Ive had 2 transmissions replaced by them. Great work and parts

First I was told it was $600. Then it jumped to $1500. And then I was told I needed an entire new engine and that was another $3000. Took it to another place hand golly Gee, the engine was just fine and the transmission needed repaired not replaced.

My experience started out horrible with the owner. We got a transmission put in and within a month it went bad. Shifted hard, made loud noises and was just a constant worry. Luckily, Abby and Eddie were there to pick up the slack. They had the car a week and now it runs great. No noises, no jerking into gear, Eddie got the car running smooth.

Dont believe the 5 star rating! They dont even deserve 1 star!!!Redlich Transmissions in Youngstown Ohio are the biggest ripoff artists Ive ever met. In the past Ive gone to shops and suspected that I was getting ripped off but until now I was never 100% sure!Their 90 day warranty is hilarious. Ninety days is short enough that they are confident their work should last at least that long so they dont have to honor a warranty. They will say the 90 day warranty is on the parts and that the parts are only giving them a 90 day warranty. They will say they will cover the cost of the part but youll have to pay for the labor. It just so turns out that the cost they are charging for labor is the same cost that other shops charge for the part plus the labor and will still only give you 90 day warranty when other shops give a 1 yr warranty, so they dont loose anything. Actually they would make a profit because what youd be paying for them to redo the job includes parts and labor anyway.Now that Im thinking about it, If I had gone before the 90 days were up, they probably would have given me the same deal because they would say the 90 days is on the parts and would charge for labor, the same as what they are telling me now.On their website, they have reviews that say things like excellent service, honesty and value, cares about there customers. Give me a break!Dont turn out like me, an angry customer because you had to pay again for a job that never should have failed, and theres nothing you can about it except try to prevent others from trusting Redlich Transmissions.

Marc and his team did a fantastic job of rebuilding the transmission in my 1995 Dodge Dakota pick up truck. This truck means a lot to me and they brought it back to its original driving specifications. Job well done!

I was told by Taylor Kia service dept I needed new axel and possibly transmission. Took my suv here to see if they could do job cheaper. They said they couldn’t fix it because there was nothing wrong with it. I then took suv to another transmission shop and they told me same thing as Redlich. Thank you Redlich Transmission for being honest and not charging me to fix something that wasn’t broken just to make money off me. Highly recommend.

Not too bad, had a clutch replaced & everything worked tip top after that. Well the slave cylinder went a year later, but that wasnt related & I could change that myself :)

Do not use this company. Very poor service. Had transmission and torch converter replaced with 3 year warrantee. 3 months later flywheel came loose and was knocking like crazy. They wanted $900.00 to fix it. The problem was they didnt tighten the bolts enough to the converter causing it to knock. The owner wouldnt even talk to me.After speaking to 3 mechanics from different shops they said clearly the transmission was improperly installed.

Fixed my girlfriends transmission, runs like new, awesome service.

Very horrible service took my van in with a iratic speedometer 2600$ later and now it slips in every gear and speedometer is still broke paid for a full rebuild and technician didnt change any two 10$ sensors on the front of transmission 2600$ and they dont change 2 10$ parts
