Ive dealt with Smith Brake for years, always having a great experience. They are honest, and great at what they do. I wouldnt recommend anyone else to repair/replace brakes on my familys vehicles.

I had my back and front brakes done here at a very affordable rate. They will look at the vehicle call you with a price, if they run into a problem will call you before proceeding and tell you and tell you the price. They are very pleasant and knowledgeable with great customer skills. I will definitely return should there be any new or old issues.

Excellent service and affordable! I took my car in to have the ball joints replaced and they were so friendly and personable. I dropped my car off at 730am and they called 2 hours later saying all done and saved me about $200 over the other guys! They really care about their customers being satisfied! I highly recommend them!

Fantastic service!! I had an 8am appointment and was out of there in about an hour! The price they quoted me was what I paid. No hidden charges and they didn’t try to sell me something I didn’t need. They were all friendly and helpful but most importantly they are honest. I will definitely recommend them to everyone!!

Amazing! My usual mechanic told me I needed new front & rear brakes/rotors; I was given a quote of nearly $600. I called Smith & they not only fit me in despite being very busy (I was driving out of state & needed them done ASAP), & they completed the work in barely an hour!!! I was then told my front brakes were fine & I had only needed the rear ones done. It cost a small fraction of what I was going to pay my mechanic. Thank you so much, I’m so grateful to have found such a competent, efficient, friendly & HONEST service center!!!

You’re not gonna find a more reliable place, i dropped my car off via tow truck after being stuck for about 4 hours and they had a convenient key drop off box, with a pen to fill out your information on the envelope, i got a call within 2 hours of them being open and everything was ready to pick up, not only did they fix my brakes faster than any place around, the price was fair, and everything was very well explained and i really appreciated that. if you want a brake shop that will give you the best price, the best service, and best customer service you should go to smith brake in boardman i’ll be giving them my business from now on. Called and made an appointment for complete brake replacement on front and rear. I arrived a little before 8 am appointment and they had my car finished before 10 am. They were very friendly and only used high quality parts which means all to me. I will be recommending them to people we know.

This was my first visit to Smiths. After another shop treated me horribly wrong, I decided to give this place a try with my older classic show car. I had been having reduced performance with my brakes. They took me in on a weekend, test drove it before and after, and were very honest. They even called me and confirmed my appointment they day before. The service was very quick. They didnt try to swindle me. I would highly recommend them. I plan on using their services in the future if needed.

If i could give them more then 5 stars i would. I read the good reviews online and decided to go there instead of the dealership. I took my Kia Soul there and in no time the brakes were brand new.Not only was the work done right and prompt but the customer service at the shop is fantastic. Trust me why go to the dealer and pay more and get it done wrong? You definitely want to come here for all youre brake needs.

Friendly and honest family owned mechanic shop. Youll get whatever you need done, done quickly and at a fair price and wont get the runaround trying add to the bill. Whatever you say you want done theyll do and wont push you for anything else. Not many shops like this so honest and helpful. If they cant fix it theyll send you to another place just as honest and fair.

#1 HONEST! I thought I may have needed new brakes and rotors so I took my car here. After taking my tires off and checking them I was informed that my brake pads had plenty of life left on them and to maybe come back in the spring and they will check them again. In my opinion there is nothing better than honest, hard working people. I will definitely take my car back here again.

I had my vehicle towed there and they were able to fix my locked up brakes and repair my car in a timely manner while i waited .....the price unbelievable. I will not go any where else. Im a bit embarrassed to leave this review so long after I had my brake service. I had my brakes done last year and they are still working great. As long as Im in the area I wont go any place else for brake service. I wish all repair shops were run this way with fast, friendly, professional, honest, and good service. No games, scams, schemes, or gimmicks. Just good service with a smile. Ladies, this is a clean, honest lady-friendly repair shop where your brakes will be done right the first time. You dont have to worry about being ripped off there.

By far, the most honest and friendly shop around. Ive lived in Columbus for 5+ years now and still get my brakes, wheel bearings, diagnostics done ONLY at Smith Brakes. The previous owner, Jim, built a fantastic business and his son-in-law, Jay, has taken over and does just as great of a job.They are honest, use the best materials and replacement parts that money can buy, have the BEST prices youre going to find, and get your car fixed as quickly as possible. I just drove the 3 hours to get my front brakes and back left wheel bearing replaced - dropped my Subaru off at 8:30am and it was ready for pickup at noon the same day. Truly hard to find with repair shops. Jay and his team provide excellent service and take the time to explain what they see and dont try to upsell you.Theres a reason why my family has been going exclusively to Smith Brakes for 20+ years. 5 out of 5 stars.

When you need your brakes done, and done quickly and reliably, this is the only place to stop. I originally heard about this place from a customer when I was picking up my usual K-Cups and coffee from Marlowes Coffee. Since that meeting, more than one person has confirmed what this customer originally told me. I finally took my vehicle in for service (at 7am!!!), and it was done the same day. The brakes looked good, but they performed even better, and at half the cost of the dealership. The parts installed were quality parts that I would have installed myself had I had the time. I am very pleased and would recommend this to my friends.

I took my GMC Envoy in on 6/19/17. My experience was just perfect. Honest, fair prices and great, friendly service. So nice to support a local business that appreciates their customers and treats them well. I ended up only needing front brakes and that is all I was charged for. Im sorry to say if I went to a big name place they probably would have done all the brakes even if I didnt need them! Ill never go anywhere else! I wish they did all auto repairs so I could just use them. Jim is awesome!

Amazing! Had a van fixed there about 2 years ago and did wonderful job! Today thought brake line busted, had it towed there using a company he recommended, turns out it wasnt brake line, but he made sure that car was safe to drive and didnt charge me but $5 for the brake fluid he put in (it was low) and double checked everything before I drove it. Turns out it was antifreeze so he couldnt do it. But was wonderful to me two times now and I will never go elsewhere for any brake issues!!!!
