This is a good corner store. I’m not from blue island nor do I live in it but whenever I go in, I always get treated respectfully. The owner has his mask on when I’m there and gets me in and out. I always buy their blunts and vapes for my gf. It’s always fresh and doesn’t taste old or expired like how some corner stores be. People wrote reviews complaining about food that they really should be getting at a GROCERY STORE, and not a corner store, but hey to each their own. Don’t give bad reviews based off of that. This place is actually one of the best corner stores in blue island.

Vegetables and fruit be bogus, never has the right chips, pop or snacks and everything except chips and certain drinks is over priced. Only reason why I even go there is because they sell blunts at the price they supposed to be. Other than that...... Nope!!!!!

I love this lil corner store been coming here since I was 10yrs old living down da block at 12441 Maple Ave. 1st flr. back then da apt. my family lived in was yellow and da neighborhood corner store everybody love adults,children too has come a LONG way from owners and employees. Back when I was little da owner was named Pam and her wkers Mary and her daughter who looked so much alike youd think they were sisters,and I think there was a Michelle beautiful cashier, I just remember da days(from 95-99) when da prices were cheap and I could go in there w/ like $5-$6 bucks and get, 2cherry & watermelon Clearly Canadians 1 $1 bag of chips, 2 strawberry shortcake ice cream bars and 25 red gumy fish for 1¢ and a candy bar....and my absolute favorite is when we had a skool field trip my mom would order my sister and me da bomb sandwichs w/ miracle whip & mustard,filled w/ Ham and Turkey, Tomatoe, and American cheese cut in half with a bag of chips and a pop ooh plus a dessert like a candy bar... but any way now Im 32 and married and da Corner Store isnt da same and da prices have changed along with da workers and da owners but are polite da only other things da disappoint me is dat Im a disabled handicapped young woman dat would love to be able to go in dat store but its Not handicapped accessible with a ramp or in side backs in da day it was never dat tightly cramped in da neighborhood corner store if they make a ramp and room it would help me and other handicapped people like me....
