I have just moved back to Louisiana and my Ford had always been serviced at the dealership in Georgia. That dealership took great care of me and my car. I was hoping to find a dealership that I could trust here in Louisiana. I have found it— Wray Ford! Absolutely the kindest and great customer service. I will be a customer of Wray Ford Service Department from now on! Thank you!
Let me start with I have purchased 3 vehicles from Wray Ford. I have never had an issue until I purchased a 2020 Ford Explorer brand new. My husband and I were not informed that the vehicle had hail damage until more than half way through signing for it. We went ahead with it at that point. After getting it home we noticed that the rear hatch would not auto close and bump and reopen. The rear head rest also would not flip down so that the rear seat could be folded in. We had appointment with the service department January 3rd 2021. They had the vehicle for more than a week with no offer of a loaner which caused my husband and I to share. Upon pick up it was seen that the rear hatch had indeed not been repaired but reprogrammed which did nothing because the entire hatch door was no aligned. Also when repairing the headrest they had to remove the seat and stretched large chunks out of my interior. We were told they would make it right. Well here we are 8 months later and they finally say they have the parts in to repair it. It has been so long that my rear hatch had completely bent to the side to accommodate the alignment. We dropped the Explorer off on 8/2/21 and still have not received the car back. We are leaving for vacation tomorrow and have to have the vehicle. My husband had called and we were told the interior is ripped apart but they will put the old parts back in so we can get it today to go on vacation. We have 4 kids and have had to go with one vehicle for more than a week when we were told it would take 2 days. This is the worst customer service I have ever experience! Please I urge you do not by a vehicle from here if there is any change you will need any type of service done. I will be taking my business elsewhere from now on. There is absolutely no excuse for this type of service.
This was the worst experience Ive ever had at a dealership (and I have had some terrible experiences). My truck was in the shop for TWO MONTHS, I was repeatedly lied to by my service advisor, Austin (the service ticket says CHARLES WILLIS). Thank God, my truck was under warranty, but being in a rental for two months costed me THOUSANDS of dollars. Austins communication skills were atrocious. I was put on hold dozens of times, I was repeatedly hung up on, no one could ever give me a straight answer about anything, I asked for numerous call backs (which I never received, which Austin repeatedly had to apologize for). I got accused of recording Austin with my cell phone, which at no point in time did I do. Austin repeatedly asked me to speak to him outside (is this a standard practice, because I didnt see any other customer doing this, or was I singled out because he never could give me a satisfactory answer to my questions?). I bought my first truck from Wray, twenty years ago, but Ill never do business with them again. I was treated like a fool while I was alone, in front of other customers, and in front of my children. Wray Ford is a joke and they will not be getting any more of my money. Their employees are either incompetent, liars, or both. And this is completely unacceptable. I would not recommend anyone go to Wray for any serious repairs.
Over the years I have purchased multiple vehicles from Wray Ford. All buying experiences have been great. Amos Michelle is the best. From start to finish he helps me thru the buying process. Amos also is very knowledgeable with the new technology available in my 2021 f150.He explained in detail how each new function works. Overall I can’t be happier with my truck and buying experience
I guess they just dont want to sell a vehicle. Went there to look at getting a new truck. Asking about trading in my existing vehicles. Was told they would give me $500 a vehicle. My truck had 115k and nothing wrong with it. They said it was all they could offer. I ended up going to a different dealership and got 13k for my truck and bought new 40k truck. Save you time and go somewhere else. I ended up getting a truck from Bolton Ford in Lake Charles. They delivered the truck to my driveway, was a great experience.
Many car salesman tend to be a bit overbearing and pushy. But in our experience at Wray Ford with Mr. Amos it was very personable and he went above and beyond to treat me and my wife like we were somebody. Very professional and just wanted you to be happy with the car that you purchase. All staff there were very friendly and professional. If your looking for a new ride for yourself or a loved one, give Amos at Wray Ford a ring. He will get you taken care of and make your car buying investment fun, informative, and easy.
Service was terrible bought 1 truck there and 5 months later had to trade it in due to the truck wouldnt hold oil in it, the trade in deal was ok but then paper work wasnt filled and had to redo it and if they need u they call or text daily but when u need them no one returns call or text. I will never be back!!!
Shout out to anyone looking to use Wray Fords service dept on Benton road. I was really disappointed and aggravated at what my $154 diagnostic fee got me. I recently bought a used 2011 Ford with a problem and took it to the dealership thinking they, of all people, would be able to diagnose my issues better than anyone else. Instead of a solid diagnosis and price..my $154 bought me a lot of probably, maybe and we think answers. By the guy at Fords own admission..they really couldnt be sure what the issue was without tearing down my transmission...but they had no issues with taking my money for an actual diagnosis I never really got.Secondly the issue they thought might be it was priced out to me as roughly $1900+parts and Im sure tax. I have now taken it to a certified transmission shop to have it looked at. If Fords guess is right..it will only cost me $850 in total to have it repaired.The difference in price, though drastic, doesnt even surprise me. What is aggravating is, after waiting nearly a week, just throwing $154 away for basically nothing. I did not get an absolute diagnosis or price which is what I thought I was paying for and the main reason I took it to a Ford dealership in the first place.In the end..my advice would be..if you didnt buy it from them new with a warranty...dont waste your time or money with them. Absolute rip off in my opinion.

The worst auto repair experience ever!!! They didnt call to communicate at all...got to the point they recognized the phone number and would hang up...they would tell us they would call but never did!! They had the vehicle for over weeks...finally got it back and the problem we took it if for wasnt fixed at all...but charged us over 700.00 to fix something else ! If you want your vehicle fixed dont take it to Wray Ford!!!!
My salesman, Amos, was awesome. Knew basically what I had wanted and was able to give me a good deal on my new 2020 F150. Willing to call and make sure I was satisfied with the bed liner that was put in as well.
They fixed my car and I am pleased with the service i received.
My father and I were looking at slightly used trucks. Our sales guy, Joseph with the blue shoes, was very informative and friendly without being at all pushy. They also had a very good selection of vehicles. Definitely a great place for gently used vehicles. Look for Joseph blue shoes.
Worst customer service experience. This was my second time of trying to work with them. The first was when I was looking for a new expedition, they couldn’t seem to work with me so I went with another dealership to get my 2020 expedition. I needed to schedule a warranty service repair and they couldn’t give a loaner nor tell me how long they’d have to have my vehicle after holding for 12 minutes. I will never use Wrayford and will commute due to the customer service.
Absolute joke of a service department. From the time we dropped our vehicle off until the time we picked it up, their ineptitude was apparent. This dealership serves as a reminder of why doing business in this area is not a good idea.
First off, I would like to say that Karen T. is a Rock Star!! (5 stars all the way) We have purchased three vehicles through Wray over the last 5 years and with the exception of one incident which was completely out of Karens control, the overall experience has been very pleasant. Now lets discuss the Service Department... It is understood COVID-19, 2020 elections, Climate Change or whatever you want to claim is the issue, there is still a job to do in order to maintain a relationship with your customer base. When one calls to discuss an issue and hopefully get the vehicle in, the last thing a customer wants to hear is the person on the other end quoting Our Policy is.... Truth is the appropriate response should be We will do our best to get you in and take care of your issue not sure if yall want to consider this a complaint or not. Perhaps it falls under constructive criticism. Thank you for your time.

Early morning service is quick for oil change
I went in to purchase a new 2021 F150. I had a 2019 F150 to trade in with 30K miles they offered me 26K. They had 2019s on their lot and were selling them for almost 35K. Theirs had no tow package nor a bed liner like mine did. The Sales manager did not even budge with their offer. Ive purchased 10+ vehicles over the past 28 years and this was the worse sales team Ive ever encountered. I told them I dont need a new vehicle especially ones that are rusted out underneath like all of their 2021 F150s and walked right out.Update, the owner basically admits to low balling customers on their trade-ins and blame COVID-19. See his response below just in case they decide to delete it. And yes I’ll trade my truck in for 26K so you can sell it for 35K, no thanks. Also USAF members are Airmen not soldiers.Response from the owner5 hours agoLife is full of hardships and challenges. For example, 500,000 people died of Covid last year, and no family has remained untouched by the pandemic. At this point in time I would think that a career USAF soldier would have more important things to do than whine at me on the internet about his trade in. We cant make a living if we dont trade for vehicles, so obviously we are making our best effort to trade for your truck.

Everyone should know by now that a good dealership possesses a strong and talented Service Department. And Wray Ford has just that! The entire staff was friendly, well mannered. Positive vibes here. Shout out to Mr. Bruce and the men for repairing my F-150. Runs like a top again. Everyone here is very good at what he/she does.
I purchased a 2019 Ford truck a month later I find that I was over charged by 20 thousand dollars I’m a disabled veteran and trusted that the deal was fair now I’m upside down and Wray Ford offers no help but that I buy an even more expensive truck I think they are the worst money grabbers in the world this has hurt my credit and it stoped me from buying a home I had great credit scores and I’m so disappointed I will never trust a car dealer again
The salespeople are very down-to-earth and not at all pushy. I almost felt like they were interviewing me to see if I was a good fit for their family!! The managers all worked together and came up with a deal that was better than I could have expected. No one tried to push any extra sales/programs on us (they were offered, but not pushed) and everyone I met was very friendly and laid back. Beautiful dealership with a very nice customer waiting area for the service center. This dealership has an old-time family approach to selling cars with a very modern building and service center--the best of both worlds!

Service department and service manager screamed and cussed at me for me asking to see if there was active warranty.....after escalating to upper management there was active warranty.
Took my 2019 F250 to see about getting some warranty work done. One of the pads between the cab and bed is trying to come loose. Wray service told me they didnt have a body shop and wouldnt be comfortable fixing it. It sticks on like a sticker.
Went in to pick up a part that Danny ordered for me, and as always, it was waiting on me just like he said.Then I confirmed my Wednesday appt with Trista in service. Second time she has been my service writer and I am again pleased that she seems to be on top of things.From about 2013 to 2018 the service department IMO had gotten very lax and sloppy. They got a new service mgr about 2,5 years ago, and it shows. Yea! Because I was contemplating a new dealer.... But they are earning my trust back.

Called an told service department what was going on with my car an asked for a price to fix the issue an was told they dont know cuz they dont know whats wrong with the car Im over here like I just told you what was wrong but its not the first time iv called with issues about my car an them being dum founded about a price to fix it and find it sad I drive a ford an chevy is more straight forward an ready to help fix it an ford is over here saying they dont know

Contacted Wray Ford last night regarding a 2019 Explorer Limited they had in stock that was used. They contact me back this morning and assigned me a salesman named Will Wise. Super nice guy on the phone, I was working out details to come by this evening after work to look at it and 95% sure I was buying if the offer on my trade was good! I sent copy of driver’s license, registration to him to get the ball rolling per him. I text pictures, VIN of my trade etc. I had a friend of mine going to take my trade over so they could get things going until I got there. I was driving an hour so I wanted to get a jump on it. I see a missed call from him so I call back only to discover that they were selling that vehicle right then. Needless to say I was rather HOT! He didn’t want me driving an hour only to find they sold it. That was nice of him.I went to Chevyland right then bought a brand new 2020 Traverse for that same as I was going to purchase the Explorer for! Thank you Will Wise for selling that out from under me!!! You actually did me a favor. I got a better deal and service!!! Will not be back to Wray Ford to buy a vehicle!!!

Unimpressed by parts dept. My company had ordered a part through them. We had to call them a few days after it was supposed to be in, talked to 6 different people before they finally figured out the part has been there for a week. Wth?? We were under the impression theyd call us & let us know it was there. Seems like its a real cluster__ over there.
Josh Cosme sold us a great fusion at a fair price! Easiest car buying experience of my life and fairest! They actually care here and dont make you feel like just another sale. They were straight forward, patient, and open about any questions we had! They have my business and will recommend anytime I can!

I was charged for a diagnostic fee that was misdiagnosed, and I was charged AGAIN for a diagnostic fee when I brought it back. If you fail to make the correct diagnosis the first time you can’t charge again! This review will stand until my money is returned for the second diagnostic fee. The people are polite, but standing behind work is a must in this business!

Finance department was amazing. Jimmy has been a big help with everything. It was my first purchase and he made me feel stress free and has made everything go smoothly.
They had my brand new vehicle for almost 2 weeks. Had no idea how to fix it. Was supposed to look into it and call me. 3 weeks later and 6 voice-mail, I have left them and still no response. Going to take my vehicle to a different dealership. Wray Ford cant figure anything out. Let alone how to return a phone call.

3 stars because Im being neutral in this situation. Seen a video of a dude that left his Gt500 there for 3 months to get fixed. Then eventually had hail damage on top of that and now theyre saying their not reliable for the car. Even though its an Act of God, you should atleast in good faith fix the mans car because it was on your property. Times already tough as it is, but this is only one mans opinion.
Service Department needs improvement. Takes to long to get a simple fix done. When I brought my truck up there I told them I talked to a lady they rudely told me they dont have a lady that works there i must not have called there. Well when I picked it up there was 2 of them there.I purchased an extended warranty on my truck when i got it and I was told it covered everything that the warranty did if I had purchased a new truck.Well come to find out according to the service department it does not cover everything and I had to pay for the repair.And on day 4 I had to call them to see if it was ready.
I got a great deal on a new F150 at Wray. Cricket was wonderful to work with.

By accident, I had to purchase a new vehicle. Seventeen years ago I bought a Deluxe Mustang in Navy Blue. When a truck reversed into me, I needed a new vehicle. I went to my GO TO dealer, WRAY FORD in BOSSIER CITY, LA.IN a very short time, Amos Meshell had me driving a RED 2020 Ford Escape Sport WS. He and I could not have made a better choice. GO SEE AMOS when you need a new vehicle.
Gateway ALWAYS gives me GREAT customer service. From the time I call, the drop off & pick up service as well as when I’m paying for my services. The employees are friendly, professional and ready to be of service to me. Kyle, Bruce and the technicians are honest and won’t recommend a service that you don’t need. If I’m my budget is tight at the time, they’ll tell me which service(s) are a must do versus the ones that can wait a little while longer. I just really appreciate the integrity of the company.

Two years prior my husband bought his 2014 Mustang Loaded. It was his dream to have one so Wray Ford set us up. Wray Ford is A Great Place To Buy A Car!!!!!!

Changing my review stars. I have been using Wray for many years but my experience the last 2 times makes me a little afraid of going back. Called about water flooding my passenger floor. My thought was evaporator core or heater core. They told me that it was because we live in Louisiana & its the high humidity. WHAT!?!?... Went in for an oil change.. got home & got in my truck that evening & truck wouldnt start. Lifted the hood & BOTH batteries were heavily corroded. Had to go back & buy a battery. Makes me wonder if they even opened the hood & changed my oil. I looked at the check list & it said that my batteries were perfect. Had my EVAPORATOR CORE issue fixed at Rountree.
No Ford Dealership can match the high level of the customer service department or. The new and pre owned car sales team. Especially the sales manager that make sure you get the best value.

This is the third vehicle we’ve bought from Wray Ford. We’ve had a positive experience every time. Offered what I considered a fair price on my trade in & our new vehicle. Karen was our salesperson, she showed us exactly what we asked for, no games or nonsense. Excellent salesperson. Charles handled our financing, he got us a better interest rate than our initial choice of lenders. Nice to have a decent dealer right in town.

Left a friends brand new GT500 outside. Car had under 1000 miles on it. Ended up with a huge amount of hail damage. They are not taking any responsibility. Leaving a car that cost over 100k outside in the elements seem very much like their responsibility. If you value your car take it elsewhere to someone who also values your car.
Service was fine and the oil change/service was also fine. I am very disappointed that the dealership has lost its certified diesel technician. I will now have to find another certified mechanic for work beyond a basic oil change.

I am looking for a new car to fit my family and he provided excellent service and knowledge to help me in making an informed decision on what will be best for us. I am a very impulsive person and he helped me figure out what I really wanted and what would work best. There was never any pressure! I will be going to him for my next purchase for sure! Wray ford and Will Wise really helped me in every way when a lady t-boned and totaled my 2020 camaro. Red River Chevrolet and the lady who hit me’s insurance, Shelter Insurance, were a nightmare to work with. Six (6!) trips in the shop at Red River, 7 months, and they could not find that the subframe and unibody was both bent and twisted. It took a tire company to find and show(shout out to Gateway Tires on Shreveport/ Barksdale Highway!) them. Will and everyone at Wray was very understanding with empathy, and helped me get into a car I wanted! No pressure sales talk. It was working with regular people who care! Even the finance department was helpful with zero sales gimmicks or pressure! Give Will Wise and and Wray Ford a try if you are looking for a new or used car! I would beware Chevrolet in every way! Buy Chevrolet at your own risk and just know that when something goes wrong, it will be YOUR fault and never anything wrong with the car. I was told by Red River after 4th time aligning the tires in less than 2000 miles driving, that wind was causing problems, car was in sport mode which you are NEVER supposed to use, car was “tramlining”( word they made up) on grooves in road, their bad Goodyear eagle Sport tires were problem, blue tooth on my phone was problem, my iPhone 11 was too old and the “rays”emitting from phone were causing car to mess up, and lastly, I just didn’t know how to drive! Their service department would say they drove car for hours with 5 different mechanics and could not reproduce issues and the odometer on car only had 2 miles on it! Yes, I have pictures.To the lady who bragged that she went to Chevrolet, I feel sorry for you! Cold, stiff, CADAVERS laying out in the street give better service than Chevrolet! Fun fact: paint on a Chevrolet car has ZERO warranty! If the whole side peels off it is YOUR fault and problem! It’s even in writing on their warranty!For real, helpful, caring, professional, people choose to give Wray Ford a try!
Wray Ford, has always been customer oriented. They are fast! They are courteous and always friendly. Wray Ford has taken care of my car since 2011. I will not bring it any where else. They check every thing.Best times to bring your car is middle of week and mid day. But any time they will make sure you are happy. I am just a customer but they make me feel like a friend. We recently had Wray Ford replace the motor in one of our work trucks. We were extremely pleased with the fast turn-around time and the quality of the work performed. The price was fair, as well. We would definitely recommend their service department!
Worst experience buying a vehicle. The employees are only nice when you’re purchasing. Good luck if u have any issues after the vehicle it’s already yours. No one will help!! They look at you like you are lost and no one knows anything. Would never go back and wouldn’t recommend to anyone.
Wray Ford is a great place to have your auto serviced. Always courteous and helpful in explaining any problem plus they always do more than I expect. Nice wait room with coffee and magazines to read. Friendly sales force and it is always a pleasure to take my cars in.
Wray has done my auto service work for about 15 years. No problems.Most recent repair to my Edge required an electronic module replacement. Took a week for the part to arrive. Other than having to wait for the part, I had no problem with the quality of the service.
Customer service is so far from dead at Wray Ford! They go above and beyond without the overwhelming feeling of their presence. With this atmosphere they have left me more than satisfied. I purchased my first vehicle at Wray Ford from Ron Sheline and he really paved the foundation for my experience here. He made sure I received the car I was really shooting for and was honest with me about my responsibilities, prices that are in my range, & advised me more so than sold to me which actually sold me to love this establishment. That’s only the beginning, the aftermath of buying my car was the service section. WOW! Karl is the man to go to!!! Guys, he will fit to your needs and do all he can to make it easy on you. The service team at Wray ford is just as amazing as their sales crew and I’m so amazed. You don’t find this often and I’m reminded each time I need to go there why I chose Wray Ford. Eric and Ron are absolutely amazing! Genuinely nice people, and dont give the pushy car salesman vibe at all. You can tell everyone that works there cares about their customers first and foremost. And they get bonus points for making it as kid friendly as possible, to the point that my 3 and 5 year old wanted to go back again.
I purchased a 2015 Nissan Versa two weeks ago. Alternator was bad. When I asked if they would replace it I was treated very rudely by a manager. I will never do business with these people again. And I just want to warn others do not trust these used car dealers. When wanting to return my lemon I was told I would not get my down payment returned. I may be contacted through a record of this deal purchased 12/12/2019 where my information is available to the right person such as the owner Mr. George Wray.

Left a newly purchased Shelby GT500 out in a hail storm. The car was there for three months because the transmission failed at 950 miles. Owner went to pick it up and it was covered in dents, filthy dirty and the engine light is still on. Car is not fixed and should be taken back due to lemon law. They will not fix the dents. The owner of the dealership along with employees say it’s an act of god even though the new car was not drivable due to faulty parts. Top it off three employees bashed the customer and posted a personal document including his signature on Facebook when he made a post reaching out for help on the situation. Paige Accardo, Logan Scott and Ray Gilbert all posted on the car owners Facebook post. Terrible service all around including the owner telling the car owner his insurance will pay for it.
This was as always a great experience. The service person who handles my car is a fantastic guy. He always remembers me and calls me by name. He makes sure my car is safe for the travel I do for work. This guy needs to stay! You could not find better anywhere. Love him!
Sales staff is good, service staff is terrible. Both of my rear tires were replaced and while replacing they damaged both rear rims. When repairs were made they were subpar. Rims looked nothing like the new ones that came on the car when new. Vehicle has 10,000 miles. When asked about why they don’t look like the new ones they said it shouldn’t they are repaired. I ask that my car look as good as or better than when I brought to dealership for service. My wife and I were both told that we were too difficult to deal with by the service manager and general manager. All I ask for is reasonable expectations on my car. I want my rims to look like they did before they damaged them. The staff told us to have a good day that they could not help us. Don’t use the service department. The service writer Kyle is nice and did what he could as well as Eddie the salesman. Unfortunately the service manager and gm are not easy to deal with and could care less as they have already made their money off of us. The rims should have never been damaged and were damaged by the service techs so any reasonable person would expect them to take care of issue. But they won’t.
They do have very nice facilities here and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable I only give them 3 stars for the fact that I waited in line at the service center forever finally when it was my turn I was told they wouldnt be able to get to my vehicle for almost a week and a half and at that point it was still just a tentative appointment —- I’m going to add one more store to my review due to the quick response,apology and offer to rectify my less than satisfactory experience I will at some point come back to allow them to do so with hopes that I can give that fifth star

Charles Massey is a great salesman. He is honest, direct, and most of all, not the typical pushy car salesman! We have bought 2 vehicles from Wray Ford...Charles even sends Christmas cards, how many salesmen take the time to do that!!!
Went for the 20,000 mile check up. got in and out in 30 minutes. Very nice not to have to wait any longer than that. The man that meets you at your car is so very nice. have enjoyed dealing with Wray Ford the last 3 years.
Brought my vehicle to have them check my engine light on. Bruce informed me that they will need to conduct some testing and diagnosis and I will be i formed of any needed repairs or fixes prior to doing them.Later, I was told that the mechanic jad conducted all the needed test and did not find anything. They just cleared the code and they did not even charge me for anything. Bruce was very professional and attentive to my concerns. I had the best car service experience.
We made an appointment a week in advance and took it in early that day and left it. The brake pedal was low and i asked for them to check it out. they didnt get to it on the day of appointment and kept it overnight the next dad they called and to tell me that it needed a controller that would cost $2K we were charged $116 for diagnostics so we said no and took the car to Gateway Tire who adjusted the rear brakes which fixed the problem and didnt charges us anything. Love Gateway Tire on Airline drive we give them 10 stars.
Great experience here. I would definitely recommend going to Eric Carpenter. He saved me a ton of money compared to what I was about to spend at another place in Shreveport. Also, I didnt feel pressured or anything. Great place.
Worst service experience I have ever had with any vehicle. They hire very unprofessional young people. The oldest person seems like its only Bruce but he is very unprofessional too. Im a women and I can even figure out there is something wrong with my vehicle. They need to get it together because judging by other reviews Im not the only one with this problem.
