I called Jeremy to see if he could fix a sagging couch and a hutch that had a cracked door. He did fantastic work- thorough, precise, and very knowledgeable. Would definitely recommend him for repair and restoration anytime.

I had some movers help me, but they left a gouge in the floor from a heavy hardwood dresser. The movers hired Monroe Furniture Restoration and I am impressed at how much knowledge they had about wood restoration. The restoration specialists showed up on time, and took their time repairing my hardwood floors which took a lot of patience and was tedious work to match the grain colors and get everything smoothed, leveled, colored, and sealed just right. Im very pleased with the work done and I have no hesitations recommending them for wood restoration.

Tim and associates took on a kitchen island that we had commissioned to be made from reclaimed wood and finished it precisely as I had wanted it done. They made sure that it was exactly what I wanted, even though the finish was a bit out of the ordinary fare and they probably thought it would be rather odd when done but it turned out so beautifully, they saw my vision while working on it. They took the extra time to be sure it was perfect. I couldnt be happier!

Just had another rescue by the very able artisan Tim Puro at Monroe Furniture Restorations. My Danish relatives toasted to our health with tiny shots of Akavit, and the tasty elixir took the finish off my table. Tim saved the day! (This particular Danish custom will forevermore take place in the kitchen.) Tim has made invisible repairs to several cherished pieces of furniture over the years. He does great work on cabinets and floors, too.

Tim Puro went way out of his way to help me, even driving out to my home to work on my baby grand piano, which (obviously) couldnt be moved easily. My piano is an 80 year old heirloom that has always been in my family, which, unfortunately, been scratched during some repair work (not his!). Though the finish is old, he touched up and restored a couple of pieces that came out to his shop, and then even came to my house to fix a few other issues that were on the piano itself (and all on behalf of another businesss snafu, which smoothed out a touchy situation for both parties involved). Though it might not have seemed like a huge problem to some, it was to me, as there were very few marks on the piano, and my family had treated it very carefully throughout its life. I guess what I mean is that even though it was a simple repair, he understood how I feel about the piece, and went way out of his way to make sure I was satisfied.He even fixed an old problem we had with a vase stain, that was not in question concerning the repair of someone elses mishap. On top of his great work, he was professional, courteous, and literally went extra miles to help me out of an unfortunate situation. In this day when it seems like the big box stores dont care much about the general public, Tim showed that he cared about my situation, and treated me like a loyal customer. Tim does excellent work. He repaired some damaged family heirlooms and far exceeded my expectations. Would highly recommend Monroe Furniture Restoration.
