Its a really cool store! Im finally getting my motorcycle license in September, so being able to go in with a purpose made it even cooler! Joe, the sales representative who helped me out, was very knowledgeable about the gear...and gave me a lot of options. Since I will be a new rider, Joe made me feel confident in the gear I chose. He showed me how they work (like how to take the back pad out of the jacket I bought), and how to make sure a helmet actually fits. I was a bit sad they didnt have more options for helmets, but due to the pandemic their shipments are behind. Overall, it was an awesome experience for a first time buyer! I will definitely be back.

All four guys working BOTH days I went in were extremely knowledgeable, and helped me by reinforcing what I had already researched on helmets. They helped answer every new question as it came up, and clarified the helmet selection process.In the end, the first helmet I chose (that we ordered in-store) did not work out, but returning it to the store made purchasing another helmet much easier.

First time I walked in I was greeted and immediately became apart of the motorcycle family. These guys helped me find what I needed and even remembered me after calling 3 days prior. They gave me recommendations and even gave me advise on what to use and what not to use. Very honest people and they will keep you safe for your next ride.

Cycle gear, what a cool place. I was surprised by the selection. There are few places nowadays where you can pickup motorcycle gear like jackets helmets boots and parts as well as great personal service, along with electronics and other accessories. Instead of shopping on line you and actual store to go to, and try stuff on and check for fit. Really a cool place to hang out and buy your gear from. Check out your new helmet, jacket, gloves and avoid the hassle of waiting to return something or to arrive and find out it either doesnt fit or the helmet is to tight, this is the to go get your gear. The folks at the store spent an almost ridiculous amount of time helping my wife find the perfect helmet, gloves, and jacket and her exact needs. Buying stuff online might be easier or cheaper (although we paid the same or less than we would have at Revzilla), but nothing will replace the level of customer service you get from people like the employees here. Congrats Cycle Gear. You’ve earned our loyalty.

I brought my two young daughters in to get their first helmets. The staff was super friendly and helpful, the selection was great, and the prices were very reasonable. Roberto in particular was very kind and patient with my girls, and taught them a lot about how the helmets and goggles work and how to take care of them. We will definitely be back!

I do some online shopping....but cannot (would not) replace in store shopping. Absolutely love the Bollingbrook IL location. Went in to buy a Jacket, and left with Gloves too. Extremely happy with both. The help I recieved from staff was professional grade.

Cycle gear has been a great help starting my motorcycle hobby. I bought most of my stuff through them. Roberto particularly was a huge help. All the young guys there are great. I keep going back, and i will continue to do so.

Great expirience! Went to Cycle gear to look for a new helmet. Was greeted by an associate named Roberto and he was able to answer any and all questions I had concerning the helmets. He gave me his suggestions and we decided on the Simpson Mod Bandit. Great choice. Roberto also gave me suggestions on communication devices and let me know which brand he currently uses and enjoys. Great recommendations and shopping for the helmet made my experience and decisions that much easier.

I worked with a salesman, coincidentally, his name is Kevin as well.I used to be in sales for over nine years. I am now a general contractor and customer service is huge to us. It was great to see a reflection of that while working with Kevin. I would absolutely go back and work with any of the salesman there.I got some new riding shoes, a helmet, bluetooth headset for the helmet, and a jacket. I’m sure it won’t be long before I’m back for something else. The Selection for just about anything you need is outstanding.Kevin was extremely informative in making sure the helmet I purchased was not only something I was comfortable in long term, but he would continuously check the fit around the perimeter of the helmet. If the fit didn’t look right to him, he pushed you toward another brand.He was not a pushy salesman whatsoever, he strictly asked me what I was looking for. I talked with the other salesman As well but did not get any names, as Kevin was the main person to take care of me, they all work together really well as a team.

This was our first visit to this Cycle Gear since we moved to area. We are familiar with the product line. We were looking for new helmets for my grandsons and myself. Dave came up and helped us right away. I said no MX helmets this time because the visors play havoc with my sidecar windshield. With that tidbit, Dave ran with it. He had the boys attention(tough to do) and was able to get them fitted quickly, even with the mops they call hair. Me, I knew what I wanted, so I was quick.

Best store to get your gear at. Joe and Nick knows their stuff and always take care of me.

Took my name and told me they’d call when another came in I figured it’d be a couple/few days before one would come in. Got a call next day. Great place to get gear. Can try on helmets and attire before you buy. For whatever reason bike gear is never sized correctly so its good to actually put on the jacket, gloves, pants and boots. Can also order in and try out before taking delivery

There’s something to be said about being old-school and focusing on customer service versus making a penny when things go wrong.Idk. Words can’t explain good customer service and upholding a warranty. Thank you 🙏

All of my experiences have been great here. However I have to point out one specifically. I never receive this kind of service so it’s worth talking about. I bought two helmets from CycleGear last year. BILT Discovery Adventure helmets. They were discounted and discontinued. I needed two Iridium visors and for months it appears they were out of stock and I’d figured I’d never get them. In one last ditched effort, I call the store and get Mike. He goes over and above, over the course of two days, tracks down two visors in other stores from other states. He has them delivered and calls me to let me know he found them and will call me when they arrive. This type of effort and service is rare. It creates long term loyalty customers and has earned mine. Ride Safe.

I walked into the sore looking for a Mesh jacket. I was greeted by Joe. He showed me around and had me try on multiple options. He is a great judge of what fits and is safe. His product knowledge is unbelievable. I went with the Revit Wind 2 jacket. I highly recommend this jacket! Joe is an amazing employee and I highly recommend anyone in the Chicago area go see him in the Bolingbrook Promenade location.

Been going to Cycle Gear for the past few years (Tinley Park IL location), however just found out about the one located in Bolingbrook IL and so far the service has been outstanding.

Usually go to Schaumburg store but selection in Bolingbrook was better. And the cleanliness of this location was better. Cycle Gear still needs to UP their womens sizes in gear.

Customer service was great, everyone was friendly, informative and helped me make informed decisions on my purchase! Highly recommended visit the Bolingbrook, IL location!

I came here looking for a helmet. I tried to find one on-line at a different retailer, and it was too difficult. I had to return a couple, which is a hassle. I received excellent service and recommendations. One downside, the store was lacking inventory in my size for several helmets. My guess is that’s because of the shortages of all types of products everywhere.

We all have to start somewhere...and before walking in, I felt intimidated. These fears quickly disappeared. The man who helped us was very knowledgeable and beyond patient throughout the entire visit. Not once did I feel rushed or judged, only received genuine undivided assistance for all my needs.My first visit was above and beyond expectations and it will not be my last. As far as gear goes- fairly good selection. Brandon was helpful with suggestions and advice about multiple gloves I was comparing. Brandon was cool and understanding. Even when my 1.5 year old was touching every other item or ran behind the counter, he repeatedly said it was alright and she was fine doing what she was doing. Definitely a place to come back to for multiple visits for various gear (without the sidecar companion!)
