And based on my experience I will never go to any other device company than Microsoft or any other store besides this one!
Had an system/account issue last night. Freaked out. Then realized that this store was open. Made an appointment online and ran over. All the staff were welcoming. There was something weird going and Oscar knew a solution. Life saver. Made it out the door just as they were closing. Thank you for top notch care at the late hour.
They do a good job making sure you leave happy. Jean provided great service for a tech issue that I was having and was able to resolve my issue completely even though I was out of warranty.Other associates in the store saw we were in the store for a while and offered us water, soda and juice as well. Very happy with this location and I will definitely be back to this location as I upgrade additional tech.
Poor experience on my visit... management and corporate executive directors over the stores need to revisit why no JD Power Awards??I would love to talk with upper mgmt to describe my feedback in detail and my experience today. The store doesnt run on Jean only as per many positive experience, takes a team. Keep in mind the competitor is next door and you are competing to win best in class customer service experience.
Wonderful! Not only are there fantastic products for sale here but the people working here are very helpful and knowledgeable. I made an appointment to get help syncing contacts through outlook and they spent over an hour helping me and eventually fixed the problem! The employees are not afraid to take as long as needed to help you!
I was initially dreading coming into the store for a tech problem (as most people are.) Jean made the process easy and was able to provide great service for me. He definitely went above and beyond to turn a one time purchase that had an issue into a long term customer.
I didnt have an appointment, so I had to wait about an hour for technical assistance, but I was given a place to work while I was waiting and water when I was thirsty. Everyone was very courteous and helpful describing products I had an interest in without pressure to buy. When technician was available, he took care of the issues quickly and explained everything he had to do to resolve issues. No charge. Thanks.
Amazing store this was my first time ever going there and I was most impressed with their products. The laptops and tablets were phenomenal they were very intuitive and easy to use. The place was clean and well maintained and the staff was very comfortable and informed. 👍👍👍👍
This was my first time visiting the Microsoft Store in the Town Center at Boca Raton Mall. I was greeting by two very friendly, professional associates, Kevin and Meike, who quickly helped answer some Microsoft 10 Home software questions that I had. I was impressed with how they went above the call to help me. Meike was technically knowledgeable about the Microsoft Surface Laptops, processor capabilities and expandability options. I would definitely recommend my family and friends on visiting the store.
These guys were super helpful. Not the least dismissive, really nice set of employees. They really know what customer service is about! If you need help go into this store. Don’t call Microsoft, completely different experience. Fixed my surface in less than a day!
Called the store prior to get a general trade-in value for my phone LgV40 and the rep told me he couldnt get an exact cost over the phone because a technician needed to evaluate the item for an exact quote, but said as long as the phone is newer and in good condition I should get at least $500.When I arrived at the store a salesperson (not a technician) looked up my phone (didnt touch it or even remove from the case) on a computer and said it was worth $70. I am so upset that I wasted my time because I drove all the way from Wellington.After explaining to the manager how upset I was about this he explained that my phone was not part of the $650 trade in program. This made me even more upset because they could have told me that over the phone!
I walked in upset about a draining battery during a busy work period and, within a few days, had a new computer with all my files transferred (Chris, you are my hero) and had met more nice, helpful people in one place than I had ever experienced before: Allie and Arlene and Kevin and on and on. I walked in determined never to buy another Surface and now I am in love with my Surface all over again. Thanks, guys!
After getting in contact with Microsoft support I was able to get a replacement for my Surface Pro 4 the same day at this store. With the help of the friendly and helpful tech guy, David, I even had my typecover cleaned. Extremely satisfied with my visit.😊

Drove from Jupiter to take a look at the surface studio and 15” surface book for my business. No stores carry these models on display..As I was checking out the functionality of the surface book an associate yanked it from my hands without explanation, and then went on to say inventory was soon and didn’t want to end up fired. Did he believe I was going to steal it?He Locked the computer up and walked away. How the heck am I going to buy something I can’t test? What a bad sales move and rude, all to protect his job.Horrible experience for a first visit. No way to treat a potentional customer. Let’s just say I’ll be sticking with dell for my business needs.
There is always enough employees to give excellent customer service. The Assistant manager pam is always willing to go the extra mile and help with products and services offered at the store.
I was there to buy a laptop. Brian, one of the Microsoft rep, told me they can order from another store. I recieved a phone call one week later and was told it had arrived. On my way to the store, I was told that there was another customer needed it, and they would ship a new one overnight if I was willing to accept a 100 dollar gift certificate. After that, I never heard back from them despite trying to contact them. No success calling into the store. All calls get routed to a main answering center and they said the store does not pick up.
One of the managers was super nice about swapping/upgrading a Surface Pro 4 I had bought from Frys in California, and went seriously out of his way to help me out right there in the store. Top notch folks in there -- couldnt be happier!

Told something different over phone and after a 40 minute drive I was told it was just a miscommunication and they wouldnt honor what they told me over the phone. I didnt get her name but the one associate dealing with me was extremely nice (wasnt her fault) but the others were rude and the manager couldnt even speak to me directly
On May 9th I called Microsoft in a panic because the screen on my Dell XPS went dark. The rep was excellent. He made an appointment for me at the Town Center Mall location immediately. He was funny and he calmed me down and told me that, no promises, it sounded like just the screen, a hardware issue.I walked into the Town Center mall location 10 minutes after speaking to the rep on the phone and was seen right away. Michael helped me at the store. He plugged my laptop into a monitor so I could see that I hadnt lost any of my files, which was a huge relief. He even allowed me to back my files up to the portable hard drive I had with me. He gave me an estimate to repair my laptop and he told me about the latest model of my Dell XPS laptop. He also reminded me that I have 1G free storage on OneDrive and we saved my files there, also.I didnt spend a dollar there that day but what I got was priceless. I bought my laptop there several years ago and I will buy my next one there, too.

If you need actual support with your Microsoft devices, just ship your stuff back to Microsoft. The store is useless. Brought in my 8 month old Xbox for service. Very much under warranty. The lady asked if I had already done a factory reset and I said yes. She said there was nothing else she could do and that I had to leave it for evaluation for 5 days. Was never offered a replacement. When I asked about a replacement instead of having to wait, the lady acted as if I was asking for charity. Said she’d go look if there are any available in the back. Disappeared for 10 seconds and came back saying there were no replacement consoles. Then told me I had to ship it to Microsoft for repair.God bless apple for their customer service. Cause these people suuuuck
I took my laptop to this store on 4/11/2019 @ 1030 since it likely needed a hard drive. I paid $49 for the back up data and left. I got a call from David on 4/13/2019 who stated it did need a hard drive and it would likely be ready Sunday 4/14. I asked if I could call after 2 PM to check on status if I had not gotten a call and he confirmed that would be alright.So Sunday after 2 PM, I called 7 times, reaching somebody in India who could not find any of my credentials that evidenced a repair and he transferred me to another person- Kamisa who knew less that him. I tried again and spoke to Sarah, somewhere in the USA. I gave her my case number, email address and she confirmed that while they had not as yet called, it was according to her records, ready for pick up. She gave me an appointment and I made the 33 mile one way drive to recover my laptop.On arrival, I was told by Fernanda that it was in fact NOT ready. When I started questioning the appointment, confirmation that it was ready according to Sarah, Fernandas colleague Overton(?) interjected that I should have known from the start that they would call and completely rejected out of hand my comment that a MicroSoft employee, namely Sarah confirmed the laptop was ready and provided me with an appointment, followed by a lot of arm waving as if to justify his comment.I do not accept this as service on any level except terrible and Overton should not deal with the public at large unless he receives remedial training in the basics of customer service. Further, as of now, I have not gotten any call from that store so the clock is still ticking....now over 49 working hours since I left it with them. When they do call I will be asking the name of the store manager so I may speak to him/her on my arrival to recover my laptop followed by my commitment that I will never rely on them again.Malcolm S Richards

First time Microsoft service has made me feel they actually value my business & that there service can be on par with there rivals! Jimmy was great, I ordered a Xbox one s online from another retailer and received it with what seems to be a common issues for this model (noisy grinding sounding fan) I used it for half a day in various positions and noise was still louder then a ceiling fan while console was idle. Unfortunately I didnt have time to ship back and return for an exchange due to the fact Im traveling out of the country for an extended period of time and was told that a Microsoft store would exchange the unit for me.jimmy explained that they really arent allowed to when its bought from a 3rd party and still under return policy period but he understood my issue and consulted with a manager who was able to approve the exchange for me! New unit is whisper quite and I can leave the country with peice of mind in my new entertainment console. Jimmy if you see this thanks again bro! Awesome to see Microsoft taking care of its customers finally! Was almost going to return it and forget it because of ptsd from the 360 ring of death but you guys got my buisness
Because when I was in this store for the first time they had my favorite game Forza Horizon 3, but when I came the next month, it was gone and it was because it changed. So I quit Microsoft and never gone there again to waste mine or anyones time!
There are plenty people there to help you and whenever I had a problem with my surface book the exchange was always fast and efficient. I read some complaints about me and hung up on but when you call the stores for Microsoft it send you To a call center.The employees here I have always been very nice and professional

I got an email from Microsoft saying that they buy my Apple device to switch to Microsoft and I got excited about it because I have a MacAir and Ive always wanted a Surface. I went to the Microsoft store located at Boca Raton Town Center and I was unfortunate enough to be received by Kevin. I told him about the email and even without saying hi he said well, it says you can get up to $850 but it doesnt mean youll get that! Then I said well can you tell me how much I can get for my Mac? He said I dont know thst by heart, I need to get to the system He started to try to check with a very rude and mean attitude and after several minutes trying to find the model and information on my Mac that he couldnt get I got really frustrated and left the store. Thank you Microsoft, nice try but now Ill stay with my Mac. At least I wont have to deal with that type of customer service.

Sent my SP4 in for replacement, used a proxy as unable to physically go myself. I have Microsoft Complete. They refused an in store replacement/upgrade, though Ive already troubleshooted with Chat Support. Held device for evaluation. Promised to contact me, but have not. They told my proxy 3 days later that it would be replaced along with the deductible. No further communication. Called on day 8, was told they have no models in stock, they wont be getting any new models and there is no ETA on when they will receive a replacement device. Rep on the phone hung up on me while I was still asking questions. Well call you when we have your replacement in store *click* I need my device for work, and am being inconvenienced and noone seems to care. I had arranged for the replacement device to be retuned overseas to me, that plan has been thwarted. This is Day 11. How is this acceptable?

Last week I decided to upgrade my perfectly functioning $1200 Desktop PC to windows 10. It is my workhorse. I rely on it constantly for my photo and video editing education and business. I heard 10 had good reviews and I figured it wouldnt be much trouble. I buy it at my local Best Buy, just so that I have it on a USB 3.0 so that the installation would have less issues. I get home and that night I try to install Windows 10 a dozen times. Each install abrubtly ending with no error code to find the root of the problem. After another day of research and instillation attempts I decide to bring it into this Microsoft store for assistance.I make an appointment, drive 45min to the mall, carry a lunky 30lbs desktop from the parking lot to the store and show up on time for my appointment. After explaining my issue they are quick to say that they can not help me at this time. That I need to leave my PC at the store for 3-4 days so that their tech team can run diagnostics and fix the install issue. (They promised to get it back to me in 2 days if I spent over $150 on some VIP rewards system) I agree to the 3-4 day free repair, nervous that I have to leave my workhorse behind for so long. I would have a lot of work to catch up on when I got it back.4 days later I call the store to check up on the service, anxious, because I have not gotten a phone call or email saying that my PC is ready for pickup. So I call them to see whats up.After 30min of being shifted around in their automated call center I get to speak to someone who actually works at the store. They say they are glad that I had called because a technician has some questions for me. They transferred me to him and he talks about how windows is installed, but my computer simply wont boot up anymore. He guesses its a major hardware failure (that I didnt have prior to going to Microsoft) Rendering it completely useless untill he sends it off to get fixed by someone more skilled in different location.He says hell run diagnostics and call me that night just to be sure. The next day he calls me and says I need to come in to sign off on the shipment of my computer. I make another appointment and drive back there to sign off on the shipment. As I enter the store the manager greets me and asks me to take a seat. He then talks down to like Im a 14 year old kid trying to get his Xbox fixed. Im 21. over 6 feet tall. I have a beard. I own a dishwasher. Idk why this guys reassuring voice is that of a preschool teacher, but it all felt rather unprofessional. He even calls me by the wrong name twice. Then he goes off and HOSTS AN E3 LIVE STREAM EVENT IN THE STORE. RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME. Just as I was about to sign off on this thing. The whole thing took 30 mins before he found time to actually help me again. I pay $50 bucks for the shipment and services. And I ask for the third time about how long it might take. This time (after payment) he grants me with the answer. 3-4 WEEKS. I DONT GET MY WORKHORSE BACK FOR A FULL MONTH. NOT TO MENTION ALL THE WASTED TIME MONEY AND EFFORT I ALREADY PUT IN.AND I JUST WANTED WINDOWS 10.The store looks cool and it might even be fun to hang out in. But if youre a professional looking to get serious help with your windows pc...GO SOMEWHERE ELSE
