We are from out of town and was looking for a quick bite to eat that was not your standard fast food restaurant. I found Diggie Diner with 4.3 stars and figured we would try it considering it was close to our hotel and did not regret it! We got the cheese burger with bacon and it was one of the BEST burgers we have ever eaten. The bacon was my favorite it was hot and crispy. I would highly recommend!! π π

The food is good but the guy who answers the phones is severally unprofessional. I was talking and he put me on hold without saying anything then comes back and says βhelloβ and I said why did you just randomly put me on hold and he said I didnβt must be your connection. How would my connection produce the hold music they have??? When I said no you just randomly put me on hold. He said we can keep arguing or you can order. I said I donβt appreciate how youβre talking, and he hung up. Please get new workers who arenβt rude, and unprofessional.
Been coming here for 6 years to get a chicken philly and itβs so good. I have no complaints I prefer this location better then the one in woodridge. The biggest perk here is the fresh fries each timeβ₯οΈ
Just placed an order today, they said it would be about 45 mins came quicker than that food was hot and it was spot on, loved every bite.
Steak fajita was mostly gristle and the euro meat was hot and cold depending on where you bit into. But the fries were really really good and they got it up to a two-star. The tables were not clean. There was a dead bug in the seat.
Quick little diner, good hotdogs and seasoned frys. Would recommend.
Only went because we won a radio contest prize for $25. Never again. Fries were over cooked could not eat them, gyros barely had any sauce, pizza puffs were very oily . Never again!!
This location is awesome.. Great fresh hot food always when ordered. They go above to make sure the food stays hot and fresh like if u sat there. Well worth the wait. Thanks for being a great spot for some great food in Bolingbrook.
This is an amazing hidden gem. They have everything you would want in a Chicago style diner. The prices are amazing and they are fast. No complaints at all. The food tastes amazing too..keep it up guys

This location is by far the best Doggie Diner! Always fast and GREAT food. Excellent choices always something new to try. Employees are fun if you behave inside the Doggie House!
Came for a gyro and was not disappointed. The gyro was very good as was the mozzarella sticks. The service also seemed pretty good. Ill definitely be back.
Today I give it 2 stars.... I ordered the burgers and just like the other reviews stated they were dry and hard, Im even questioning if there 100% beef! π€To the owners you do have good food however you really need to do something with the burgers unfortunately it ruined my meal this evening. Disappointed

Love this place! A huge menu of items to choose from. Delicious food for very casual meals. When my little nieces come to town from Michigan, they ALWAYS ask to go to Doggie Diner. I oblige!

Doggie Diner 2 is pretty good! Today I had got cheese fries and shrimp from there. The cheese fries were very yummy with lots of cheese and the shrimp was fried with a side of sauce. The shrimp wasnβt too bad.
My family and I have been going to Doggie Diner since 1991, and we still absolutely love it! We are now bringing my nieces there, making it 3 generations of my family enjoying this place! The food is fantastic (particularly the fries), the service is friendly and prompt, and the prices are perfect.

I like Doggie Diner 2. Of all the places Ive eaten like them, they make the best ribeye steak sandwich. The bread is key. It can absorb the juices of the steak and not break. I like their subs as well. The gyros are good too. Only knock I have is their fries.

Catering services too, take out, call ahead. Really friendly environment, people of all ages, all walks of life. The owner is awesome and knows her people. If youre in bolingbrook I Recommend stopping in there. There are two other diners, but I feel this is the one you gotta visit!

The online menu prices are a lie with the menu price i would of only paid $10 but when i called it was DOUBLE!! And the Tamale was NOT a tamale! And they charged me 50 cent to add cheese on my hot dog! It would of been fine if it was nacho cheese but it was SLICED cheese! Never again!!

I usually get the gyro platter and the regular fries (I dont really like the thick steak fries).The regular fries are awesome.. fresh, hot and crispy. The gyro platter is huge. I usually get an extra pita and sauce and make 2 gyros out of the platter.I especially like the hand drawn sign that basically says, If you wear your pants around your knees, we wont serve you. Proper attire required.A hole in the wall yes... but great food... Have been going for years.. The Woodridge location is also good.

This place tastes amazing like any other day I wouldve easily given a 5 star but the onion rings were a little overcooked but I didnt want to complain because I usually do enjoy coming here a lot.
I grabbed lunch here and was greeted upon entering. After I noted I had never been there before, they told me what their specialties were and the specials they had for that day. I went with the gyro platter, which came out to be $7.25 (no drink). A short wait later, less than 5 minutes, the food was ready. The only reason I gave service a very good instead of excellent, is because I asked for it to go, and when my food was ready, it was prepared to eat there. No big deal, a few seconds later I was out the door. I was surprised to see how much food I got when I sat down to eat, fries were seasoned well, fresh, and hot. Gyro was topped with plenty of onion and tomato, and gyro meat! Definitely could have made 2 gyros out of this one.

Chicken Philly is nasty with no flavor. Most of the food items look unappetizing. Soda is watered down and the cashier was very rude and had little to no knowledge about the food menu items and selections I would not recommend this place unless you are extremely drunk I need something to eat.
My girlfriend was so upset at how bad this food was and the fact that we spent money on it. Worst mozzarella sticks ever. Ruined our appetites. Bad burger and fries too.
Food good and priced reasonably
We ordered lunch for our office today, the order was correct (more than I can say for most places) delivery was fairly quick too. However, we ordered a few gyros, and the tatziki sauce was UNBELIEVABLY garlicky. Way overboard! I have never had a tatziki I didnt like....until now!

Bought am Italian beef, and the bread had a beetle, my wife went to tell them about it and they had a big attitude about it, my wife was nor asking for a refund our anything but tell then that the company that provides them with the bread might have a problem, but they stated causing a bit of a scene, and we have never been back, and never will.
Service is always friendly. Always.And, Ive never had a problem with their food. I work pretty close to here and its a go to place when I have to run out.Thanks, all!

Great place really has that old school feel to it. The food is delicious the hotdogs remind me of the ones at the city. The burgers, just simply great. This is my go to stop for burgers or hotdogs. I really think everyone should give this place a try, youll most likely not be disapointed.
