Staff friendly and polite. Took in several items to sell and they did purchase a new pair of Easy Spirit flip flop style shoes and a pair of Clarks that had been worn about 10 times for $8.00 which was less than I expected. They want clothes less than 2 years old. Did not see any clothing over xl or size 20 pants. Some of the clothes I took in were from Amazon and Wish and looked just as stylish and in better condition than what I saw there but they did not purchase them just an FYI. Wont be returning

I visited this place in an attempt to sell two Dooney &Bourke purses. The sales person acted like I was suspect or something. She excused herself to the back room and when she returned, she asked me to give her a moment to look them over. When she called for me to come back, she offered me $20 for both, and said “the bags were outdated “! No joke, that’s what I though consignment stores were all about. There was very little new merchandise in this shop, and I saw a barrel style cloth Dooney similar to my pink leather one, in the display case? I won’t bother to expound on my thoughts about the quality of the stuff they have for sale. Just know,I picked up my bags and left. Later, I sold them on Offer Up for $30 each. I won’t waste my time with this place again.

I just love everything about this store. The owners are super nice and friendly people.Love the fact you can repurpose your stuff.They offer very far priced when buying your stuff and then pass that back when selling it.Just bought a beautiful silver and coral cross. It was signed by the maker.And their rewards program it the best.

First time visit with family we found good quality items, the place is not cluttered with junk, and prices were pretty decent.

I stopped in Beyond Exchange yesterday 6/13/19, & had the urge to come back today 6/14/19!! Absolutely love the new store (first time in since they moved) & Lyric, is the best there is!! She was such a huge help yesterday && today! Always fun chatting with her! I was, not only, able to get some great vacation pieces, but some awesome 😎 decor for my daughters Husker Dorm for this fall!I’ll definitely be a regular customer again! This place has decent prices and excellent inventory. I had no problem finding clothes in my style. I also spoke with someone from staff and had really pleasant conversation. The atmosphere is excellent. Over all this is a pretty cool place to go I would definitely check it out!

The prices were a little higher than what I was hoping for but still a great deal. Everything looked to be in very good condition and relatively new. The selection isnt huge but I was still able to find 3 pairs of jeans that fit comfortably. The lady working there was very nice. I will definitely return next time I need clothing for myself and I am recommending it to my friends.Also for anyone looking to sell clothes to them, just so you know they dont buy on Sundays! One poor guy left the store a little disgruntled with a bag of clothes he brought in to sell while I was there. The lady working was very nice about it though.

As some of the Higher End pieces aren’t as inexpensive as those at a thrift store, you won’t find any better conditions in there clothing anywhere else, unless you purchase them new. As far as a comment I read, these hardworking kind people are the polar opposite of dishonest! They know their brands well! They could sell them for a higher price, but they chose to stay affordable. And, do not compare BE as a thrift store, because it is NOT! You can’t even compare them to Plato’s Closet in the amount they give you when you chose to sell items to them! Try taking a brand new pair of Rock Revival Jeans with tags into PC, then to BE. See the difference yourself. I’ve been coming to BE since they opened. Nothing but friendly people there! Last night I brought my college bound daughter in with her boyfriend. They were skeptical at first, til they saw all of the throw back T’s that James always has on hand! Great locally owned business where we get great deals on name brand clothes and home accessories. They also give great prices when buying or trading for items. Their inventory is much nicer than any other shop at both locations. I highly recommend Beyond Exchange.

Don’t look forward to receiving a reasonable price on items you bring in.They will purchase your items for the lowest of lows $3-12 and then sell them in the store $50. Won’t be selling here again! Go to Plato’s Closet you’ll have better luck!

I got a purse from there on a Tuesday December 8th the next day I found out I had cancer I call the next day and asked if the could give me a refund refund I have my receipts and I didnt have time to use it again I called the next day they said no . I need that money for my up coming treatment . What a low class place not to help me they are clearly greedy . please dont ever go there if you where a woman going though something this horrible I would women when support other women and put this place out of business . please dont go there and I have just begun to let everyone know how they treat woman. Im not going to give this place any more than 2 stars and I have not even been there. I just called the store and whoever answered the phone was either 1/2 asleep or totally hates their job because they were not friendly at all, like I was putting them out by having to answer the phone. I was going to go and check this place out but not now. I guess someone could just be having a bad day but very unprofessional.

Update on the store, this store is a racially profiling store. They also cant take the good with bad comments. Shows me Im right about them, because any Legit business will take good with bad comments. They wont erase the bad comments and block someone from committing on there page. Im asking all my Kansas City Metro/Blue springs people to avoid shopping, and supporting this business! They are nothing more then a over priced thrift store!! Very very rude service, and Im not the only one that has had this issue! The snobbiest store ever. Brought in brand new bras, clothing that was barely worn and they would not take my clothing. Mind you I had CJ Banks, Liz Clairborne brands and my stuff was not good enough. The bras I brought in were brand new, never worn and Maidenform, Candies and Bali bras. My stuff was in excellent condition. I only went there one time, I will not be back. Id rather shop Goodwill or the Salvation Army then at that snobby store.

If you have stuff to sell don’t go on sundays because they don’t buy on sundays.

Sold me a fake mk bag, told me it was real. Took they word for it. Just be careful shopping here. They sell used Nikes for $119 when you can get the same brand new pair for $110.

Now yesterday I was in there (2nd post,just reposting what they erased) to give them a chance at my business. The store was neat, thats about the only good thing I can say. I saw a pair of shoes I liked, they of course was used. So I did not expect perfect shoes. I also did not expect these shoes, to have 1 gum on the bottom and not even be wiped down and cleaned up a bit.. $70 For some used Nikes that are dirty ...... Picked up another pair, that was worn out..... $40 For those.... They also dont seam to like Certain people in the store. This is not only coming from myself, I have seen other comments as well. You can do way better then this store!!

Went in on a Saturday evening at 5:40 to see if they would take some clothes. They stop selling at 6. When I walked in the lady working was super rude and acted annoyed I was there. She took my name and said it would be 15-20 mins. Literally 5 minutes later she said they wouldn’t take anything. When I asked why she said they aren’t taking wal-mart, target, old navy items and were looking for more brand name stuff. I had 3 tank tops from old navy and the rest were brand name from Mairice’s. Then she smirked and said have a great night. It’s ok if you don’t want to buy my clothes but there’s no reason to be rude and act annoyed because I’m there.

Its recently opened booty bad selection. Definitely doesnt have 3x or bigger clothing but new site great atmosphere music and staff.

Prices are okay but if youre looking to sell to them dont bother. Youre clothes might as well be brand new and theyll only give you maybe a quarter of what you paid.

The staff at the Blue Springs location are rude and disrespectful. After being met with horrible attitudes and blatant discrimination I vowed never to patronize any of their business. I just hope that no one else is met with this same treatment, but if you are dont attempt to write a review on their Facebook - they remove them if they dont like what youve written. Also, I gave them one star because you cant give a review anything lower for it to be submitted.
