Cashiers talking back and forth about how they didnt want to be at work. None of us love it but you shouldnt be talking about with customers standing there.

If the sign says, Please wear a mask or shield, or no entry. Then, the establishment should adhere to the policy set forth. Otherwise, what is the point of the sign?

Pay no attention to the last review from Vanessa Cotton . This woman is not nice. She doesnt understand there is a worker shortage and wants to be rude to employees... I have never been to this business but if the employees are like me they have been worked to death with very little time off. This lady dont care about anyone but her self.

Ordered a bday cake for my sister..someone dropped the ball and the cake was not made fresh..we had to get one out of the cooler..Great Store..

Typical grocery store except at this one you think your getting a great deal then at the register they add 10% to your bill which is the amount you thought you were going to be saving! Restrooms are up stairs so be prepared. Other than that good place to grab a thing or two if youre in a hurry.

Clean buis ess, ran professionally, awesome prices plenty of choices with bakery cooked specialties, its the place I get my groceries.if I could make a commercial it would be for blue Bell ice cream and Food Depot, have a blessed day, always have a big dream and be a eater of BlueBell ice cream lol.

The cashiers never smile and they are not friendly in the least bit.

Good points, Lots of variety at reasonable prices. Bad points. Produce was wet and not very fresh, and only two check outs open with long lines waiting.

Foods r reasonably cheap & can easily find whatever it is ur looking for. Wish I could order it & pick it up today or tomorrow. Good place to shop

The food selection is pretty good and the sales are as well. A couple of the cashiers, however, could take the joy out of a FREE shopping experience. Other cashiers are great, but you never know which youre going to get at checkout. Some customer service training could potentially help this store greatly.

They need better management we was in there last night around 6pm one cashier has a line all but to the meat department and the manager on was outside talking it was horrible. The poor cashier was doing her best but Food Depot is a big grocery store for one little cashier to run the whole store

Good place to get last minute things also great prices on their products with the new store hrs as well in case you need to get some late night food to prep there the ones i would chose nice people from what i seen.

The plus 10% gets me every time. Some prices are cheaper but when you add the plus 10% are you really saving? No, but most of the time its faster to go there than stand ten minutes at wal marts self checkout or 20 minutes standing in line with a cashier...

Best store in town

Prices look cheap but they add 10% on and that is not a tax. The particular day that I went they had something reduced but it was still ringing up as the full price. The Isles were blocked where you couldnt even get a cart through it to shop. Definitely a fire hazard. I spoke to management they were extremely rude. The problem was not addressed professionally. It was an assistant manager I spoke to, the regular managers are very nice. I doubt if I will be going back in there anytime soon because of the rudeness of the assistant manager. The prices are not that great.

Its a great Store to shop

Must watch expiration dates on ALL items. Some items should have been removed weeks before. Okay for quick pick up of bread or buns etc.

I usually brag about this place, even with the 10% markup at the register. I havent had much to brag about lately, as far as the food is concerned. The do have some of the sweetest cashiers on the planet.

Food Depot has got my last Dollar! I wont be back. Produce was empty and a wreck, out of lots of items, shelves havent been straightened in God knows when! Floors dirty and dingy looking. You pay a 10 percent sur charge to shop there. No matter how you are paying; Cash, Debit, Credit, Check, Food Stamps, you pay that 10 percent charge. You also pay another 10 percent in sales taxes for the city of Bogalusa. So your not saving any money shopping with Food Depot! If anything there taking 20 percent on top of their prices for taxes and a sur charge to shop there. Wont Be Back!

Cashier was not pleasant. Regular customer behind me in line commented he had shopped there for years and this particilar cashier has always been surly.

We usually try to shop local and fooddepot has good prices on most items. Im not one to normally complain, I work in customer service myself so I understand some days can be trying. Unfortunately not all of their cashiers have mastered the art of customer service. They will talk about you in a very derogatory manner while your standing there. They do not treat the customers with respect at all, they act like customers are a problem because now they have to do their actual job. Then they move on to Facebook to slander and antagonize a fight after any confrontation. I wont be spending anymore money there, nor will my family. I hope in the future they will hold their employees to some type of standard.

Great prices, and a wide selection is what keeps me coming back. This store is never crowded, which leads to a pleasant shopping experience.

Horrible...on 4/21/18Store wouldnt honor 1.48 on Quaker Oaks cereal...told us the only way we were to get it for that price we had to use the coupon.After using the $3 off coupon the cereal wasnt ringing up for 1.48. Cashier was really rude and both on duty managers agreeded to her statement. I shop there alot and knew it wasnt true!Ended up being overcharged$36 and returning the cereal.Very disappointed...asked for the home office number and the mamager stated that they didnt have one... God will take care of them but I feel sorry for the elderly and the people who cant read or comprehend that shop there.

The usual cashier was in a horrible mood. Complained of our baby in the basket and the fact she had to ring up another WIC. Then asked, since I was using food stamps, if I had enough to pay for it if the food stamps were short. Actually covered her ears when the baby was squealing. She was also very rude when talking to the manager, Josh. Very bad attitude.
