Excellent experience! Surprised my girl with an engagement ring and wedding band. Awesome staff, very knowledgeable. The sizing was a little bit off but the staff corrected it quickly. I would definitely recommend Jared to all.
Helpful staff but not enough staffing for closing rush. Waited almost 30 minutes to be helped, staff didnt even open door for me, another customer had to let me in. Some staff is really friendly and some staff doesnt even smile at you.
My fiancé and I found a wedding ring online but were unsure on sizing. We went in to the store where we were greeted immediately and promptly helped. Kari was so patient and knowledgeable. It was close to closing time but we were never rushed or felt like a bother. We purchased the perfect ring confidently. I will continue to go back to this store and work with this amazing team.
Beware of who you work with! My husband and I took a trip to Jared Bolingbrook for my warranty semiannual inspection on 12 pieces. The store is nearly an hour away, but we have been loyal Jared customers. I put my jewelry into the bowl for the associate, Sierra, to inspect and clean. When she returned with my jewelry and stated, “you don’t have to wait while I update your records, you are all set”. I noticed a ring was missing and told the associate. She counted what I had and said, “you had 9 pieces I gave you back 9 pieces, what is missing?” I described the ring that was missing, and she added to the description and I confirmed and commented that her count was still inaccurate, “No I did not count the men’s band”. She states she may have left it in the cleaner, looked around and stated she did not have it. She told another associate that I claimed I was missing a piece, she stated she did not have it and that I needed to go home and look for it. Tells her manager, “she had 9 pieces I gave her back 9 pieces”. They state they will check the cameras and call me. We found it unacceptable to leave without a piece of jewelry I had without a doubt given her. We asked the manager to check the cameras while we waited and her response was, “well it is going to take a while”. They returned and said that “they really didn’t show anything”. They insisted we go home to check. The sales associate then says, “I don’t have it you seen me go over here and right back, and its not there, I didn’t drop it”. She proceeds to where the jewelry is inspected and finds my ring on the scope. I state, “are you going to apologize now?”. Her response was with a half-laugh, “I am sorry you THOUGHT we lost your jewelry, I said we would continue to look for it and we found it”. She then proceeds to be “professional” very unsuccessfully and was very condescending and brash, with “you guys have a great day”. Had Sierra came back with an “Oh my I am so sorry, here it is” or even acknowledged that she wasted a great deal of our time, or not immediately come to the defense and say she did not have it and only had NINE pieces, or not had described the ring that was missing back to me, this would not be a review, mistakes happen. However, trying to send me home and act as I had never given a piece and that this “mistake” was on us then treat us poorly is unacceptable, unprofessional, uncalled for, downright rude, and beyond extremely poor customer service. Also, at some point, the manager should have stepped in and apologized on behalf of her staff.
I love Jareds jewelry. Everytime I go I want to get a new ring. They are all so beautiful. Im grateful for the free cleaning and inspection they provide. Keeps my diamond jewelry looking brand new everytime.
If I could have given this place one star I would have. I went in to the Bolingbrook location last Thursday because I notice I was missing a diamond on my wedding band. When I got there I was greetedright away and put my ring in a bowl and began to explain to the lady what was wrong. I told her that a diamond was missing and that the solder was not holding on one part of the ring and I asked to have that fixed. She took my ring to the back and with in 3 mins came out and said where did you buy your engagement ring. I told her my husband purchased it from a private jewelry store. She then asked if I had a warranty from where I bought it. I told her that my husband had only purchased a 5 year warranty. She then asked if my ring was covered under my home insurance and I told her yes. She then proceeded to tell me that my engagement ring only was messed up and that it would cost $2,400.00 to fix. I about lost my mind. I was so upset. She then told me that it was totally normal that it was like wear and tear on a car and things like this happen over time. She also told me that I had a huge crack in my center diamond and in time that would cost a good amount of money to be fixed. I left and called my insurance guy right away. He told me that it would be wise to get another quote before I settle on one location. I decided to take my ring to not one but two gem specialist. Both told me the same exact thing… there is NOTHING wrong with my ring. I could not believe it! I was getting scammed for $2,400.00. I ended up getting my rings cleaned polished dipped soldered back together and my diamond replace for $100.00. The guy that I took it too felt so bad for me. I called Jared and spoke to a manager about what happened. Come to find out the person that helped me was a manager. A damn manger tried to scam me. It’s really sad that I will never go back. I have given Jared so much of my business. When I was there I even picked out our daughters communion diamond cross and I now will not buy it. Next step is a corporate call. If this manager tried to do this to me I can just imagine what they have already pulled on other people.
I purchased a platinum engagement band from them in October 2020 and the thing tarnished and turned yellow. A quick Google search confirmed my suspicion. Real platinum does NOT tarnish and certainly doesnt turn yellow. I was completely devastated when my fiance asked me if I bought a dipped ring. After spending literally thousands of dollars. I will be making a report with the BBB.
I am working temporarily in Joliet, and my wifes wedding ring needed to be inspected. They were able to inspect and clean it within 10 minutes or so. Honestly, Ive never had a bad experience at a Jared store.
Do not buy anything from the Bolingbrook Il. location on 693 E. Boughton Rd., they are charging almost double the price of any other Jared stores, we bought 5.50 grade A pearls from them and paid almost double the price compared to any other Jared Jewelers we bought from, sad but save your money worth the drive to find another Jared store or just another jeweler preferably a small family owned.
We had a great experience at Jared. A nice and knowledgeable person named Kathy helped us to pick the most beautiful wedding rings. Well definitely come back!
Exceptional experience shopping for an engagement ring here. The prices are very competitive and the service from Sierra and Kristine was simply incredible. It made my girlfriend and I feel very at ease and comfortable to walk into a place like this.
Jared Bolingbrook Il. on Boughton Road staff was very rude and I would not recommend anyone to go to that location. My husband bought me jewelry their for Christmas I return it and took my money else where. I also filed a complaint with customer care.
DONT EVER GO TO JARED!!!!!!!! NEVER EVER!!!!! Don’t ever go to Jared!!!! My 20k brand new ring (after 6 months of repairing and redoing it, arguing and spending DAYS in their store) came out like this with chipped diamond! And this is the SECOND RING. They had to make THE WHOLE NEW RING because the first they messed up completely!!!!! The ring is not symmetrical, setting neither centered nor perpendicular to the ring (with sticking out diamond), corner angles are different throughout, one side of the ring is dramatically (like 50%) higher than another one, even shape of the head is different on ALL sides!!!!!! Within first couple of month diamonds already started falling off. Jared resized my ring 3 TIMES!!!!!! to make it right. The ring I got is not even close to be to what they showed me on CAD images. YOU WILL REGRET IF YOU GO TO JARED!!!!!!
I have visited the Jared at Yorktown once so long ago. The friendliest staff is at the Bolingbrook location! The manager Kerry and salesperson Cathy are the best. There is a young assistant manger that is also very nice each time I visit. Very personable and friendly atmosphere makes getting jewelry cleaned seem like visiting friends.

I really do enjoy shopping at Jared. The jewelry is beautiful and enticing. Although the constant pressure I feel from the associates to open a credit card after I repeatedly say no dampens my whole shopping experience. Also if I say I dont want the extended warranty it would be nice to be heard as well. Although I have to say that the associate who let me know the benefit of having the warranty because I needed my ring sized was very helpful to me. So if you could train your associate to concentrate on the customers real needs, and just how the warranty could be beneficial. But not to hammer customers with applying for a credit card, even after the third, fourth, fifth, sixth and even more approach and no as a reply is what I and even more customers replied are.......it would make for a much more pleasant and concentrated pleasant experience shopping at your stores. Extremely unprofessional. My fiance went in to get her ring resized and they clearly talked down to her, and they eventually left her crying by the time she left.
The customer service is awesome here at the Oakbrook store. Everytime I go in there I purchase at least one more item than I am planning to. The sales people are friendly and very personable.

I had the best experience at Jared today. Three staff members worked diligently to get me exactly what I needed and at the best deal for me!!! Theres nothing more I love than getting a good deal. The friendly service and princess treatment was a bonus. Kari was my main sales assocaite and she rocked it. I had 4 pieces of jewelry to deal with and felt 100% satisfied when I walked out the door. I will be back here again.
My husband and I went to Jared for my regular warranty check. We typically go to another location. Kari was wonderful. She caught the fact that my husband’s ring was covered by the warranty (the other location never once mentioned this). She also took the time to show me my diamond’s unique characteristics under the microscope. We will be returning to this location for all our warranty checks. For starters, we were thrilled all the employees was so loving towards our puppyas when we walked in, but even more importantly the woman helping us pick out rings and sizing was kind, accommodating, and very helpful. I have never bought jewelry for myself so I didn’t know much, which seemed to be a problem for a different boutique jeweler in Naperville. Here, I felt comfortable from the moment I walked in. I brought my 37 year wedding ring in to have the diamonds checked and found the prongs holding the diamonds had worn down and one side of the ring was damage. When I picked the ring up today I couldnt believe my eyes. My ring looked like the day of my wedding. Whitney thank you so much for making my ring look the way it did 37 years ago. Jared employees (Naperville) provide the best customer service. Several of them make you feel like old friends when you come in. I love the fact they don’t give a high pressure sales pitch. They show you what you want to see and make recommendations! Thank you guys!!
Triza and Kristine were absolutely great! I did research on my engagement ring for my fiancee for 12-months prior to narrowing down to Jared. These ladies were able to show me everything I was buying, and even did comparisons that help me understand what it was I was buying. They were flexible and patient with me, for I am a current full time college student. Highly recommend Jared in Bolingbrook, they treat you with respect and motivated to guide you in your jewelry experience.
Staff has terrible customer service and unprofessional behavior, not only toward customers but between staff members. I came in for maintenance and dipping of my wedding rings but left after the most awkward exchange between two staff members right in front of me. I wouldn’t trust the staff at this store with my wedding rings. Scary. The Lombard Jared was a MUCH better experience.
Received my engagement ring from Jared and every time I step foot into their gallery I am blown away by their kindness, patience, and genuine care for myself and my ring! Cannot say enough positive things about my ring, my experience, the staff, & the company overall!
I had brought in my daughters necklace that had broke apart . And came into Jareds and was very nicely greeted and took the necklace to be fixed. Told me it would be done at 4pm which was rather quick in my opinion.. I got email and was told when it be ready and when it was ready. And thankfully it was under warranty .

This place us nothing short of world class! Tony and Sierra were knowledgable, helpful, caring and their sales behaviors were off the charts. They werent pushy or just caring about the sale, they really were interested in helping me surprise my mom with a beautiful diamond piece. The support from the rest of the team was something to behold. While tony rang out the sale, lashonda offered to help size the ring, the manager triza took the time to explain the trade I policy and the service plan. Just unreal service. I will only buy my jewelry from Jared from now on!
This place gave my husband my engagement ring that he ordered with a cubic zirconia and had no idea where the diamond went he ordered. To make it worse they didnt want to make up for it and it didnt say in their computers he ordered one so we didnt get reimbursed. So obviously someone stole the diamond and covered it up. So we had to go to another Jared to fix the problem because this store is absolutely terrible. Do not shop here. Go to the Jared in Joliet or Lombard.

My boyfriend and I went to check out what a Jared store looked like. (I work for the same company but different store) Anyways, before any of the jewelry consultants knew I worked for Kay they were giving me great customer service. Super friendly, smiley, happy people.. 2 people really stood out to me. Sol, the pandora specialist, and Kari, the store manager. After they found out I work for their sister store,they were so welcoming and continued to be so helpful.. the reason why I posted this is because even tho someone may have had a bad experience, that doesn’t mean it’ll happen again at the same place, nor should every worker at that particular location be held in bad light along with the company. I’ve had bad experiences at places but that doesn’t mean I hold it against them. Customer service is not easy but THESE LADIES ROCKED IT!! (Even my bf was impressed lol) see you ladies soon

I purchased my wifes engagement ring from here. They were very helpful and gave me a crash course in diamonds. I told them what I wanted to spend and they helped keep it with in that range. We also purchased my wedding band they were helping in helping pick one out and if we had to order one to make sure it was here in time.
Completely ignored when I walked in. Then went to the service counter where 2 employees had their backs to me. 1 ended up turning around and walked right past me without saying anything. I ended up saying excuse me who do I talk to about resizing a ring to the one still behind the counter and she looks at me and says Ill get someone for you I say thank you but then she just turns her back to me and makes no move to get someone. So I end up tracking down the girl who walked past me earlier and said excuse me I need to talk to someone about getting my ring resized and she goes ok I can help Im like ok thanks and then she just stares at me. So Im like, um well heres the ring and as you can see its a little big and she goes yea.. not taking any initiative to help me out or tell me what to do Im like uh, so I dont know what your process is or what I need to do... and then a little light bulb went off and she finally started asking questions and took my ring size with their tool. Ok She said itll be done by 4 (it was about 11am at that point) ok no problem Ill be back. I go back at 5 giving them a buffer, its not done but they are finishing up (also no apologies about being an hour late) but no worries. They got me a water which was nice. Walked around for 15 minutes or so looked at their mens wedding bands and they had a very tiny selection. I asked about it and she said we dont give them a lot of space because they arent important uhh I get thats supposed to be a joke (I hope) but thats also my fiance youre talking about and the small selection you do have sucks anyway. I was antsy the whole time waiting for my ring because when the girl sized me I agreed to it and was having second doubts that it was going to be too tight. I struggled to get the ring key thing off. And I was thinking I should have gone half a size bigger. Well thank God I didnt because I got the ring back and it was loose. I can shake my hand and the ring falls off. Definitely not the same size that the girl put on my finger earlier. I tell them that and she goes well we will have to charge you again since you didnt purchase the ring here seriously!? Your first lady could have written down the wrong number, you were late on giving me the ring back without a phone call (it was supposed to be done at 4 and if I went in at said time i would be waiting for over an hour), she then says its because our body fluctuates. Well no duh, Im not a moron. But I dont think I lost a pound in my finger in 6 hours. From struggling to get the ring sizer off due to being tight to being able to shake my hand and have the ring fall off... not ok. This isnt my first encounter with bad service at this Jareds. I learned that this will be my last though. Im done. Go to the one in Naperville because Bolingbrook location is useless.
I’m not one to write bad reviews but from the start I was treated very poorly by an older blonde haired women on 11/11. She had attitude and seemed annoyed to help me size my new engagement ring; she did not help pick out ring size until manager stepped in who was very pleasant. Long story short, my ring could not be sized as small as needed so she had to order a whole new one which was a process...The whole time I was patient & did not say much, I was very nice even though I felt like she did not want to help me thinking she might be new. 4 days after I decided to call to check on the status which took forever for them to even find my order. She ended up telling me (with attitude once again) that they were not able order it to that store. She didn’t think to call me for 4 days with that update? I had to find out by calling myself.On the plus side, the other ladies were so welcoming & kind unfortunately I had a bad experience.- Izabela Lesnicka

I purchased my necklace and charm from the Bolingbrook Jared along with the insurance. This necklace has broken several times from normal wear. Everytime I bring it in to be fixed the staff informs me that the necklace is poor quality!!!! Luckily I have not lost the charm. They refuse to replace the necklace. I would have to return both necklace and charm...but wait its beyond the time to be able to return the necklace set. All I have requested is a replacement for my necklace and they refuse!! Please check all reviews before purchasing a product from Jared!! They say they guarantee their product but not sure what they guarantee!!! Definitely not customer satisfaction!!
I do not recommend to all my friends this place in Bolingbrook location. This person who was assisting us was very demeaning and very rude person. She is an older woman, heavy set, white woman, wearing glasses.with short hair. She never ask anything, so we left.

I’m absolutely livid I just had an appraisal done at this location which i was never given a price for when I booked the appointment or confirmed the appointment or before the service started only after to be told it’s $200!!! When I told this to the manager on staff (9/21/17 7:30 pm) I was told “oops I’m sorry they should have told you but there’s nothing I can do” I was told by the woman at the joliet location that this was a complimentary service and only booked at bolingbrook because the jeweler was in sooner!! Absolutely horrible customer service and I’ll be calling the corporate office in the morning!
Amani and Kristine were awesome at Jared. They were eveythinh plus so much more. They took care of us and cleaned our jeweley even though it wasnt purchased there. They found the perfect ring for us. I would definitely recommend going there for all your jewlery needs. They took rrally good care of us and won a customer for life.
This place has an amazing selection of beautiful jewelry! They have a variety of Tag Heur timepieces, and Omega watches. Wonderful Movados and Tissot as well! I love this place

After going to a few other Jewelry stores and being completely disrespected and disregarded. Going to Jared in Bolingbrook made me feel welcomed and appreciated. The first time my husband and I went in, we were at no point pressured to make a purchase and were assisted immediately by Amani. She made use a wishlist and answered all of our questions and respected our decision to come back at a later date. The second time we were assisted by Amani and Anne Marie, which they both were so helpful and made our experience amazing! We decided to purchase that day and with the two wonderful ladies help, I was able to go home with my rings SAME DAY! Absolutely the best service hands down! Brought my Tag watch for a battery to be replaced on 11/23/15. Didnt get it back until 1/22/16. The girl who filled out my paperwork said it would take a couple weeks because they ship it to Peoria, IL. When I picked it up 2 months later, a different girl said it takes about 2 months. Wont be going back there.
