Shane provided arguably the most pleasant purchase experience I have ever had with a car dealership. I was coming from out of state for a specific manual-spec car. He was patient to text back and forth with me over a week, and to work with a family member who lived near by to preview for me. After I felt comfortable we negotiated a very fair price and he took a deposit over the phone. When I arrived the car and paperwork were all waiting for me, the car was in the showroom and looked brand new. Shane is unassuming and trustworthy- 5 stars!

Shane would not delete my daughters drivers license (which he requested to hold a car) from his phone in front of us as we requested. That was very underhanded.He didnt want to show us the Carfax for the car we were interested in. When we insisted, we discovered the car was in an accident and it has 2 prior owners and was not serviced by its recommended dealer.From.my experience, my advice is approach with caution and request written proof of anything he says, as his credibility appears sparse and maybe even non existent.

I was driving my car on Sunrise Hwy and got a flat tire unfortunately, but was able to pull onto the service road and find “Performance Auto”. Shane and the guys there were so sweet and let me know although they are not a repair shop, they would help me out since I had a flat and was on my way to work. Someone quickly put my spare on my car for me and told me they could match my tire if I wanted to get it fixed there even though they normally only deal with their own customers and not the public. I came back the next day, and it was ordered and done in one day. I am super thankful!!

Ok so here’s my review with this dealership & Shane . Upon purchasing a Jeep Wrangler at this dealership Shane’s famous line is “fully functional but not new” ….he did not mention the PRIOR issues the truck had. I also came and saw reviews before Purchasing (instructed by Shane) - they’re good … but too me personally not good in reality . I couldn’t have stressed it enough that I needed a truck that was reliable, I am a single female with no mechanical knowledge & I was reassured . SECOND day after purchase, the engine light turns on . Shane instructs me to bring her in to get her checked out . I do as told, he says they fixed the CATS and took the engine light off . The NEXT day, the engine light turns on- Shane says to bring the truck in, I do as told once again & he says it is the 02 censor ….. long story short, Here I am another $2,000 just to get her running again - timing chain, spark plugs, cylinder misfire, new oil pan, tire rods, new gaskets, new alternator, the list goes on . Take in mind it is june & I bought the truck in April - this truck had PRIOR issues . So due to the fact it is June, Shane informs me he can not help me and reiterated “fully functional not brand new”

Bought a jeep from this dealership, next day of purchasing the engine light came on. I went back to the dealership the mechanic said it was the o2 sensor, he changed it but the engine light still was back on. After Shane told me to go in again, I decided to go to another mechanic and get an opinion . The mechanic not associated with this dealership said the truck was basically falling apart little by little, $2,500 down the drain & Shane claims he did not know of the jeeps issue . THE TRUCK HAD THESE ISSUES PRIOR but was covered up .

I got a car about a year back from them and wanted to drive it for a while before giving it a review. The car was really nice for +150,000 miles the only problem was that my window on the driver side wasnt working at first which they did fix fast and the tire was losing air slowly which they fixed but at the least these problems should have been realized before selling the car. Now I know they did not need to fix these problems because the car had a lot of miles on it and those arent “major problems” but it was nice that I could text shane the main seller there and get it resolved fast.

Long story short dealer makes promises and does not deliver. Dealer promised issues would be resolved and they were not . Truck picked up with pending emmison codes. When codes came back dealer swapped some parts and told me it was fixed. Code came back as soon as computer rest. When I reached back out to Shane he began giving me the run around . I did not feel comfortable letting them work on the truck again. Buyer beware.

Like any sane person, I waited a little while before writing a review for a used car dealership. (You never know when something might go wrong!)Went to Performance to look at a Wrangler they had on their website. Knowing how expensive Wranglers are, and after patiently searching for a used one both at dealerships and privately for years (3, to be exact), I was almost sure the price was too good to be true considering the condition and low mileage.Rob was great. I was not pushed or prodded to make a rash decision. In fact, I came multiple times and tried my hardest to drive the guys in there mad. In the end, I bought the car at an INCREDIBLY fair price. The truck is in excellent condition (people keep asking me if its brand new!) and Rob handed over every bit of paperwork and CarFax he had to prove the value of the car. Overall, very up-front guys.Dont be surprised if you cant talk them down on price, however - they price their vehicles mostly within fair market value, and they know it.

I was pleased with how attentive they were to sell the car. I bought a Jeep Grand Cherokee and they assisted with a lot of things b4 the car was sold. Repaired the leather seat, fixed the front windshield and repaired the oil leak. It was missing a key fob that was promised to me as well and the hands free was not working. I brought it to there attention before leaving the day of purchase. They promised to repair hands free and provide missing key fob. I called several times, left message for Shane and the owner even promised to call me back and to date... no return calls. Highly disappointed in the service after the car was purchased.

I bought a 2009 Nissan Rogue for my 18 year old daughter about 4 weeks ago. The car looks great and I believe we got a good price on the vehicle. We have had to take it back several times for some minor adjustments, but the service has been wonderful. More aggravation on our part, but we have always been greeted nicely, and told they would take care of things. So far, they have. We are keeping our fingers crossed that nothing major will go wrong. I went there to look at the HUMMER they have, I spent 3 hours looking over the truck, it had a few problems with it, he told me to write down anything wrong with it and he will fix it ALL until it is the truck I want. WOW, NOW THATS SERVICE! They didnt even hesitate to making me a happy customer. I put the deposit down ($100) and they started doing all the repairs, Unfortunately I didnt get the cash and couldnt buy the car, but would buy and trust them 100%.

I searched for quite some time and found some seriously shady dealers with bad reviews that would confirm that uneasy feeling which would lead me to just pass them up. I didn’t want to buy a vehicle where I’d drive down the road in my shiny new ride only to have the wheels fall off a week later.I finally stumbled upon Performance Auto. They had a vehicle I really wanted so I dove into reviews. Now I’m not naive enough to think there is a perfect car dealer and with used vehicles I know sometimes things just don’t work out so I expect to read bad reviews... but I read them to see what the issue was... and I really study the dealers response. I felt reassured that Performance Auto was the kind of dealer I was looking for.Turns out I was right! The buying experience was a pleasure. No pressure at all. Shane was responsive to my initial inquiries and provided all the info I was looking for. I went down a couple of days later to see the vehicle I wanted. Shane happily let me look it over, handed me keys, went with me for a test drive and most importantly listened to me. The vehicle was in great shape, was a fair deal and I requested a few minor things be taken care of if I purchased. Not only did they take my requests seriously, they addressed each of them AND replaced a few things I hadn’t necessarily considered or noticed.I picked up the vehicle with new tires, fresh brakes, new rear struts, a fresh oil change and a new antaenna. They are even making sure I get an extra set of keys just because. All of this within a 24 hour turn around. I could not be happier with the service I received here by Shane and the rest of the staff.Dealers take note... THIS is the way to treat a customer. Don’t take short cuts or pull fast ones... you will garuntee that you will not make a new customer you will make a former one. Performance Auto gets it. Make the customer happy, sell them what they want and do everything above board. Went with my brother to buy his first car. Basically got the traditional car salesman swindle. He bought a Jeep Cherokee that seemed to run fine, but still had me a little concerned. The salesman gave him a warranty, just so we know its safe. Got home, within 2 days the car was screaming. We brought it to our mechanic who told us the tranny was shot, that it had just been polished up to look nice.We brought it back and the same guy tells us its not covered by the warranty. Later talking to the mechanic the warranty basically covered things that would never actually happen to a car from basic use. Guy just put his hands up, laughed, and said Thats the risk you run with buying a new car kids, then insisted we leave.These guys are nothing but scum.

Worst car I ever bought in my life, Nothing but problems and they basically warranty the car for as long as it takes for you to drive it out of the lot. Stay away or you will end up with a lemon.

Be very careful when buying from performance. We bought a 2010 nissan murano that has turned our lives in to a nightmare. 6 days after we took it home the car started leaking from everywhere. We were in and out of their shop for 3 months the A/C stopped working. We were told our rental car would be paid for, but at the end we had to pay for it. I would not recommend this place to anyone. The car has a new problem every week. Buying from Performance auto was a huge mistake. It has taken our peace and is draining our savings.

I swear I dont know how people like this actually own a business. I called regarding a vehicle and Richard was not useful what so ever. I asked has the car had any service or maintenance done to it and he replied I dont know granted I knew the timing belt would be due for service soon and I would get the car checked out by a mechanic before even making an offer. Then I asked him is the price negotiable and he replied no. So not only is the car over priced you want TOP DOLLAR with no service history period. Get a grip its shady dealerships like yours who make honest, hardworking people not want to do business with you. If I brought the car to a mechanic and he told me there will be roughly $1000 worth of service to be done to make it good to go and you tell me not negotiable then you are entitled to nothing and you do not deserve anyones business. If I could give zero stars I honestly would.

My 18 year old financed a car there..got the car quickly as needed:ecwry everywent fine....a month later.. my sons car wouldnt start..got towed home from college on thursday ..called them and gave him hard time..said..sorry!...tied up till Monday...brought to his mechanic and said it was starter $450 later.and by the way..you need a belt and brakes very soon...Rob said the car was inspected and ready to go...just love when a place takes advantage of teenagers....not happy!

Got no warranty but a verbal, we will take care of you $4000 in repairs later I got $500 back after 3 weeks of phone calls. Was told, you drove it and looked at it. Thats all we will do. DONT buy a car from Performace. Stick with a dealer and a warranty. Caveat Emptor.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Car needed $3040 in repairs after purchase. They are not honest about what they have done to the car at all. Have bad parts and invoices to prove it. Never returned my calls or emails. Bob was the salesman. Horrible Horrible Horrible experience.

I had bout a 2005 vw touareg from shane at Performance Auto, and had devolved little head lamp issue with it .. i am an auto tech by trade and have seen some shady places out there...that saying shane and crew went beyond the call of duty to find and fix the issue with my headlamps,and then made my day after finding another key for my touareg (vw keys very expensive ) there are not to many car salesman out there that want you to be happy when you drive a off lot to go home, shane and his fellow empoleys are the ones that want you to be happy when you drive off there lot to go home.... A+ to infiny and beyond in my book...

My husband bought a 03 chevy avalanche from rob at performance auto,car was very clean,well maintaned,he overlooked the vehicle and did all repairs before releasing our car. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM! I purchased a car 4 months ago and I have had problems with my 4WD. I used to always get a message that says “Service 4WD”. So I had them fix it the first time and they just changed the oil in it or whatever and just recently I took it to another dealership and turns out i need a new transfer case. I had to buy the transfer case for 1/2 the price of the car. They also promised me new tires on the car when I bought it which they never did. They sell lemon cars. Do not but from them! They obviously didnt really fix the problem the first time!

I went to look at a used infiniti they had on their website for my boyfriend because he works a lot I started looking at the vehicle and a sales person comes out and greets me and immidiate judged me as a non buyer and went back inside and said if I wanted to come get a card before I left on top of the car being in really bad shape rust eating up the qp almost all the tires were flat and the car hadnt been inspected for 2 years I did not enjoy my experience here and even if the car was in good shape I wouldnt have bought from them.

Avoid this place like the plague. Bought a car this past winter and its been a constant uphill climb. Kate was helpful until after handing her cash and drove off. Now, she avoids me and gives the runaround. Very bad experience.

I found a Prius listed on the Performance Auto site that had everything I wanted, listed just below KBB price. Rob and Shane were supremely helpful, entertaining three test drives and answering any questions I had about the car. I got a *real* car history report too - something thats getting more and more difficult to come across.A week later, the Prius was mine and today I couldnt be happier. Ive had a sum total of 0 problems with the car so Im glad to say Ill be a repeat customer. This type of dealership is rare - friendly staff, full service financing and honest deals. Stay away from this place!! Dont waste your time here. They put bandaids on anything wrong with the car in hopes of it going past their limited warranty which is a joke to begin with. Horrible service, no consideration on calling you back. Purchased a vehicle from here, to make a long story short, Id rather put myself in debt and buy a car from a real dealership, then give a half ass place like this my money ever again.
