Best place hands down! Great for the entire family. Games, movies, music and so much more. Very very good prices. They will even do some trading on your books, get some new ones. Cool place. They have awesome t-shirts and hats. Comic books galore, even stickers and pins. All very groovy. Posters and coffee cups. Youll find yourself leaving with several items and not spending too much at all. You have to force yourself to leave tho, wonderful environment with equally wonderful employees.

This place is heaven for anyone who loves different forms of entertainment. They have everything from music to movies to books to board games and so much more! I always spend way too much time and money when I visit because I want to buy out the whole store.This is also the best place in town to find Manga, which I know is difficult to find here in the bible belt.They do not use single use plastics so be sure to bring a tote bag or laundry basket depending on how much you end up leaving with. Great place for nerd gifts!

Its like every other 2nd & Charles. Cool idea but staffed by people with no clue about their inventory. I saw 2 classical gutiars on thier racks not only strung improperly but with steel strings wich over time will warp the neck of otherwise nice instruments. I bought a stack of 5 records and wanted 2 more but they were GROSSLY over priced by about %300. ($50 for a $15 EP) I wanted to talk about the possibility of relaxing the price a bit so the clerk contacted the manager so I could talk to him. After waiting about 20 minutes for him the store was getting ready to close and en employee notified me that I should head to the counter to check out. I told him that I already had but I was waiting for the manager, turns out, he was the manager, I ask him about the pricing to wich he cut me off saying then buy them online I was willing to pay an inflated price for the EPs, I was hoping they would move even just %5 just because they were cool, I would have even paid the ridiculous price for one of them anyways if they couldnt reduce the price but not after being so disrespected for just asking a question.

Wonderful store to browse in. I feel there is something for everyone to buy. Comics, books, games, collectables, records, toys, and more. I would recommend 2nd & Charles to find that perfect gift. My one correction for the place would be to better arrange the clearance section in the back of the store.

The parking lot is pretty large, too.The staff is also amazing! Super friendly, helpful, and enjoyable to talk to.Clearance is currently BOGO free and they offer a 10% discount if you text 52219. (As of Late September 2020)NOT including the discount or the two books I got from the Free Bin out front, I got 10 books and 6 movies for $80.Note- they do NOT offer free bags for your purchased items. They do sell reusable bags, though. I suggest bringing one. I definitely needed it today!

Great store for old movies! I almost never have issues with the discs, but I personally check them before I buy them if I can.

An absolutely incredible place for everyone in the family. The 3&1/2 year old have plenty of stuffed animals to look through, my husband had plenty of board games, manga, comics & records to browse. I had a PLETHORA of books, I couldnt even look through all of them in one day, no matter how hard I tried! Their little tarot section and witchy section is beautiful, and theres tchotchkes scattered throughout the store. THE MUGS. Theres so much, its absolutely incredible. And to see the free bin out front was even better. We will absolutely be back to spend a whole day just searching for our next great find.

Absolutely the worst customer service Ive ever experienced. Went on 7/19/21 while I was out on vacation in Shreveport and walked out an unhappy camper. I wanted some Sleepy Hollow figures that were in the display case and walked multiple times and stood there forever until finally the girl with short hair behind the counter finally asked me very rudely do you need something and I told her well yeah Ive been standing here like 30 min. So she took my figures to the front counter. When me and my girlfriend go to check out, there was a guy with glasses that was sitting back in a chair texting on his phone with his feet kicked up and didnt even acknowledge that we were there then finally pops up and rings us out. After he rings us out, he immediately sits down and pulls his phone out to text again and didnt bag up a single item for us. I asked him if he was going to bag our items and he says oh well they are a dollar per bag so... and I tell him well then sell me a bag then man like its pouring rain like crazy outside. Hopefully if I ever go back they have different employees who actually care. Such a great store to let it be ran by such uncaring and rude employees.

Been in there a few times now reasonable prices, friendly helpful staff,had to return some games today I had bought the wrong games for the PlayStation my nephew had,I had no problem at all getting my money back.

Great place founding old and new movies especially horror movies

Not as expensive as youd think😁 I got 2 books from my favorite series for $5!! Each of them is originally around $25 or more so I would definitely say that was a steal. They also have posters, Funko Pops, and other movie/tv memorabilia and stuffies!

We where walking up to the store and didn’t know they took their mask thing so seriously. We walked in, for record I would be ok for them to kindly ask me to leave because of me not wearing a mask but being yelled across the store, embarrassed all of us in front of everyone? I don’t think that was called for.

Plenty of books on many subjects to peak your interest along with a selection of cds, cassettes (for some nostalgia), vinyl records (they sound the best!), and a plethora of collectible toys and games. One thing, bring your own bag, they dont provide them anymore.You can also sell collectible toys and games. Store credit is double what they offer in cash so seller beware.I got 1/6th the value of a vintage Star Wars Collection, because times were hard.🤐

No employee in the whole store knows about anything or where anything is, completely oblivious. Once I finally found what I needed (no thanks to the clueless employees), I waited at the front where the register was completely vacant and unsuprvised which is extremely stupid and easily robbed. I waited for 10 minutes and left.

Great atmosphere. Great selection of books, comics, toys, and pop culture memorabilia. Any fan of Harry Potter, Star Wars, Lord of The Rings, and comic book culture will find something that they like in the store whether that be an action figure, t-shirt, pops, poster, book, or misc item.

I really like the store HOWEVER I was in line the other day and a military vet was checking out and asked do you guys offer a military discount. The woman behind the counter gave him a strong NO and said you can go to our site and get 10% off. I can’t stand behind a store that doesn’t offer a discount to their Vets. Makes since being that everyone that works there is either a hipster or a hippie.

I used to enjoy shopping here but no more. Employees are the absolute rudest people I have ever come across. Anything this store has for sale can be found for less on Amazon and Ebay. Will never shop this store again.

Ive shopped at this store for years. They do not allow people to shop without a mask despite personal convictions or medical reasons. Therefore, I will NEVER shop here again. Silly fear has taken over this place too. We just left a store that allowed us to shop with no problem.

Updated 7/22/19well went in to buy a pop today. Seen one that I liked but noticed something was off about it. The box was falling apart. And had Chinese writing on the side of the box. I took it up there and asked do yall sell fake pops? The woman responds with I didnt know they made fake pops I was like really? I will not be buying my pops from here anymore.

I like to call this the Things I dont need but really want store.They used to be great, and still are really good, but their prices have stealthily increased ever so slowly, but surely.They used to have an awesome collection of used games that had really good prices, but now theyre closer to Gamestops used prices, and their collection isnt nearly as up kept as it used to be.Its unfortunate, but what can you do?They still have other good items, but I shop here much less frequently.

Used to be my favorite place in the world. They have all the second hand media you could possibly need. The staff is always so pleasant and helpful, however their signage is OFTEN incorrect. They will advertise buy 5 get 5 on ALL used books but when you get to the register they tell you no its only on certain books but the signage doesnt say this. I informed the manager and his response was basically oh well thats what corporate gives us to put out. Guess he doesnt realize hes responsible for his store.

Tried to make my husband wear a mask even though he is azmatic. Threated to call bossier PD on us. Extremely rude not willing to hear us out. Its the only place weve had a problem.

The best book store with games and books and I gotten three games for PS3 at a good price.

Not impressed AT ALL! Even the used stuff was priced like new (and you could tell it was used, Google the prices and you could buy it brand new for the same price they were charging used). Wish I had thought to take pictures to show. Apparently, they also got some of Toy R Us inventory when they closed down, but Im pretty sure they got it all marked down and they sell it for what Toys R Us would be selling it for if they were still open...go across the street to Ollies (who also got inventory from Toys R Us) and you can get $20-25 items marked down to $4.99...MUCH MORE REASONABLE. As for the Sell/Trade, that was about a joke. I was offered $19.60 store credit (or $10 cash) for 20 plus hardback books in EXCELLENT CONDITION (you couldnt even tell someone had read them as I used bookmarks and didnt bend the pages, etc). These are books I paid $25 plus for. I ended up keeping them. Problem with this is, go thru the store and look at the price of their books, they sell those priced like new too. So the store is offering me less than a buck a piece per hardback and they will be selling it for what the price is marked on the book (for example, there was a Disneys Frozen book about Olaf with a small stuffed Olaf snowman and it was used, you could tell it was used, the original price was $26.99 and they had their own sticker on it marked $26.99!!!!) SO NOT IMPRESSED, BUT IF YOUR CUP OF TEA IS SPENDING HARD EARNED MONEY PAYING BRAND NEW PRICES FOR USED ITEMS THIS IS YOUR KIND OF PLACE!!! They also have new stuff but its also overpriced 😂😂😂

Some of the merchandise is marked up. Even on product that is factory sealed and sent in bulk. I could understand if it were just rare traded in product, only.Of course this doesnt impact the customer service. Everyone was very nice and helpful.

I loved this place went in looking to read a bible. Good customer service lead me to one and I say and the floor and wept. Today is 9 months my husband and babygirl left this earth. I couldnt afford the journal bible but it helped me and so did the kind man who led me there

Love checking out there used books and they usually have what I am searching for and when used with a fair price. I hate how little their buy back is but thats how it goes!

2nd and Charles is fantastic for finding weird, obscure or nostalgic vinyl. I love digging through the art books. Theres always something wonderful for a great price. I also buy cool stickers for my car there. The store is neat and tidy. The staff is super friendly and helpful. 2nd and Charles is always a treat!
