Excellent place to live. Real affordable homes. Great to raise a family. Great school district. Just a nice place to live. Ive lived here with my family for 10 years!!

My husband and I own a home here over 25 years and my daughter for 2 years.Safe and friendly environment and Kerry in the office has been great with getting back to me with any questions I have.

There are some very nice mobile homes, but the streets and some homes are in real need of repair!!

The only issue is the process of approval. After you agree with a owner to buy there trailer, you fill out the application to be approved by the community which take 2-3 weeks. While the application process is going the trailer you wanted is still on the market being shown. We tried to put a down payment but they didnt let us. The buying and selling process is horrible and I give no stars on that.Other then that they get 5 stars.Nice private type of community, not your typical run-down TV type trailer community. Very quiet area, you dont even know your in a trailer community..

Very nice community but extremely long process to get in. Since it took so long I had to start looking other places to live. I only had a short period of time to get out and this process took alot longer than the 3 weeks they tell you

Great place to live. Big advantages to being in an building or a complex. Wildlife, yards, underground utilities, if you pay your rent and maintain your yard, you will have no problem creating the home you want. My only complaints are the IDIOTS who speed through the park.

Its a trailer park, nice for retirement, have a friend who lives there

Nice and not so nice mixture of homes. Park manager is rude, never returns a phone call and actually calls your phone number and hangs up to see who called. Very unprofessional. I dont know how she keeps her job.

You have to really really scope out the neighbors and block nd spot you plan on living in in here(as well as the trailer lol..have seen some crazy stuff in these..) .. ive lived on both sides and the west side is pretty dicey .. nice parcels and mobile homes but you gotta watch.. the other side is generally alot older.. both the trailers and the residents lol.. the cars drive faster but its alot more peaceful in terms of neighbors and piece of mind... great school district is on west side tho moved here when i was 13 from islip terrace..graduated from cquot--then we moved to the other side ..just a heads up .. be prepared to encounter things in older mobile homes you would not normally see in other structures.lol. id say its a real great place to start out if you can... (very hard to formally finance these on long island, but sellers are generally willign to finance)... also great for ppl looking to make their own little retirement spot.. enough yard to not feel crowded.. yet easy to take care of lol theres some rolls royces of mobile homes dabbled throughout .. some of those giant 28 by 60 fleetwoods too..its usually about an hour to penn station .. a decent bike ride to the ferry.. near sunrise highway but not on it...train stations bout a 5 minute car ride good place if you dont wanna rent an apartment .. and the area is top notch.. once you leave the tp its a nice middle/upper middle class neighborhood.. some hole in the wall bars.. nice pubs.. a pretty big selection of good restaurants.. just be prepared to travel a little .. lol everything in bohemia is like just perfectly out of the way ..i mean theres 2 7-11s but each about a mile and a half away ..theres about 3-4 delis in the mile radius... only one is good and consistent.. another is overrated and can be pricey .. and 2 are like industrial park holes in the wall that have some pretty crappy food...... hmwhat else .. great bagel place in town @smithtown avenue.. pizzas tough in this town.. my fav is marco polo on vets or aegean in sun vet mall... general rule of thumb in bohemia... if they deliver theyre not that good..but theyre still consistently good enough lol ...oh and you can barely hear any air traffic at all here..i experience much much higher plane noise in almost every other part of bohemia.. if oyu live in the back-back of the tp sunrise highway is like a steady hiss/hum

Manager is a nut job, very nosy, nasty, and likes to talk about her odd relationships with the men she meets from a dating site. Also on Buttercup Dr. There are a few neighbors that are outside all the time getting drunk, being loud, and pester anyone they can come across walking outside.

The village is old and it needs renovation and restoration.
