Hy-Vee has everything I need. Its always there.If you want to save money on their deals for groceries its good. They have their app to see and show you what they have for deals on food and everything. I also have their fuel saving card which comes in handy if you save money to buy the items which have the fuel saver built in . This means more savings to fill you cars gas tank.

Been to many Hyvees this one was ok. I travel so i like the pre-made meals. Very low selection of meals.

Shelves were empty, no help in the isles, meat and eggs over priced. And I dont need a minute by minute count down of the last 45 minutes the store was open. If their customer service was like the count down my visit would have been tolerable.

Im not sure whats happened to the Hy-Vee in Boone, but the changes in employee attitudes are both noticeable and significant. It wasnt that long ago that A helpful smile in every aisle was more than a slogan...it was real and customers experienced it on a regular basis. I visited the store today to find too many empty shelves, employees who treated me as an interruption, and an overall atmosphere of ... who cares. As a customer, I experienced what its like to be invisible! The only exception was the checkout clerk who actually thanked me for being there. Loss leaders and slick ads arent the only reasons why people choose where to shop. Perhaps its just the effect of the pandemic and isolated to this location, I hope so. But, the change is tangible and regrettable. Hy-Vee is better than that. Just saying.

So today I got the second dose of the vaccine Moderna. Knowing already I am going to be a bit sick from it for a few days, I stopped off at hyvee on my way home. I only go to hyvee when I have a small amount to buy and am too tired to go elsewhere.The first thing I notice when I come into the store is the price of fruit. It is twice the price of other stores in town. I go find what I need. I NEEDED a box of fudge bars. Its going to be close to 90 degrees in a couple of days, and the bright sparks who replaced my furnace last December failed to reattach the electrical for the central air. PM me for their names. I really hate those guys right now. Anyway, I digress, back to the fudge bars. There was only off brand fudge bars. In an industrial size for 20 fudge bars. Which of course was extra expensive. Tired and desperate, I choose the ONLY BOX of fudge bar size I can get. Into my cart. I looked at a couple other things. Twice as much to buy as elsewhere. I have a stubborn streak that is in no way deterred by my gluttony. So it was a nope on those things. Finally I get a bag of ice.Traumatized by the prices and sunk to to new low of cynicism, I head to check out.Who do I get TAMMY. I know you are going to end up reading this Tammy. So lets make sure we have the right one. Short hair, large abdomen, short Tammy. Lets call you TALKY TAMMY. Cause thats what you do. talk talk talk blah blah blah and you never stop. I really dont like you. So today I see you again, and what are you doing? Ding ding ding. Talky Tammy is talking blah blabbying. While my ice melts and my industrial extra EXPENSIVE off brand fudge bars begin to ooze.Honestly Tammy. Have you no dignity? What was it you said? OH. I just wanna know everyones name so when they come here, I can TALK to them and call them by name.TAMMY. What is the sound of one hand clapping? One of the best managed grocery stores, with a home office that is continually improving its customer experience.Most offer a bakery, salad bar and food court with meals made to order. Many also have a Starbucks inside that has all the same good coffee varieties of the stand alone shops.

This is one of the smaller Hy-Vee stores that provides a more customer oriented and caring service. They provide a wonderful Pharmacy staff that is very customer-oriented and takes Extra Care and meeting your needs 4 prescriptions and suggestions four alternate drugs at a lower cost.The meat department provides Extra Care in preparing your order just as you would like it. Last night we enjoyed a wonderful prime rib roast that was outstanding!

Ive been coming to this grocery store my whole life. Its your one stop shop, has groceries, liquor, hot lunch, organic section and great customer service. Its more pricey than was mart or gateway but thats what you pay for quality.

We used this Hyvee for our wedding Flowers and Cake. They were super nice, super easy to deal with, Cheaper than all the other options. Our flowers came out so much better than I couldve even hoped for and our cake was exactly what we wanted. They helped our special day be that much better!

For a company that boldly brags it is employee owned, you really need to train your management better on how to treat those employees. An apology from corporate doesnt fix this problem. The manager should be reprimanded, retrained, and transferred for bringing such negative publicity to you business.

Was there for the Shop With a Cop chili supper fund raiser. The chili was terrific as was the service, which the officers provided. They even took the time to talk with my son and answered all his questions.

Selection is poor, variety has dwindled down to Hy-Vee brands.

I think Hy-Vee does a good job of keeping the store clean and I like that it is 24 hours. I tend to have a difficult time finding items in the produce section but otherwise thing are set up well. Definitely offers great options of cheese too.

Love my Boone Hy-Vee! It is great to walk into a place and have people great you by name in some cases. There is always a smile (not just a commercial ploy) and everyone is always helpful!

Nice selection for a smaller city.

If Walmart wasnt around, this would be the store everyone would go to. Its a big local store. Its got just about everything. And there is not much to complain about. Obviously it doesnt have the amount of things Walmart does, but its got the essential things you need.

I like my local hyvee, but the staff arent usually very peppy.
