boot selection, I feel I was able to make an informed decision on which pair I would buy.Thanks again to all who made my first expirence unforgettable. They definately have my backing and I will be a repeat customer!

As I stated in my review of Smileys Sports Shop, I was needing to replace firearms lost in a fire totalling over $3,100.00. When I arrived, I explained my situation and that I needed assistance in picking out and purchasing replacement firearms, and that I had just had a rude and unhelpful response from Smileys. They laughed, said that was quite the norm, and then spent several hours assisting me in picking no less that $3,600.00 in firearms and accessories. The entire staff was cheerful and pleasant and very helpful and knowledgeable about firearms. I highly recommend you to use them as your Bloomington/Normal in-town gun store. I have used for FFL transfers in the past, purchased reloading supplies, and they are now without a doubt my primary stop for any gun related purchases. Highly recommended!

I have aways known 10-8 outfitters as The Cop Shop but with any name, you wont find any place in Bloomington=Normal aera that treats you as a valued customer as the help at 10-8 outfitters does. Its so good to A new shop grow so much that it has to hire more help,good help, help that knows what they are selling. I went in to buy a small hand gun. But after showing me another that better suited m;y needs, I bought it. Product knowlege is so very inportant and you will find it at 10-8 outfitters. I am looking fourward to using the new shooting range.
