My wife and I built a house this past summer and had Tom and his crew create all the countertops (and kitchen table) for our house. Man do these look beautiful!Everything was delivered within the agreed upon time window. There were a few snags in the process - the island wasnt fitted correctly and the kitchen table was made in the wrong color, BUT Tom has a lot of integrity and took ownership of everything and fixed it without any extra charges. Everything was dialed in and perfect in the end. I cant stress enough how relieving it is to work with someone who had integrity and stands by his work and product. He definitely is someone I would keep working with for future projects.Oh and I pursued a few quotes for the same project and Tom beat them all by a few thousand dollars!I would add that his product requires a bit more maintenance that I had realized - hopefully i dont butcher this, but its a concrete countertop coated with some sort of stone polymer that is completely customizable in color, texture, sand, etc (pretty cool) - on top of this is a clear sealant and on top of the sealant is a marine wax - this wax needs to be re applied every 3-6 months - especially in high traffic areas. Anything acidic (lemon, lime, citric acid, vinegar, etc) will begin to erode the wax and sealant and can stain the stone if left for too long.The cool thing though is that they can repair them in a way to make it look brand new so your not SOL if something happens to them.And just look at these photos... they speak for themselves.

I called Chicago Concrete Studio with a Hail Mary to see if they might be able to repair the finish for my 16 concrete kitchen island. Tommy called back quickly and within a few weeks Colin came to do my work on a weekend. Working two solid days Colin got my countertop back to a beautiful finish. I could not have been more pleased with the quality of the work and the cleanliness of the project too. Im completely thrilled with their service and cant recommend highly enough

We wanted a shade of turquoise to match a color scheme in our home. Tom said no problem and was happy to do something that he does not get to do much, using colors. The countertops are beautiful. One was very large because we did not want a seam and he had to rent a bigger truck and bring more crew to install it. Again, no problem. Great company that I highly recommend.

Five stars and more!! The custom top fits perfectly on my kitchen island, It expands the seating area and provides way more room for food preparation without taking up any more room than the old one. Spills, splatters, etc. wipe up with just water, leaving no trace of etching or stains. The job they did certainly exceeded my expectations.

Tom was great to work with! He is not only incredibly helpful while working out the design and costs, he also takes the additional time to explain all the details of the project that you may not understand. I can honestly say I came away knowing more about concrete than before and would recommend him and his shop to anyone looking for similar work.
