Wife likes coming here when she needs something. Its a but hit or miss sometimes as far as finding what youre looking for but overall a good place to save some $$ if you have a little one.

Best place to buy great childrens clothes for a fraction of retail.

Overall I do enjoy coming here for baby clothes as they are a good price however I was shocked to see what they are selling those baby activity centers/ saucers that you sit baby in for. $60 dollars is pretty outrageous seeing as it’s used even if it’s just gently. May as well just spend the money on a new one at that point.

Ok place to purchase gently used items but they are still pretty pricey considering they are used. They do not pay you very well for bringing things in. Only wanted to give me 20 bucks for multiple pairs of really good boots and shoes that were barely used and multiple pairs of nice jeans and t-shirts. Better off selling my stuff at a garage sale. The Bolingbrook staff was very helpful though and nice despite me choosing not to sell my items to them.

The is my first time visiting once upon a child. I read the reviews for the surrounding locations Crest Hill, Naperville and Bolingbrook. I was reluctant, but decided to go to this location because it had the best reviews. The young lady Morgan was wonderful. She greeted me at the door and explained how the process works for selling items. I left my items and received a call in a little over an hour to come back for the appraisal amount which was a generous offer. I know a lot of people complain about the offer and feel that there items are worth more but the time and effort it takes to sell items through Facebook market or a garage sale is a little bit more than I would like to spend. In addition to that this is a business. There is an overhead cost to staff the facility and keep the doors open and the location has to make a profit. That said, I had an amazing experience at this location and will definitely be back. My daughter had her eyes on a cute kitchen set that had just come in that I look forward to getting for her! Thank you!

OUAC is such a great place to shop for growing kids.There are clothing items too expensive for my budget new, but are perfectly affordable and like new at OUAC.

Its always mysterious on how they select the clothes we try to sell... Most of the times they have rejected the ones we bought from them ... Reason .. the size it too small or large..

Ridiculous low ball offer for clothes

Megan is Very rude and unprofessional when discussion how much they are buying things for they try to under sell you ask her is there anything she can do on two Jordan outfits and there was nothing she could or wanted to do I definitely feel like she didn’t want to do anything is has a nasty attitude and can handle customer service better she act like she was doing me a favor by buying my things and really were doing each other a favor because I’m giving you guys things that are great and u can re sell in your store to another family this isn’t my first time sell here and I brought one outfit for 20 from here to give it back maybe a month later my son never worn it and to bring it back just to get 2.50 for a outfit this is ridiculous! I won’t be selling here any more or coming here to buy anything! This isn’t the first time I feel shorted or unappreciated for bring my kids things here!

The Orland location is way way better.

Very clean, not too busy. Found a few nice things. Books are very reasonable.

I brought some coats and pants in and the girl that took care of me explained that they didn’t take the coats because they had stains all over them which is a complete lie because two of the coats that she was talking about were brand new it was a horrible experience.

If your wanting to sell items to this store, don’t waste your time!!!Firstly their customer service representatives are super awkward people.Secondly I took in a tonne of toys to sell and I actually didn’t expect them to want as much as they did. I was pleasantly surprised until she told me how much they were willing to give me for all of it. Most items they were going to give me 90cents for and were going to sell it for $5-5.60.I was under the impression they buy things off you for 25-50% of what they will sell it for. Definitely not true at this place. Your way better off and will get way more for your items selling them on offer up or marketplace.Oh and I was the second in line first thing when they opened and it took them 2.5 hours to go through my stuff.Complete waste of time, don’t do it!

Responsive on Facebook and friendly service. Did a curbside pickup earlier this year, and it was quick and easy. Just did shopping with them over Facebook messenger, and that was great service too!

This is my go to store for each new season. Clothes are in great condition and cant beat the prices. Ive sold here too. I wouldnt say I get a lot for what Ive sold, but the convenience is worth it to me.

Need to offer better deals for sellers. First time I sold here a few months back I received a great offer for clothes and equipments and I accepted. I choose to come here because this location had great reviews also. But the 2nd time I was offered only $50 for a playpen, high chair in very good condition, brand new unopen crib bedding set with tag for $40 and 10 piece bedding set, only used the two sheets. And the playpen cost over a $100 in stores which is hard to find because it was out of stock. Unless you buy used. Which I myself was selling online for $60. I regret accepting the $50 because I know for a fact if I had lower my prices for my items online I wouldve got more than $50. I wont be surprised if I come back and find my items being sold for full price. I learned my lesson.Update: Before I post my items online I checked to see how much each item are going for online. At the time walmart had the minnie mouse playyard for $109.99 but was out of stock. See pic below. I know now that the price drop to $84.00, which is fine but before I accepted the offer I was told it was going for $60 online, and I completely forgot that it was my post online for $60. I understand the 30-50 percentage but for items in which are in very good condition, especially new and unopened items I couldve receive a better offer online. I change my 1 star to 3 because I see you do value your customers and your willingness to give me my items back after I already accepted your offer. Thank you!

I was in the store a few days ago on Saturday at night and the girl Brittni was super helpful. She made sure she didn’t just shut the door on us when our truck was coming to pick up the crib. I’m so glad she took her time to help me out and my husband thinks she did a great job. She even helped on the phone when he lost directions on how to get back to the store. I definitely will be coming back soon knowing what great customer service I was provided. She was such a great girl for making sure that everything worked correctly and properly before I decided to buy it. She also showed me a better crib mattress and I was so excited to say that it was the one. It’s a memory foam one super comfortable for the baby. Both girls that night, I think the other girls name was Jordan did a great job and they definitely deserve this 5 star. The owners really know how to pick good employees!

Very very very pleased with this store! Earlier today I went into this location and a young lady whose name I believe was Ashley was such a pleasure to meet! She was such a huge help to me and helped me find the areas in clothing I was trying to find. The manager does such a wonderful job hiring awesome workers!

I must say this is a great location. The prices were fantastic on all of their items. The store was clean, and easy to navigate. Angela was very helpful in helping me check out. As a shopper: The store is clean and the staff is friendly. The selection of items is good too, at least for smaller sizes. But in my experiences, the prices are not that great. I can often find new stuff on sale at stores that costs just a little more than the used clothes. And I can get nicer clothes for much less at school resales. The shoes are a mess. In any bin, about half of them are not the size they are supposed to be. Thats frustrating.As a seller: the prices they offer seem very low. It is hardly worth going to the trouble of hauling stuff to/from the store. We dropped off a large bin of nice toys, several in packaging, unopened, all working, none plush. They were rejected without explanation, and my son was very disappointed to receive only $3.70 for an air hockey table and the few books they bought. 😡😤

Sunday I came into Once Upon a Child and originally just came to look because I wanted to see what this store offered. I have never been to this location and I will say it is very clean and pleasant. It doesnt have an odor like some of the stores I have been in. Well I was looking around and I saw the dollar day sale and instantly my daughter and I asked a long brown haired girl where her size was and started looking. She showed me where each section was depending on what I was looking for I explained I was looking for long sleeve dresses and long sleeve shirts she instantly showed me where they were and was very sweet about it. I was amazed at how well put together and organized the sections were. The young lady working there answered all my questions politely and helped me when I needed it. I did buy a few things for my daughter and my daughter bought some books for herself. I would like to say I was on a budget and the young lady helped me stay within a reasonable price range for my pocket. She was very kind and even offered me the rewards which is great because now I can save even more money once I have 20 points. She even explained that I get 5 loyalty points just for joining! She step by step walked me through the process on how to get signed up. This once upon a child has amazing workers that really care about you. I will definitely be coming back near future for summer clothes and I hope to see the young lady who checked me out, she was very kind and very mature. The manager seems like she hires well put together young women.

I am now officially finally impressed with a once upon a child! I used to live in Ohio and the stores there were so badly managed. I moved to Naperville and went in to their store and the employees were very mean. I came to the Bolingbrook location and boy let me tell you, AMAZING staff. I was greeted tonight when I walked in by a young gentleman and that has never happened when I walked into any once upon a child. This store is clean and it smelt pleasant. When I was checking out a brown haired girl was so sweet, what a great young lady. She made sure that she explained the rewards to me and got me all singed up. I am so glad to find a store that is well put together, trust me I have been to at least 10 once upon a child stores and this is the best one so far. Definitely will be coming back to this store for anything I need for my 3 little boys. Great job Bolingbrook location!

On Saturday morning I stopped into this location to try and find items for my grandchild. I wasn’t exactly sure what the new technology is now a days considering they never had this type of advanced equipment when my children were growing up. I had asked a worker at the store if she would mind answering questions for me about equipment. She took her time out of the day to explain to me how I can work the swing and what weight she would recommend a baby to use it up too, I will never forget that bright smile! They have good collection of baby and kids items. Prices were moderate too. However items need to be stacked properly as the the age group, specially the toys were just lying in heaps. It was difficult for me to find toys for my 4 months baby. Some clothes were a bit too worn out. I bought a play mat for $12, it was almost new and would have costed $50-60 if bought new from other stores. I got good deal and will certainly visit again

This is by far the best Once Upon a Child store. Its clean, very well organized, and the toys and games are in bags and not thrown everywhere. Plus the employees were very nice and we had outstanding customer service. Completely different experience from the Orland Park store. We will come back to this store to buy and sell. Thank you to the management and staff at the Bolingbrook store. Just a terrific shopping experience all the way around.

My daughter spent her first hard earned money here this afternoon and the cashier was SO patient with her when she counted her money out and helped her edit her shopping cart so my daughter stayed within her budget. Great experience, very clean store.

I want there to get an extra jacket for my son and it was dirty and it had a whole in it. This is not the first time I went there and there was something wrong with there clothes. I would just got to the other Once upon a Child.

This store buys gently used baby to kids things, and resells them offering big savings over buying new. The way kids grow, they wear things once and grow out of them. This store is clean and has very helpful staff. They have everything from clothes to cribs to toys. They also carry some new items, such as sippy cups and bottle cleaners. As of this post, this franchise is for sale (owner is retiring), so its fate is in question and things could change under new ownership.

I happened upon this store during a work trip to Bolingbrook. This store was fantastic and the lovely women who work there were excellent. The clothing in the store was meticulously and carefully organized, sorted, and displayed. apl items were carefully arranged by size, season, and color! Labels were easily found with clear posting of price, brand, and size. It made shopping there a dream. I was really appreciative of the time the staff took to make the place so user friendly to busy shopping parents. I also overheard the staff greeting and playfully chatting with incoming parents and their little ones as they came in. Any and all questions weee answered promptly and with a smile. And the merchandise is of the highest quality. All of the brands you can imagine, carefully looked after and in pristine conditions.I would recommend this store to any one! I dont ever write store reviews but this store was such a gem I had to make note of it! And as a parent liking for beautiful things for my little ones, I rely on reviews from other moms, so I wanted to share this for all the moms thinking of coming by once upon a child in Bolingbrook. You should!!!

Brought some equipment in that was brand new (only used 3 times no stains nothing) a big rocker swing they had one on the floor priced at 60 dollars I was offered 10 after I showed them how to plug it in and work it because they said, this isnt functional when they hadnt even plugged the thing in! Not coming back here sadly. I feel Id get more for my equipment on Facebook than here.

I love this store. We have been to a few other Once Upon a Child and they were dirty and over cluttered. The Bolingbrook store was clean and had a great variety of cloths for my 4 year old. Weve been coming here since the week they opened. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

This is my favorite OUAC location, I love coming here when the owner is there ! She runs her buisness well and is always polite & professional. The selection here is always awesome and the pricing very much down to earth . Worth the drive !

I absolutely L💖VE L💖VE L💖Ve this place! I always come here when looking for items I need for my great granddaughter (8mo) for my apartment since I watch her while mom works. My last buy was a brand new one piece snowsuit! Tags were still on it ....price was$ 35.00, I got it for $14.99! Everything in this store is so gently used, that it looks as if it was never used, & many items have never been used! I highly recommend this store to all moms with fast growing babies, & on a budget who are looking to find so many items that babies grow out of so quickly....to buy from here!!💕

I always shop here bc it’s close by my house. I am upset bc one night I walked in and I was not greeted. The worker name was jordyn and she act like she did not want to be at work. I brought one thing which was a baby carrier and she did not ask me for my phone number so I can get my points like all the other employees do! This is the first issue I ever had at this location.

I was here a couple of days ago, and let me tell you they have a wide variety of colorful items, yes its a little snuggled in there, but you are most sure to find what your looking for.I love that they have a very big toy section.

Better than the Crest Hill Store in terms of pricing Id say, however the Crest Hill store is probably 3x as big and similar pricing.

Clean, good selection, staff was very friendly, and got a decent amount for items I sold.

I can honestly say I will never step foot into this store again. The clothes I brought in were deemed slightly out dated, and while I was waiting I listened to one of the associates repeat herself at least 15 times how she cannot believe the clothes she was going through were dry cleaned and how they were designer labels. I knew right then that all they were looking for was designer labels. I had carter, puma, and osh gosh. Guess thats not good enough. As I walked through the store looking at the clothes the maturity clothes that are offered and way out dated. I will not recommend any friends to go here.

I went to this location a few months ago to get some things for my coming son. Great prices and products. I recently found out that there is a Once Upon a Child in Brookfield and went there as its only 30 minutes from my home and Bolingbrook is 2 1/2 hours from my home.... Worst mistake Ive ever made!! Brookfield was so rude and inconsiderate. Ill definitely be driving the 2 1/2 hours back to Bolingbrook before my son is born in September. Loved this location.
