Theyre too high on their prices and they dont care whether they make a sale or not. They were not very up-to-date with the new aircraft that is on the market I kind of think that they need to watch more videos and start selling the new stuff thats on the market you cant find the old style of blueprints for making your own aircraft its like it really dont care compared to the old stores granted hobbies are down but thats no reason to gouge the customer for more money otherwise not a bad place just that it should be better than it is

I love the staff at the hobby lobby, hold for one employee who couldnt sell me a 7 cut of fabric because he couldnt sell me something that wasnt an even fraction (1/2, 1/4, 1/8.) OK sir, I worked and Joanne and could have told you the fraction but fine.Overall though, I love this store.

I personally love the store and the selection that they have! You can come up with so many creative ideas! I have never been a creative person but I had the idea of making my boyfriend a personalized card this year for Valentines day so i went into Hobby Lobby and ideas just came flying! It has been alot of fun but... the first two times I went into the store, instead of buying online, the employees were rude! The first time I went in, I had asked an employee where something was and she looked at me like i was crazy because I was a few aisles away from what I was looking for, but no aisles are labeled so that makes it difficult.

Always a pleasant trip to Hobby Lobby. Its a large parking area, plenty of spaces to park (More than it needs). Its a very clean building, there are always shopping carts to grab and push around, and they are always well stocked. They always have what I go there to buy, with plenty of products for exploration of a new hobby.My only critique is there lines can move a little slow due because of the quantity customers will buy at time that each need to be scanned in individually.

Each and every aisle takes you on a different journey to far off lands to explore and lose sight of the amount of things your wife stuck in the cart! The DIY is endless and the Journey worth it! So many cool things!

Endless selection of crafting materials. The store and lot were clean. The entrance was clearly marked. The entry way was clean and unobstructed. Inside the store was clean and organised. The employees greeted me as I entered. The shelves had been recently stocked and replenished. Signage marked were you could locate items above shopping lanes. The restroom was clean and smelled clean too. The cashier was courteous and also asked if I found everything I needed.

On Friday 12/18, I purchased 2 rolls of wrapping paper. When I tried to wrap my gifts with the paper it was impossible because the texture of the paper was like sandpaper. No tape would work on it, including double faced.I took the one full roll and the opened roll. When I first went to the return counter the cashier, Kaitlynn G. explained I could not get a refund on the opened roll. I told her the inability to use this paper since nothing would stick to it. After looking at it Kaitlynn agreed the paper would be useless to wrap a gift. She decided under the circumstances she would discuss with a manager. She called for mgr assistance to Register 12. We waited for approximately 3 or 4 minutes while the line behind me grew. I told the cashier it was ok Id just take my refund on the one roll and go. Kaitlynn then asked a manager to call her register. Someone called and said they would need to see the paper. (Hence, thats why they were asked to COME to the register on the FIRST request). When the assistant manager Michelle arrived, she looked at the open roll, while the cashier explained my situation. Michelle hurriedly said no since it was opened and not a full roll....which it was, it just been cut and the unusable piece was there. By this time I did not want to debate with Michelle with the ever growing line. I got the refund on the one roll. This long explanation, is not about the refund but about customer service. The way the management responded or the lack of response. The cashier outshined the manager by a mile when it came to customer service.

They have alot of stuff but I was looking for a remote elec toy car never found it. associates would just watch u walk by not offering to help. not one person. said nothing.

Lets just say ive never been treated so bad. I went in to hobby lobby my first time ever to find frames for my daughters room. I had the sizes i need in my little note book. I got it out and was looking didnt find what i was looking for so i put my notebook back in my purse and left store. When i get in my car i see an old lady with short gray hair and glass staring at me threw window i thought ok that weared. I look to my left and there is a lady taking pictures of my tags. I was so mad i cussed her out an left. I should of stayed and waited for cops and instead of being insulted i would of been payed. I will never go back and i pray somthing comes of it because i will be suing. My license plate by the way is 4KCZ50 just incase you didnt get a good picture i will love to go to court and be paid

I was able to get in and out fairly quickly, but when I asked for help finding something the employee informed me that it was not her department and said said she doesnt know and walked away without offering help or anything. She just didnt want to be bothered evidently.

Double edged sword here, great selection, great prices, very few employees with a smile, and the store shows its age.

Hobby Lobby is a great craft store. Tons of Christmas stuff! I have Hobby Lobby 4 stars because the site does seem to always carry the same stuff. Im not very creative, but my wife send to find what she needs so Im happy for that reason!

They are beyond helpful! Amazing experience. I had an old framed guidon frame that had the corners peeling apart. This frame was completed at a different store out of state. It was falling apart from repeated moves. I thought it was done, but they were able to piece it back together better than new. They even added the wire hanger in back and as a last minute touch of class and generosity, they even gave me wall hangers to hang it on the wall, free of charge! Now that is what I call first class VIP customer service. This was my first interaction with them and they have definitely earned a customer.

Great products, manager was a bit crabby to customers, she would stand in the checkout isle clearly in your way and bark orders for you to move back for her safety, but continue to stand in the way as it was your turn to move forward.

While this store is quite large it is mostly filled with furniture/home decor. There is a decent selection of hobby items but not as extensively as the size of the store would imply.

Employees were unfriendly

I wanted to write and let you know how rude your Blue Springs MO store employees are. I come in weekly and buy probably 15-30 shirts they get mad when I buy large amounts of shirts because the lady in charge of ordering isn’t smart enough to stock up on the shirts I get weekly. I don’t know what shirts I need until orders come in I buy my stock weekly. She said in front of the entire line “I was told to tell you, you need to start ordering these by rain check” um excuse me no I don’t why would it matter who is buying them if they are getting bought just keep up on your stock and it wouldn’t be a problem! I willNo longer shop the Blue Springs location thank you Lee’s Summit and Independence for always being soNice and helpful I will continue to buy from those locations.

They have plenty of things for your crafting needs. Its more affordable than some of its competitors but of course that depends on the item. The store isnt the easiest to navigate-save from a few aisles, the rest of the place is a bit random.My BIGGEST complaint would have to be the checkout. 2 cashiers but they are probably the slowest cashiers. The one that we had was a younger guy and instead of scanning items he typed in the codes individually which added to the time consumption but also made you wonder if he was getting things right when it came to the prices. The receipt is a bit of a joke because it doesnt tell you the item description/name so you have no clue whats what unless you only bought a handful of items

Spacious craft store with loads of home decor in many different styles. They have fabrics, including upholstery, a framing department, floral, all sorts of hobby supplies, and a large selection of seasonal decor and craft items. Parking lot with handicap spaces out front, as well as a handicap accessible restroom. Friendly staff, frequent sales on various items. Its my favorite craft store!
