The new boat drop off procedure with brand new boat service building is the best l have ever encountered. Makes everything so easy. Boat serviced and back in my possession in no time. It actually scared me it was so fast. Plenty of room on the lot now to maneuver in and out.

The service department absolutely refuses to answer the phone or return phone calls. I was forced to use their text system in which I requested a phone call. I had them winterize my boat last year so figured they could do it again this year. Went to drop off my boat to be informed that they no longer service Sea Doo products. A 2 minute phone call would have saved me a 2 hour round trip! If youre that short staffed in the service department then you should be redirecting calls elsewhere within your business.

These people are awesome! I purchased a trailer from them so I could haul my fathers boat down to South Carolina and they made it all perfect. My father had stored his boat there over the winter and they performed some maintenance on it as well. We came in, signed the papers, and left for South Carolina. We arrived in SC safely with boat and trailer! They were very responsive to our needs and friendly. Thank you Traci and Matt!

From stepping onto the show room floor to pulling our boat off the lot, Matt and his crew there were amazing. Not only do we feel we had a great buying experience, but we also feel we made friends. The sales world is tough and as a buyer you always feel the pressure. Matt and Blue Springs Marine never once did anything of the sort to us. In fact they bent over backwards to help us every way they could. They went so far as to even re-center the boat on the trailer before we left by taking the time to put it on the lift. We will continue to use them due to the great experience they gave us. I will update this review as time goes on and we find ourselves at their establishment.

Do not do business with this boat dealer. They picked my boat up at the boat ramp. I informed them where the boat cover was located and asked if they wanted me to put it on now or would they put it on when they arrived at the shop. They said theyd put it on. I was told if they charges exceeded $450 I wouldnt be charged for the pick up and drop off. I picked up the boat at the shop and they hadnt covered it. It had major bird dropping on the seats and all the seats and carpet on the bow had mold and mildew on them. They had blown a tire on the trailer and replaced with the spare but didnt notify me so I didnt have a good spare. I was charged $130 for them to pick the boat up even though my charges exceed $450 before the $130 charge. They explained the $27 for shop supplies dont apply to the $450. I called the dealer and talked explained my situation and she was rude and actually hung up on me. Ive never written a review on Yelp but this one deserved to be the first. Im sharing my story with all my friends at Lake Lotawana and Im getting some satisfaction its cost this poorly ran business more than the $130 this bad experience cost me, and the 4 hours it took to clean the boat.Jeff B

Took my boat October 2020 for winterization and service. Just realized this week they crushed the new oil filter they put on. Took it back to have the filter redone and when I got the boat back to storage I realized they had left the power switch on and my battery was dead. Save yourself time and frustration GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!Notice how manipulative and condescending the reply is. They barely addressed the lack of attention to detail in leaving the battery switch on and didn’t even touch the crushed oil filter that could have damaged the engine. Instead they spent most of the reply trying to turn it around and say that I have a problem. This shows me a spirit of hostility to the customer that permeates the entire organization. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!!

I was looking for a pretty obscure part for my 2016 Chaparral and had not received any response from 2 dealerships(after a couple of weeks) that are closer to where I live. The boat was originally purchased from Blue Springs Marine so I sent a request to them. Sheila Slaughter responded and put in the time to find what I needed. She was extremely helpful and took the time to help me out. I cannot say enough about her commitment to customer service!!! Thank you again Sheila!

I’ve used blue springs marine in the past and even purchased my 2014 boat from them. I’ve had Zero problems with their customer service. Matter of factI’ve had outstanding service. Had The evinrude technician come take an take a ride on my boat to find a reason the engine was missing. Plus I had 2 tires needing replaced on my trailer. I called Jeff and asked about getting them replaced. He had 2 tires sent in and replaced with NO hassle. I guess it’s all in how you treat people - me - couple problems but I was well taken care of like I was the only customer. Plus Sheila in parts always, always is Professional.

Was disappointed with our experience. We had a five o’clock appointment to look at specific boat we were interested in buying. Arrived early but no one greeted us and the sales person we were meeting wasn’t ready for us so told us to go look at the boat ourselves. My husband had to uncover the boat completely on his own in order to see it. They left spare keys in a cup holder that was full of water and causing rust to stain an otherwise pristine boat. No one ever came to check on us, we spent 30 minutes looking at the boat and then putting the cover back on. Went back inside to talk about it with the salesperson who couldn’t answer most of our questions and didn’t offer to uncover other boats to look at. We wanted to buy a boat but definitely didn’t feel like they wanted our business or cared about us as customers so we left.

The service department is very knowledgeable and thorough, the other sales team members spent time talking and laughing with us! We were having boat issues and had Blue Springs Marine replace a couple parts that seemed to be the issue. We paid a diagnostic fee that was hefty as well as replacing our trailer bunks. We thought replacing the bunks would include the carpet on the inner fender wells which they did not do. We also asked for all of our parts back and never got anything. We also assumed that with the diagnostic fee, they would have went in depth to figure out the issue. If they would have run the boat for more than 20 minutes they would have realized there was an electrical issue that wouldn’t allow the motor to run past 20 minutes. We figured spending $3000 with them, they would have been more thorough with the diagnostics. We tried time and time again to get the boat to run and it wouldn’t. We then took the boat to KC Boat Doctor and it was fixed in a week and we didn’t pay an arm and a leg. If anyone needs a good recommendation, KC Boat Doctor is amazing!

Nice staff and fast service. I had no issues or complaints. They had a water pump replacement kit there in the store and all I had to do was pay and pickup. They seemed to have a lot of the basic necessity items on hand in the store. Definitely worth a stop and look or at least a call.

Chad was great in helping us through a very long boat buying process! We changed our minds a lot of times and he was patient and friendly with us throughout it all! We appreciated his knowledge in explaining all the differences between various brands, models, motors, etc as that was so helpful in making the right decision. Additionally, the whole staff was great even after we purchased the boat and had more questions. We will definitely be back!

Kinda odd the only dealership that won’t install accessories in the KC metro area UNLESS you buy it from them. Good way to make money in sales although I’m sure they claim it is to ensure it wasn’t damaged or some excuse - won’t go them for anything in the future

Copy and paste this with 1 star to blue springs Marine.Stay away!!! Took boat in for service because the RPMs would come up then fall off as if it had a governor. Paid over $100 for a compression check. Compression check was done before scheduling service and all 3 cylinders read nearly the same. Blue Springs Marine said the motor had bad compression, so they stopped with the diagnostic. I argued that the compression was checked and was told by the service manager that their readings indicated low compression so they stopped working on it but went ahead and invoiced over $100 to pull 3 plugs and check compression. Stay away unless you feel like giving away your money.

DO NOT GO HERE!!! We have taken our boat to them 3 times now. The same issue we took it in for the first time it still has. $2500 later the problem has not been fixed. Even worse they gave us our boat back this last time with a huge screw in one our tires and our cover for our boat ripped. They refuse to replace either one so now we are out even more money. Customer service is absolutely horrible. When we went to pick up our boat the first time the older lady we had to deal with was completely rude and apparently very annoyed when I asked if I could see the paper work to know what all was done. You would think they would be happy to go over that with you when handing them thousands of dollars. I wish I would have read the reviews about this place before going here. Never again! Horrible people, horrible business!

We hit something while boating and took our damaged boat to get an estimate to turn into our insurance. We spoke to them many times on the phone and in person but for some reason they never seemed to be able to get a complete estimate finished on our boat even after having it for 4 weeks! They told us many times they had it on the schedule to get finished up but then when we would check with them they still had not touched it. Then they told us they could just begin repairs on our boat then turn in a supplement for any extra repairs. We finally got tired of the hassle and lack of communication with them and removed it from their facility and a week later got a completed estimate elsewhere showing it was totaled out!The worst part is we bought a new boat from them while waiting on them to get an estimate on our old boat. After only 5 hours of boat time it is now broke down. They are now telling us the repairs will not be completely covered by warranty and we should probably turn in an insurance claim because it is going to get expensive! The damage was not caused by our negligence at all. It was caused by a major design flaw that I actually inquired about before purchasing the boat and was assured that there was no way that any damage could occur due to this “flaw” Anyone that has had a good experience with Blue Springs Marine should count their blessings! We have had nothing but headaches.

Bought a trailer from here and was dissatisfied with the service I received. I paid in advance for the trailer, and called to let them know when I was coming. The trailer was not ready and I had to wait 45 minutes for the to FIND the trailer. Then when I took it all the way home and tried to use it, it broke and I had to bring it all the way back for repairs. Additionally when I asked if they would offer any compensation for this hassle, they were simply defensive. I will not be returning here.

First time customer and Im driving quite a ways to get there. The main attraction for me was the acid wash for the boat bottom. I dont have a lift so it stays in the slip for the season. Ive always done the cleaning myself but its an awful process. For $200 bucks it looks at least as good (probably better!) and I know the boat is clean under the trailer bunks as well. Until I have 10 grand for a lift, I will continue to drive to Blue Springs in the fall. Id probably use them for more but they were upfront about not being too eager to work on Suzuki outboards. I appreciated the honesty.

Through my first 2 years of boat ownership I have taken my 2 boats here for all repairs. They are top notch. Theyve done welding on two of my aluminum boats and done a great job. No leaks afterwards to be found. Great customer service by Misty, parts department, and technicians in the back. Very friendly sales staff as well, when I broke my last boat they showed me one in my price range with no pressure on me at all to purchase. My recent repair was very quick to be done with and I was honestly shocked with how fast I had my boat back, just in time for the spawning season! They are the best!

Rude and unprofessional. I paid them around $1k to detail my boat, fix a scratch, shrink wrap and store it for the winter. I went there today to meet a guy to show it and sell it. I pulled up in a 2016 Corvette Z06 and was waiting by my boat. I was approached by a guy and a gal. I said politely hi are you Chris?. He says rudely NO. What are you doing here?! Long story short, I explained why I was there. They continued to interrogate me and even asked the name that was on my boat so they could verify. Im a clean cut professional. I dont look like a criminal and I dont know many criminals who drive $100k cars. Absolutely ridiculous to be treated like that. On top of that, once we unwrapped the boat, the scratch I paid to have fixed wasnt touched. Ill never be back.

0 Stars is more appropriateI will never do business with Blue Springs Marine ever again. They lied to me the whole time and still charged me $970 for my motor that is still broke and did not fix the idle problem I originally took it in for and runs exactly the same way when I took it in. A new motor of a 9.9hp costs aprox $2500, so almost charged me half of what a new one would have cost. They kept throwing parts into it telling me that it would fix it, when they couldnt figure it out, they told me that the problem was too expensive to fix and not worth fixing after they already had $970 worth of parts and labor into it. what was happening is the mechanic is clueless and has no idea what they are doing. I trusted them since they are supposedly the professionals. I was originally told they could have it fixed in 7-10 days. I always had to call them and ask what was going on through out the 45 days they had it. When asked why I owed them $970 for a broken motor they didnt fix, the owner told me that they had to put a bunch of parts into it just to get it to run. That is another lie. I had the motor running on the lake the day before and multiple times before that. Blue Springs Marine does not care about their customer, has a very inexperienced mechanic, and has no problem to lie, steal and cheat you.

Bought my Chaparral there in 2013 from Rick Bailey. Came in a few months later he remembers my name when I come in. They provide excellent service and willing to answer all my questions! They were thorough in the walk-through and made sure I was comfortable with everything. Warranty service was top notch as was the free Winterization class. Its a long drive for me but well worth it.

BAD REPAIR SERVICEThey couldnt fix my boat and charged me a lot for that. They just threw parts at it and kept charging me. Finally, I got the repair manual and diagnostic equipment and did the clear step by step procedure in the manual for ignition diagnostic and found out the culprit in a half hour.

I would not return to blue springs marine. There are many other places to take your business. I was warned by others to not come here but I try to keep my business local. I learned the hard way. Tried to order a prop. Nothing complicated, I had all the info needed. After waiting a week they said I needed a replacement hub and it was an additional charge. I asked to cancel my order and get a refund. After 3 days I am still waiting for it to post to my account after I was told by Natalie it would post immediately. I went to US Boatworks and they had the prop in stock and that you did not need the replacement hub.

I called Blue Springs Marine to inquire about a boat I had seen on their website. I spoke with Chad Schaefer but I was not able to meet with him until later in the week.I called Sat. morning to inquire about the hours of operation and was told they were closing at noon, because of the Memorial Day Holiday. I arrived around 11:30 and met with Chad. He took me out to see the boat I had inquired about and went over every detail of the boat.He was pleasant, knowledgeable and took extra time and care to explain things to me, being a 1st time boat buyer. While I was aware of the early closing time, he never once made me feel rushed or that I was keeping him from leaving to start on his Holiday/Sadly, I did not purchase this particular boat, but I know that when the time comes I will be returning to Blue Springs Marine and looking to Chad to assist me with my purchase.Cindy Gill

Response to owner from my wifes (Heather Eslick) post.You refunded the inspection after I complained that you just sold my wife two new batteries without even offering a discount. That was also after your service department (Misty) got an attitude with me when I asked what the voltage reading was from my inspection. Her response was it started when we turned it on.To address the draining of the battery, the lights and radio no longer turn on, and the GPS still runs after turning the battery switch to off. Your mechanic actually made the problem worse. When asked why he didnt hook up the second battery, he responded with thats how it was brought in. I know both batteries were hooked up because I am the one who had to take a half day off work to install them... just to get my boat off the water.Then tested the battery system over the 10 days we had your boat. Yes you had my boat for over 10 days and never provided me with a quote before installing the new throttle and control. Misty wrote my email down wrong so I was unpleasantly surprised to find out I owe $700 and the problem was still not fixed.After calling in this morning and being told I would be charged for a fourth time to bring the boat back in, I decided to take my business elsewhere. This is not the first or second time you have apologized for me having a bad experience, but it will be the last time.
