The three employees were very hostile. I walked in and forgot my mask. But none of the employees had one on. I get it there is a mask mandate I went and got my mask. Never was rude. Still bought cookies, which the cookies were definitely great. I’d give them a 7.7 which is a solid cookie. But to the three employees working at this store. They are a liability to this store. They are rude and honestly if they talked to someone that way as a server they would not receive a tip. It’s unfortunate these three kids do not understand customer service and need a lesson in sales and respect. If it were my store after reading reviews I would fire them.But the cookies. Lemme tell you this business has the recipe figured out. Cookies were excellent

My stepdaughter and I were on our way back from a long drive from South Carolina, and we really wanted a dessert. But, we were asking ourselves where could we get some sweets so late on a Sunday? Insomnia Cookies, of course.I have to be honest, it was great being able to buy warm, delicious cookies at that time of night, and they were soooooo good. Not that expensive, just 2 dollars per cookie which isnt bad but it might feel like it if youre on a budget.However, when we were waited on, it felt like we were being rushed. Wed never been there before, and that didnt seem to matter. Whoever the girl was behind the counter seemed very adamant that we hurry up, order our cookies and leave as quickly as possible. We were the only customers. I try to be understanding, so it wasnt that big of a deal, but I doubt Ill be doing business here anymore if the staff is that standoffish again.

The cookies here were great quality and they were delicious with the ice cream. The customer service was not too great as one of the people there was not quite friendly. I dont if she was having a bad day, but you should still be professional in your job. I hope they have a better day after slamming a tray of cookies in front of customers and giving bad vibes.

WOW! This place is amazing. The cookies are delicious and the options are great. I had a cookiewich with white chocolate macadamia nut on the top and peanutbutter chip on the bottom, with a scoop of vanilla ice cream in between. What an incredible treat. The woman working the counter was quick and helpful. The prices are a little high, (the math doesnt quite work out for how they priced the cookiewiches) but oh well, its ok, its a treat for a reason.

This location refused to adhere to the Insomnia Cookies promotional for graduate students. The promotional ad states if you have no cap and gown any proof you are graduating is fine. However, the young woman with red hair was very rude and would not accept any other proof that I graduated today. My graduate program did not require cap and gowns for us to walk. I showed her my official graduation status on my student account and pictures from my graduation ceremony dated TODAY. She was dismissive. There were no other customers so I’m not sure where her poor attitude was stemming from. Tip: borrow a friend’s cap and gown for free cookies because actual proof of your graduation status will not be accepted.

Ordered two cookie wiches and one of them only had one cookie on it. I should of paid attention to them making it.

Very poor delivery practices and extremely bad management. You can be on hold for 30+ minutes trying to check on an order because their online website is a complete mess not only in its failure to actually send orders through but also delivery estimation times. The food is great, and I feel bad for the mostly kind workers who have such poor management. Appalachian Cookie Company is the better option.

The cookies are great but the customer service is HORRIBLE. William is rude and lacks customer service needed for this type of job. The delivery used to be on time and has gotten worse with each order over the last two years. Two hours later from the text that said on the way...cookies still not there. I could have made the 2.5 hour drive and delivered to my daughter myself.

The lady in the back was extremely rude. They didnt have any of the cookies we wanted and basically shoved us out the door. They were very short with us and laughed at us as we left. We usually order from App Cookie Co and now I understand why. We placed the order and had a typo in the address, tried to call the store to change it and no one answered. Went to the store and the manager (not wearing a mask) told us we can’t call the store?? Also, the phone rang when we were in there and everyone just ignored it. He told us the call would redirect to customer service. We were on hold for THIRTY MINUTES and were never redirected. Finally got our cookies and one looked like it had several bites taken out of it. Too bad we couldn’t call the store to correct this...

I walked in and the employees were not wearing masks. There were at least 3, one might not have been an employee. I asked about my order and felt like an inconvenience. Cookies were ok. Definitely will be going to App cookie co. In the future.

I called around 11:30 september 9th for a delivery and never got an answer. I called back several times and still didn’t get an answer. Finally I drove there and when I went in the workers weren’t friendly and were out of almost everything. What cookies I did get were really great but terrible customer service. Answer the phone people!!

Don’t get me wrong probably the best warm cookie and ice cream I’ve ever had, BUT I went there right after I moved in and there was one worker so it took sooooo long there was a huge line out the door. The worker making our cookies was not wearing a mask the whole time preparing everyone’s cookies. Everyone blames the students for the cases, but don’t take into consideration businesses that aren’t taking these precautions.

For the 5th time Ive ordered cookies and didnt have my entire order delivered. Im sick of wasting money and complaining for close to nothing being accomplished. Most time when your cookies are delivered expect no actual information as to when they will be delivered. I got a text once saying cookies will be delivered in 10 minutes, 45 minutes later I still didnt have them. This location is poorly managed and staff. You are better off ordering from Appalachian cookies.

Called Boone location and placed an order. Instead of making the delivery on time it went to Arizona.Knowing it was their mistake they canceled my order in Arizona. That I did not make. They should have made me happy and have given my daughter a cookie or something. Instead they sent me coupons. Will probably not use. So if you order from them I would make sure they have typed in the right location. Poor business decision. In my opinion!

Im just tired of this location. Ive walked across town on 2 separate occasions and both times they have been out of cookies. So I thought Ill call ahead and make sure they have some available before walking over. I called the number listed for Boone and Im directed to a call center. Apparently I cant call the local store directly. The 2nd time I was told they didnt have any because of a big catering order, the people were waiting in the store. Customers were coming in behind me who wouldnt receive anything either. Correct me if Im wrong but most places require time in advance to fulfill catering orders so other customers wont be left out. Not so here! Poor management if you ask me. Its a shame because I liked their cookies.

Ordered online at 9:15, and the cookies were delivered to the hotel room by 10:15. Cookies were hot and tasted great. Yes, a little overpriced, but it’s worth it.

Started to come here rather regularly. Haven’t had a single problem with them and I am always satisfied with the store’s quality and service. Every employee I have encountered has been extremely quick and friendly, they always have a bit of everything every time I go there (compared to other cookie places I have gone to, where they’ll only have 5 out of, say, 12 of their available cookies), I get a full box in a matter of minutes, and their cookies are always warm and gooey. Lovely place with great hours for night owls like myself.

The cookies are not worth the price. They have minimal staff running the place all the time. When I went, I was lucky enough to be at the front of a line of a few dozen people out the door, but only two staff who didnt seem to either care or notice that they needed to start hustling to move the line along. When I got to the counter they said they had just run out of cookies, and said they needed 10 minutes for fresh ones to bake. OK, I said, Ill wait. 15 minutes later, the cookies were just being put in the oven. No one even bothered to apologize about the long wait. This was only my second visit at this business and I was thoroughly disappointed. I wasnt pleased with the service the very first time I went, but my most recent visit was abysmal. I walked out without buying anything just to make a point, even though I did really want cookies.

Delicious cookies served hot! They also have cookie ice cream sandwiches and cookie cakes for sale. Open super late and staff are always pleasant! My biggest problem with this shop is how expensive everything is. I would not buy cookies in bulk here due to such high prices.

Insomnia is highly overpriced and overrated. The cookies taste like they’re straight from a mix and have been sitting in the warmer for several hours too long. Take your money to a local business instead!

They dont have gluten-free. The whole reason I went to this place is because their website (still) says they have gluten-free cookies. They dont, and when I enquired, the chick at the register was short about it. If you dont have them, fine, though update your marketing. The gluten-philes in my group said the cookies were too sweet and not very flavorful.
