My called to put a hold on a Taurus 942 late Wen. They wouldnt take a deposit. We showed up Friday morning as we said and he sold it after talking to my wife but never bothered to call. He started trying to sell her a red, white and blue Ruger LCP and other pistols.Im not sure why gun stores attract these type of people for employment (arrogant, rude and pompous). Reminds me of the no longer in business Steves Guns in Nixa.

Rzr was stolen and crashed at Westside Automotive in Bolivar Missouri and was taken to hobby time motor sports in Bolivar Missouri on 8/25/20 Toby “service manger” argued about what parts were broken stating that it wasn’t broken from crash, this was a 545 mile turbo rzr never had a scratch on it until stolen and wrecked, remind you Toby is friends with owner of west side automotive and was on there side from the beginning and had no plans on resolving this dispute, owner of west side automotive son that stole and wrecked rzr decided to go and order several plastics to fix RZR and once my husband and I look over rzr and we noticed the entire driver side shock was pulled from frame at this time hobbytime was to look over entire rzr to decide what else was needed to be fixed and a insurance claim was made, weeks had gone by and our rzr never had even been moved from original spot it was parked on 8/25/20, several calls were made after weeks of waiting and no one knew anything about our parked rzr, never had a ticket when calling about our rzr it was referred to oh the wrecked turbo rzr didn’t even know my husbands name “very unprofessional” couldn’t tell him after a month of sitting there what parts were ordered or if any had even been ordered. At this time you can assume we were upset with the way this has been handled we still tried to give them the benefit of doubt and when calling 3 more times and being either told Toby is not here or sorry call back tomorrow we decided to finally pick it up on 10/1/20 at there surprise.they told my husband you can’t take your rzr yelled at him and we’re very rude and wouldn’t give spare key back, my husband left and called insurance agent to inform him we were taking our claim to a different business, Toby harassed our insurance Agent demanding him to write a check to hobby time and to with hold helping us at a different business he threatened us that he was going to lawyer up and we never gave written permission to order any parts nor was the rzr even looked over prior to ordering anything. A fb post was made in regards of there unprofessionalism they had been to us and the owner Jeff freeman who I was hoping was going to be reasonable and at least apologize for how unprofessional his employees had been, unfortunately this was not the case he informed me he was to busy to talk face to face and resolve this situation, when I asked him to talk with us he said “lmao” here is my number he defended his crew and didn’t want to hear how his customers had been treated, had no care to help us. Wish I could share fb post but he is so ashamed of his lack of Customer service he deleted the post. It’s annoying that customer service isn’t as important as it should be since you would be anything without your customers I wish I could say this is the only bad thing I can say about this business but if you keep reading the other reviews you will see this is an ongoing issue as well as talk to some other locals and they will have a few stories of there own. Karma sucks and it sure will come there way we will say it loud and people will know just the kind of business this company is running. Happy to say we have taken our rzr to a more reputable Polaris dealer who has been very helpful and professional. Our lesson has been learned with hobby time motorsports in Bolivar don’t take your sxs to this place.

Contacted them Via Armslist about a Springfield Hellcat OSP with Optic. Was contacted a few hours later and was told to Call Jeffrey at the store.. Called Jeffrey and spoke with him only problem I had was when I asked to make sure that the OSP plate was included he said “it should be” and didn’t really bother to look. Shipping got delayed by one day (No way is this there fault.) Once the firearm came in it was just what I expected! Great gun and they had an unbelievable price on it! A little upset that I never received a follow up email making sure I received the item but oh well. Overall pretty sound place. If they had a steal on something else I was looking for I would definitely order from them again!

Do not take anything here for service. Service rep does not know anything about motorcycles. Wanted to charge 4 hours to replace a set of pipes. Went on Google looked up instructions. Had the pipes replaced in under 30 min. And Im not a tech. Prices are good. also they have OK selection on Bikes during the summer months. Dont go there during the winter months. THEY HAVE NOTHING.

The guys over at Hobby time are of a rare quality. They go above and beyond the normal level of service that you would expect to recieve. I have had the pleasure of working along side them. And I can tell you they bend over back to make you happy. Its nothing to see a salesman stay late on a long HOLIDAY weekend to just to ensure the client gets his purchase as promised 2 thumbs up ! Very trustworthy! And their prices must be great .I personally. Know 2 people who had been looking online for a sport utility vechicle.they did months of research and found this place was by far cheaper than anything else.

Hobby Time use to be fairly desent. But anymore they are over priced and the guy at the desk to get your utv serviced has been less than a person who you want to deal with! I made an appointment for my grandfather to get it serviced and to problem shoot the problems. We had to wait two weeks to to get an appointment. Thats fine and all but we arrived to a grumpy person with no customer service skills what so ever. Telling me I just scheduled a service job and could not believe I needed more work done to the Polaris as mentioned earlier. In my opinion Polaris needs to address this problem before many of us go to Pitbull power sports. As they are very nice and willing to fix the problems with no hassle and they will unload and load your utv without an attitude. Just my opinion

Worst place to ever buy anything from.!!!!!! The location near Clinton, MO had mixed so much stuff up when trying to buy a rzr. I was told i was approved then it changed to NO i could only get a brand new rzr, then got approved for yet another, and told them i was coming back in 2 days to pick it up. I am halfway there & they call saying i cant get it because THEY switched up the vin numbers after i was approved. Also, ran my cosigners credit 4 times knocking his credit down 40 points. I spent 3 hours there dealing with them going back and fourth from one thing to another all they kept doing was screwing me around not knowing what theyre doing. I would NEVER buy from this place or even think about it!

Dropped my ATV off to have two things done, ignition switch replaced, quoted $50 for the part and about $50 for labor. Then I asked for a fuel line to be replaced that was cracked at the clamp, specifically pointed at the line. Four weeks later I was called that it was ready. So I thought $100 for the switch and maybe $50 for the fuel line at the most. The bill $276.86 and what they did follows,1. Ignition switch2. Carb kit- didnt ask for this to be done.3. Air filter- didnt ask for this to be done.4. Fuel line- wrong one, still have the bad line.5. Spark plug- again didnt request this.Labor $168.00 never onece did I get a call saying hey, your carb looks bad needs to be rebuilt or a bad plug, they just did what they wanted and charge me for it. Have no intention of going back, to have something worked on or to buy another ATV.

Left my bike out in a storm. Didnt call me when it was ready. They also sent me back and forth between desks when all I wanted was a tire. They also took 14 days to replace my tire that was in stock which was 6 days longer than estimated. Poor customer service.
